This is a small grocery store thus selection may be limited however the food is excellent. They have a great selection of cheeses and meats, the fruit is always really fresh, local and delicious and their service is fast and friendly. There is another larger chair grocery store next door but the service is terrible, this place is a much better choice especially if they stock what you are looking for.

I love shopping here, I still come back here years after having moved away from CDN. Exo knows to do what few big supermarkets do, they stock a variety of different brands and products, catering to the diverse makeup of the neighbourhood. Excellent pita (the good type) and bread selection, great produce (things like purslane, big arugula, dandelion that you won't find anywhere else), great cheese selection from all over the world. Then there's the variety of loose leaf teas, spices, olives, nuts and grains.

I lived in CDN 30 years ago, and Exofruits then was a large "fruiterie" and nothing more. I've now moved back into this 'hood and--surprise!--the store has been transformed into more of a European grocery store that stocks imported chocolates, French-from-France soups, fancy teas, rare canned goods, as well as some meats, lots of charcuterie and cheese, and the usual gorgeous vegetables, some of which you won't be able to find elsewhere. The people at the cash aren't particularly friendly, but they're efficient.

This store has the largest variety of food from all corners of the world. You don't have to step outside of Montréal and the whole world comes to you it is amazing!! Plus this store has some of the freshest and largest selection of organic, healthy and bulk food (I have bought nuts products from them for almost 7 years and NOT once was their nuts ever stale). And the store is clean and relatively neat comparing to some of the other small grocery stores in Montréal. And the staff is very courteous and helpful. One day my mom who doesn't speak French visited their store and was totally lost in choosing what she needs to buy and one of the store staff personally accompanied her and helped her find what she needed to buy. This store is one of the reasons that I feel lucky that I am a Montréaler.
