Its not that great of a location. I cant believe corner brook only has one stand alone mc Donald's. It's way too over crowded, and you can FORGET about going there lunch time on a weekday, way too busy. The fact that the drive thru on most occasions is backed out onto the on-ramp to get into the mall is a bit ridiculous. Not to mention the owner is a complete a**hole! I've had encounters with him a few times and talk about arrogant! The food is alright but it could be better. Dripping in grease most of the time.

It's McDonald's, so everyone knows what it taste like. What this MacDonald's suffers from is that there is no other Fast Food spot within a couple kms of the Corner Brook Plaza, the mall next door. I've often said that you could open a 2nd MacDonald's (or preferably another Fast Food chain) in the same parking lot and they'd both do good business. So that means meal times are going to be busy here and there will be a wait and maybe no place to sit. It has gotten better the past few years (a few years back it didn't matter when you walked in, you were bound to have a 20+ minute wait for food). The staff are good though and friendly (another nice change from a few years back). The other thing that drops my review down to 2 stars is the joke of a kids play room. It's literally 2 touch screens playing a few games that feel like they were created back in the 90s. Not sufficient considering how busy this place can get and that it's the only MacDonald's in Corner Brook.

The main reason why I continue to return to this location is the stellar view. It’s is so nice to sit and enjoy a coffee and look out over all of Corner Brook. The food is what you’d expect from a McDonald’s: cheap and cheerful. It’s always the same. The coffee taste varies, however. It’s not a consistent cup. My only grievance would be the customer service. I take it that there is a specific employment programme being utilised here. Which is lovely and inclusive. However, I often struggle with conversing with many of the staff due to language barrier or cultural nuance. Is job done? Yes. But it’s missing the warm and recognised approach. There is just something about being screamed at in something you can’t really understand when you’re picking up an order or going through the drive-thru that takes away from the experience. As well, the location is not always tidy. This can be blamed on lazy patrons, but overall the bathrooms and floors tend to get quite messy.

How can I give anything less than 5 stars? It's McDonald's! you should know what to expect from a chain like this. This McDonald's has one of the nicest views I've ever experienced from a fast food joint. As for the self serve . It is what it is. I have lived in markets that had it earlier than this location and they are all the same. Not a bad setup especially for the picky . Make sure your order is 100% before ordering . However Avoid the kiosk farthest from the fountain drink machine if you plan on paying with cash . Rarely ever prints a receipt. Overall one of the best McDonald's I've been to and ive been to them all over the world.

Slowest drivethru I have ever seen. They don’t staff up for breakfast so expect a 10-15 min wait and to get a wrong order. Only 2 car in drive thru, lobby is closed until 6:30 and still 10 min. Wait. Doesn’t matter if it’s 5:30- 6 or 6:30 or 7, i tried all these times this week and same results. The night shift or AM shift manager must go! Only 1 staff in the kitchen to do lobby and drivethru!! Ugh. Complained to manager about under staffing and all he could say is sorry. This is unacceptable now waiting 15 min in lobby for a big breakfast and coffee.

Worst experience yet! I went to McDonald's for breakfast and the one thing they never had was the item I wanted. They also had no hash browns when I asked for the McChicken sauce that they never gave me the manager sighed! While McDonald's is revered an known worldwide the service today was lacking in both efficiency and friendliness. I ordered for two people but wasn't explained there would only be one cup. We had to go back and ask for another cup. Then there was no water. For someone who doesn't drink soda or juice I had to resort to eating ice cubes. Not ideal. The chicken wrap was lack lustre and barely had any lettuce. It was not good quality food compared to other McDonald chains I have been to. They need more than two places to order because the self serve at both kiosks were broken. Serving a city at lunch hour on just two cash with a lined up drive thru to boot is poor efficiency. I will not return to this place for the duration of my visit.

Decent restaurant with newly redesigned interior. Love the fact that these eastern Canadian locations have poutine (watch those carbs and calories though!). Still hesitant to use the touch screens, especially after the UK study that showed them as one of the most germ-laced surfaces in the restaurant. Parking lot backs onto the Plaza mall lot so there's lots of parking even for large vehicles and buses. Of course, always nice to do a late night coffee with an old friend (which I did :-) ).

Great prices, friendly staff, has good coffee, tasty ice cream and hamburgers/fries however the owners of this location understaff and are not responsible for properly taking care of the property. Asphalt is always in need of repair near take out windows (requires concrete) and the inside condition of the restaurant is constantly dirty and in a state of chaos during dinner and supper rushes. These statements seems to be true of the location in Corner Brook also ....nothing worse then all dirty ketchup covered tables while the staff scurry to feed more people. The staff are friendly although may be prone to improperly inputting your order which leads to issues, check your meal for accuracy before departing the property. Perhaps if staff were paid better they would care more about their jobs, McDonalds Corp and their franchisees ain't hurting as per their earnings...maybe care and share is a great way to get the best talent....corporate slavery is a huge issue with these multinationals. Also some workers have differences which make their job more complicated then for you or I, be kind they deserve the same rights as you enjoy. The Philippine workers are amazing people, fast, friendly and accurate so please be friendly to them....they deserve to make money since our citizens berate the job and allow corporations and the wealthy to pay slave earnings....the jobs our citizens will not do....work for some of the most profitable corporations on the planet.

Went to mcdonalds last night at 10 in the night after a mike lynch show at arts and culture center. Put our order in the self serve machines and had cash so picked pay at counter, we where there for 15 mins standing as workers walked back and fourth not even acknowledgeing that we were there. I got fed up after 15 mins of being ignored and walked out.

The food is about what you would expect from a McDonalds. Fast service most times of the day in store and a little bit of a wait at the drive through. Tables are almost always clean unless you sit at one that was just used by someone else. Most of the staff are focused on their job and apathetic to customer concerns. This location has a full menu and is integrated with the mobile app.
