Very poorly managed store. They'll have sale items MAYBE 10% of the time and that's if you show up first thing on the day the sales start. The place is literally filthy. Nobody there knows what a broom is.... The only reason I go into this place is because sometimes they have great pellet gun sales (if it's in stock) and I buy my BB and pellets there for a good price.

If I could give a lower score, I would. Absolutely horrendous customer service at this location. I phoned before leaving to drive all the way there, to arrive and ask for help that was prepared I was coming, to be sent employees who not only smelt like a gym locker room COATED in Axe body spray, but to be told no body that worked there knew anything about the specific product I was trying to pick through.. which was a complete disaster by the way! On top of that- one of the employees was clearly rushing out for their break because I did not get the time of day from them.. I was abandoned in the aisle when they could not give me an answer, nobody even offered to call in for reinforcements to someone who may know the answer or give me ideas as to where to find the information I needed. Wouldve been helpful If their own tools werent broken either. Poor attitudes. Poor work ethics. Poor organization. Every time i have been here I have been let down. Will take my business elsewhere going forward hands down I'd suggest going elsewhere if you need something or know EXACTLY what you're going in the store for because nobody will help you!!

Great store. If you’re a homeowner and looking for those odds items, this is the place. Stock tanks to make swimming pools. Yep. Good rubber boots for mucking about? Check. Garden stuff? Got that too. It’s not a fancy or big box store but the deals are fantastic.

This store itself is nice, but over half the time I go in to buy something it's never in stock and you can't find anyone in the store to help you. Also, I've placed orders on raincheck twice now in the past and never received a call back. This store needs more employees and new management.

Terrible customer service. Only 2 people working the whole store and one is the cashier. It's prime time for meat birds and they never have feed! Never have layer feed either. You'd think they would see a demand and increase stock, but NO. Hate wasting my time driving all the way there and they're always out of stock!

This store does a terrible job of inventory control. If the TSC website shows that something is in stock, always call and have the staff go verify it is on the shelf before driving here. I’ve been burned three times coming here only to find out that the website stock on hand does not match what the store actually has. Inaccurate inventory reporting is the manager’s fault, but they made excuses when I asked why it’s a recurring problem at this TSC. Also of note: this particular store is a chronic mess. Many shelves are out of stock or disorganized. They’re not short staffed, so again, it’s just a poorly run store.

Was looking for either a Milwaukee or Dewalt battery powered grass trimmer. Ended up going with the Dewalt since i already had the batteries from previously purchasing Dewalt drill and impact driver. Very happy with the product and service was great at TSC, as usual. Glad they have remained opened during these difficult times !

It took an hour for my wife to get 8 pickets and 2 rolls of chicken wire. Why? Because the store is extremely disorganized, nothing is put away and the staff are useless. The cashier pages for help multiple times, but nobody would respond. When my wife finally found someone, they had no idea where to look. Finally my wife found it by herself. If your staff have no idea where stuff is, how are customers supposed to find it?

Sometimes there are good deals, otherwise they are pricy, also very disorganized. Made an online order on May 2nd and still waiting, over 2 weeks now! and all the items I ordered except one showed in stock in the Cornwall store.. I called the Cornwall store on May 21st to find out where my order was since I have been receiving emails to come get my items and was put on hold for over an hour then finally told they were too busy to help me. I will never buy from this horribly run business ever again! Speak with your dollars by buying elsewhere.

This place is very poorly managed. The manager and employees are mean, and they picked at a young man with a backpack under my watchful eye. He was right, too! They wanted him to leave his bag at the cash but they didn’t even bother me with my purse, which was way bigger than his tiny knapsack. Totally unfair and uncalled for. Just when I thought this store couldn’t get worse. ????

Nothing is every priced, or priced properly. A lot of items aren't put out, today when asking about a product 33 were in store not one on the shelf. We were told a manager would come see us to get them, we waited half an hour before approaching the clerk again, turns out they brought one up while she was on break and without telling us, and we needed three so we had to wait again. Not the first time going there and having things missing and under stocked. 2 stars only for the clerk being patient and helpful on trying to help us.

