Good prices but inconsistent in pricing, I see some avocados one buck then I see more, those are 50 cents, I buy the dollar ones thinking they'll be better, crack I've open at home when it's starting to get squishy and it's ripe on the outside, but the inside is hard, finally the core is rotten. It is a spacious shop. It has many fruits and vegetables. I was able to get curry leaves which I couldn't find elsewhere. It has a good collection of Asian vegetables, cereals, pulses and spices. The cosmetics section is a bit limited. All in all a good shop.

I've been shopping here for years and would definitely recommend it. One would be hard pressed to find cheaper prices on produce anywhere in Canada. However, this is not Provigo or some other major grocery store where any sub-par fruits or vegetables are quickly discarded. Amazing deals can be had (e.g. 29 cents a pound for bananas, $1.50 for 10 pounds of potatoes, $2.50 for a pineapple!), but quality is hit or miss. Today I bought 3 grapefruit for $1 and 4 lemon for $1. They're marked and bruised, but definitely edible. They also sometimes have packaged deli meats that are close to or over their expiry date but still totally fine to eat for amazing deals. You get what you pay for.

Slightly inexpensive, but ALL (and I really mean ALL) the produce is of bad quality. You can get away with buying a lot of food for very cheap, however most of that will go bad in the next 48 hours which really doesn’t help anyone.. there’s visible mold on sweet potatoes, the fruits are crushed and browning, etc.. really make sure you’re picking out properly. You can pre-make food and freeze, however your fruits most likely won’t last long. As far as service, the cashiers were quite rude and didn’t even greet or say thank you, goodbye. She didn’t talk to us the entire time cashing us out and didn’t even read the price out loud — just handed us a card machine (?). Customer service worker here; I absolutely get they’re not paid to be our best friends — but if you’re going to avoid interaction with your client and the only sort of communication you have is negative, perhaps this isn’t the best job for you? Just a suggestion girl. Anyways, won’t be returning for a while. For my safety and the safety of those around me at home, I would much rather spend 3x the amount at the IGA down the street and avoid mold/food poisoning.

It looks like fruits and vegetables that other fruit trees get rid of. It works if you eat your fruits and vegetables the same day, otherwise go your way. In addition does not accept credit cards and the staff is not pleasant (no hello, no smiles, it seems to disturb them). Not recommended! (Original) Fruits et légumes pas frais. Quand vous acheter des lots, des fruits pourris et moisis sont mis à l'intérieur au milieu et caché par les beaux fruits à l'extérieur pour ne pas les voir à l'achat. On dirait des fruits et légumes dont les autres fruitiers se débarrassent. Ca passe si vous consommez vos fruits et légumes le jour même, sinon passez votre chemin. De plus n'accepte pas les cartes crédit et le personnel n'est pas agréable (pas de bonjour, pas de sourires, on a l'impression de les déranger). A déconseiller !

Shopping here for ~ 7 yrs now. Selection and prices. Its a typical CDN grocery store, ethnic/cultural. I commute from Verdun to shop here 1nce or twice a month on average (way better selection and prices than stores near my home). The quality of fruits and veggies is not usually great but decent enough and the prices are low (depends what youre cooking). Week by week variation like the market. Theyre doing better at keeping the store clean and organized. Be mindful about products with expiration dates. I usually spend $20-$40 on typical visits. If you have a car, ask for boxes to put groceries in its much easier. They dont accept credit cards so cash or debit. Still 1 of my main go-to stores thats worth the commute. A CDN gem. Less than 5 mins from Plamondon metro (Van Horne exit) with 124 bus stop in front and 129, 161 just 2 blocks away on either side. Doesn't get easier for public transpo commuters.

They have lots of great products at very good prices, there vegetables (broccoli and corn r sooo cheap) , peppers (bell peppers, jalapeño and lots of other spicy ones), fresh herbs (kind of limited but lots of parsley, basil and mint) , onions (all kinds at good prices), potatoes and even mushrooms (I wish they had a bigger selection but what they have is alright) that r all great quality. They have good fruits such as apples, oranges and grapefruit, etc. but lots of bad one's that taste frozen and/ or rotten such as peaches, plums and berries... sometimes u can get decent grapes / bananas but not always. Under the vegetables there's alot of bulk buy items that r just kinda placed there, pretty hard to see that r very cheap such as all different kinds of lentilles, beans, rices and flours. They have another section of there store thats like a convenience store with lots of decently priced items such as tomato sauce, vinegars, salts, dried herbs, microwave meals, sugar, bread and much more! One thing I found a bit odd is they have shampoos, conditioners, moisturizers and other beauty products near the cashier. Also they have really cheap nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashews, pistachios 3-8$/LBS) and some dried fruits also well priced. Overall I do really like this store and definitely recommend u stop buying ur vegetables, nuts, dried fruits and grain from IGA as here you'll get wayyy more for your buck!

They sell not the greatest quality Fruits and veggies but definitely very decent pricing. A bit frustrating going with a stroller since you need someone to open the gate for you. There isn't really any way to notify a worker that you are waiting outside for them to open the gate unless a worker happens to notice you are standing there.

One of the cashier staff was very rude.Went there to shop and after she refused to put my items in the bag. I politely asked her why and she said I should have bought the bag, before but I told her I didnt know since it's been a while since I shop there as I have been out of the province for a while.I told her I will buy the bag with my card but she said no I have to give a 50cent since she cant use my card to make that purchase.A customer in the queue decided to give her 50 cent to pay for the bag. After the customer left she asked me to pay for my bag using my card after she lied that the card cant be used.I didnt want any drama in the shop so I paid again even though I know someone paid for my bag. I will never go to this shop again.

One of the best fruit and vegetable markets in this area. You can find fresh exotic fruits such as rambutan, jackfruit, and durian ( if available). You can also find fresh peanuts. Also asian spices. There are fresh vegetables and fruits.. also the section for frozen seafood and meat.
