Friendly cashier staff. Most of the produce are fresh. Some aren't. So you have to really inspect the boxes before you buy.

Teenoushh

Kind employees, helpful, fresh things

Ayush Kant Chaturvedi

This is indeed the place to buy good vegetables and fruits at cheap prices. They have even setup a path for current covid situation. You can either pay cash or debit. Credit cards are not accepted. Also, this is open every summer starting mid of April till mid of November every year.

Ahmed Mohammed

The Jean Bryant neighborhood market Popular market from farm to consumer, good prices compared to other markets, fresh fruits and vegetables.

Danielle Rousseau

One of my favourite open-air markets for fresh fruits and veggies at great prices. Easily accessible and open late in the fall..

Sherlyn Figueira

My go to location to pick up fresh fruit and vegetables. For reasonable prices. You can be guaranteed a large selection and fruit and veg that are grown in season. Worth the trip even of you need to pay for parking. O believe it is open 24hrs during the summer months. It closes for the winter though so look for the dates it opens and closes.

Arielle Eust

The best things about this place are the cheap fruits and the opening hours (24/7 during the warm months. Closed during late fall and winter).

Prahveer Kumar Ramoo

Fresh produce at affordable prices. Highly recommended

N Robertson

Fresh produce at unbeatable prices! Only drawback is that it closes for the season in November - still pretty late considering there's often snow on the ground by then!!

Farhan Malick

Went recently, the amount of morons who aren't covering their nose with their mask is astounding. Employees should be enforcing proper mask usage.

Pierre Y. Brodeur

Everything is fresh and very inexpensive this is a must visit very well located business if you happen to be in the area

Jovanne Millanes

Lots of choices and price is just right

Antti Koskela

This small marketplace for fresh goods is brilliant! Pretty much always open, great selection, good prices (great specials!) and convenient location right next to the subway station. Service is pretty good, too, and available in English.

Elena Rif

Always fresh and quality produce.

Vasyl Pelikh

God's stop for a quick, not expansive buy

Rashedul Islam

24 hr only on summer.

Zankhana Patel

Very good place in summer time to buy fresh and cheap vegetables and fruits. You can find lots of varieties here. It's also very much accessible location wise.

Michel Condoroussis

I use to like having this place as an option during most of the year. They have a lot of variety. I wish they promoted local growers more though then I would buy much more, seems like they have almost nothing from Quebec or Canada thus I now tend to cross the street to buy more locally. Sometimes the lines get long and the isles are tight so I aim for off hours and some customers really take time to go through the cash. All in all I find there are better options around so I don't go anymore.

Andrei Ceban

Went there to pick a Christmas tree ???? Trees look gorgeous but they were way too expensive to budget

Sajjad Majidizadeh

Fresh fruits and vegetables... recommended (it is not a fermers' market tho)

Parisa Alrz

I would expect a local farmer’s market to use less plastic packaging, to help produce less waste. But at Jean-Brillant market it’s the opposite, there are packagings for the discounted items, and berries, herbs, mushrooms, carrots. There is no the difference between Metro and this Farmer’s market, unfortunately…

kunal rakshit

Great place to shop. Unlike modern day malls, it has an essence of community.

Alireza Ahmadian

It was a good bazar for shopping fruit.

Philippe Adrien

Love that it's open 24hr during the summer months and reasonably priced.

张路

The best market in downtown Montreal. Honey is the best. All local veggie and fruits.

Ali Noor

Beautiful fresh market many fresh vegetables and fruits good price good service many beautiful flowers open 24 hours a day seven days a week so convenient for the neighbourhood

Judy Hung

Fresh fruits and veggies, many options and reasonable price. You can also find maple syrup and honey products here. Make sure you bring your own shopping bags.

Tarek Riman

Definitely the best market in cote-de-niege, If you are passing by and a bit hungry it is definitely worth it to go in and get some of the fresh healthy fruits they have. They also have a great and well priced selection of honey and maple syrup, definitely take some time to check it out.

Veronica Scutari

Love the fruits and vegetables, but it's a little narrow to move around

CL

They have an excellent assortment of produce, and there is always a good deal going on something. The cashiers are cute too.

Soheui Park

Always excited to visit this small cute market :)

Chantale Dumont

There are tons of fresh fruit and vegetables, including many locally grown produce. Plus, the prices can't be beat. They are open 24/7. I don't buy produce anywhere else when they are open, about 9 months out of the year.

Sam Totah (montrealsam)

Excellent drop in. You leave always heavier than when you walk in. OK. Fresh food vegetables & fruits. 24 hrs. Open. A gift! Customers from 101 ex patriots. Shopped often and left pleased! Wish they would be there 12 month a year! A tiny institution and pleasing to the eye!

Chris H

Decently to very cheap priced, open 24/7, 3 seasons a year, can't ask for more.

Jeffrey “Juge” Gilman

Always fresh and always good value

Valérie Chassé

Many hood quality veggies and fruits at low price. Very convenient, I enjoy going there!

Rad Dyner

Fresh produce is what I love and they deliver it alright! Enjoy!

Smadar B

The price are fair, for the most part. The cashiers are friendly and efficient. Some of the produce can be beautiful, and almost all of it is local. However, there is definitely a lack of variety. The other day I couldn't find any swiss chard or pomegranates there, even though both are in season.

Kunal

One of a kind market for fruits and vegetables.

J CS

Good variety, good prices but oh boy does it attract bugs. No traps either so you're constantly brushing flies off your fruits.

Marzieh Hemati

Small but lovely.

Desmond Yu

Best for flowers and fruit, fast and convenience.

Arshath A Rahim

This summer market is the best place to buy fruits and vegetables that are made locally. One of the must buys from the place is the APPLE JUICE, the best ever. It also might have plants for your garden in the beginning of summer.

imagine a busy main Street with tons of stores and restaurants and even more people and it's the university area for the University of Montreal. It's just off of some Maine Thruway streets and there's buses taxis to destrian bicycles restaurants grocery stores other type of stores n2n Non-Stop. It's a busy location. And then there is that big church on one side and across the street and at the corner out of the blue there's an open market. What a blast! Mingling with the people in the tiny isles with the tiny little carts that can't easily pass each other is a real pleasure. And they always have great maple syrup choices and Honey's of different type and fruits and vegetables and sometimes specials that you can't figure out how they can charge so little. Occasionally I come home when I drop in there which isn't that often but Casey I will come home with like 5 plastic baskets baskets of blueberries or strawberries because there were beautiful and so fresh smelled so good and they were at giveaway prices. This place is open from the cold days and spring and so the last days of the fall or winter makes it too cold to be there. It's simply a Mecca of fruits and vegetables and a few other things in the middle of a very busy commercial mixed residential area with main thoroughfare streets and University crowd including bars and clubs and restaurants one block over as well for the University people and everybody else. There is even a cop shop and a fire department one block off. This is one busy area. I love the mingling of the people at this open market and the choice of the projects and of the occasional surprises you will definitely find here. The staff is fast and efficient but I think they do cash and debit only. whenever I'm coming in back home taking a route that is near here and I use Decelles Avenue, I make sure to take the streets cut off so I can go drop in here and shop. For some reason it feels like a real treat. And Montreal is not short of franchise big-name grocery stores and small grocery stores and small fruit stores at cetera but this just seems like Montreal and Quebec and farmers something special.

Sherrie Savard

I love this place! Open all night! Facing a Metro and the prices are good too!!!I just be careful if anything wrapped in plastic here...it has to be eaten fast..almost too ripe

Good market but sells an unfortunately large amount of imported produce. Good deals to be had if you're vigilant. Gets super crowded sometimes.