Ordered a welding kit and drove 45 minutes to pick it up. Box was broken and the girl that bought it to me said she checked it and everything was ok. Got home after my 45 minute drive and found that it was used, full of grease, gas guages knocking around loose. Bad guages could be dangerous, and the store employe that bought it ro me doesn't seem ro care. I will never shop there again, i will stay in Québec.

I must start by saying I like TSC, however the Cornwall Store is horrible. Stock is usually questionable, the store is seldom clean, and most of the staff are useless. There are a few with a brain but only a few. I shop mainly online and have it shipped to the Cornwall location but even at that the pick up process can be very tedious.

Got a rain check for a heater in November 2013, now last week of February 2014. Called, have to wait till next fall and may not get it. FALSE ADVERTISING! They'll get you in and try to sell you something else.. BAIT AND SWITCH! DON'T BOTHER WITH A RAIN CHECK CAUSE THEY'LL TRY TO SELL YOU SOME OTHER PRODUCT.

Not a fan of any of these stores I have been to many of them. My experiences are the following. 1 always messy 2 hard to find pricing 3 hard to find help when needed 4 hard to find items from the flyer. And dont get me started on the internet site. I ordered a tractor 2 years ago and it took 3 months for me to get my money back as they never delivered the tractor. I think the new name is good as I am usually peeved off when I go in there.

Recently on a Sunday TSC had a sale on snow fence.I went to the store to buy some. There was nothing on display of the snow fence anywhere outside the store or inside. I found two different styles of it in the warehouse. I had to back to customer service to find out which style was on sale. Myself and an employee walked back to the warehouse and with his scanner showed which style was on sale. Since I only saw two rolls there I asked them if they could order me some more. The employee checked with the stores in Brockville and in Kemptville. He said he might be able to have them to his store. He said he would need to get approval from his manager to do that. He said he will call me the next day - Monday. He did not phone me. The next Saturday I phoned this store and asked if my order had arrived. A lady told me that the manager was unloading a truck at the time and will call me later. The manager never called. This store is the worst for service that I have ever had.

They never carry any sale items, called to make sure they had a tool on sale, they said yes so when I showed up 45 minutes later(thats how far I live from there) they could not find the tools I got put aside for me. I buy majority of my items online (amazon) and this store is one of the main reasons. Terrible customer service. Appears to be very high staff turnover. As others have mentioned, flyer "deals" appear to be bait and switch tactics, as they are out of stock within 24 hours. A mess of a store, not including the "yard sale" type of set up they appear to be going for indoors. One store I shop at frequently over online is Home Depot - they could learn some Hong from them on every level. Even if you compare TSC in Massena (realize different ownership, though they cater to same clientel) they are miles apart.

I wonder if any one from TSC ever reads these reviews. Just came back from TSC in Cornwall and I can only repeat what others have said. A lot of items have no price shown at all. Among other things I bought a kid's Gardening set shown on sale at $10.95 on a paper with the item's name on it next to to the item on the table. I was charged $14.47; when I went back to customer service to inquire about it, I was told the $10.95 was their cost. Yeah, right. But even if that is true, which store shows their cost as a "Sale Price" - the biggest issue was the extremely rude TSC employee at the customer service desk. This was at pretty much exactly 3:00pm on July 5, 2019. That employee should be fired - but as others have noted - rude employees seem to be the norm there. I was heading home to measure my deck to make sure the gazebo from TSC at $400.- would fit, but with staff like that - forget it. I'm spending my dollars elsewhere.

I like this store BUT... Their ability to handle online orders is poor. Ordered fencing that they supposedly had in stock locally, got a call to come and pick up the order - could not find it. Tried to contact the call center several times no reply. Finally notified this week it is in - closing in to 2 months later. Complete chaos in my view and this is in contrast to other stores where they keep you in the loop and have inventory
