Staff were extremely helpful. I spoke to three different staff members during my visit and every one seemed quite happy to help me. There was a lot of selection and the prices seemed reasonable for three higher quality product. I would definitely recommend then and will return when I need more plants. Also, I should mention they have a good selection off non plant gift items. Soon fee clothing and household decor. Quite pretty.

I absolutely love this place! There is so much selection and there is a lovely cat that lives there and you can see him sleeping amongst all the flowers or bushes. Everyone seems to have a great deal of knowledge and such a wonderful smell of different flowers. Its a very large place and so you are never tripping over each other. Enough room for everyone. Great selection and a wonderful team you have ! Pricier place but great quality and worth it.

Great place to spend a few hours ! They have great citrus trees that are in season. Take a look at the cocktail tree 4-3 different types of citrus fruit on one tree. They have a generous array of beautiful succulents. ????

One of the few stores in Chilliwack where pets are welcome. Just... watch out for the peacock, if your dog has issues with birds. ^_^ Also, good staff and lots of diverse selection for gardening and landscaping in general.

I came here and loved the selection of plants and the prices but noticed a very large number of pests that even with double and triple checking my plant I brought home still brought spider mites in with it. There is alot of plants here but I'm very sad with how many pests seemed to be all over them all. There was beautiful black magics but they all were covered in aphids and now ... My collection of plants at home are battling the spider mites even with repotting, new soil, and a wash. I probably won't come back because it's potentially ruined my plant collection if I can't stop this now. **Update I was able to drive back out and they refunded the price of one plant I lost. Although it didn't seem like they would agree there were any pests in the location even though it's clear there is... Confusing experience here. I probably won't be back. Sorry

Ordered flowers for Mothers day from here. Very disappointed in value. Looked like a $20 basket from the grocery store. Saw some great baskets on their Instagram but the basket they delivered looked pitiful. Minter contacted me and explained from their side why the basket did not meet my expectations and made arrangements remedy this issue. Give them marks for reacting to correct the situation.

They have a very wide selection of plants tropicals succulents Outdoors even air plants which can be hard to find sometimes they have beautiful pre-made gifts and kits that you can do yourself to make that perfect arrangements for whatever you need baby some things are a little pricey but considering what you get it's worth it definitely check them out if you're in the market for something unique

I have been going to Minter Country gardens since I was a young lady with my mom. It's changed a lot over the years in many ways, but it still is as inviting as it was the very first time I walked through those doors. Very inviting. The salespeople are very helpful and if they don't have an answer they don't hesitate to ask someone that does know the answer. The new additions are: A bulk tea blends store that is attached to the main store. Plus a cafe on the other side of the nursery. I asked someone going in how the food was and they said it was very fresh and delicious. That I'm going to try next...

I get giddy every time Brian Minter says hello when he walks by – he is our local celebrity and exudes kindness!! Bottom line: these people truly care about you and your plants. They go out of their way to help you choose the perfect plant, they offer extremely helpful suggestions if you have a problem with something in your yard, and they are just overall a great business to have in Chilliwack. We are so lucky to have this place in our town.

This past summer we hosted an engagement event in our backyard and working with minter gardens for the floral arrangements was the best decision we made. I cannot thank Minter Garden and Pauline enough for their hard work and amazing service. Pauline is incredibly welcoming, understanding and talented. She did an excellent job of recommending flowers that fit our theme and kept us in our budget. The floral centrepieces created an exceptionally beautiful l space. I highly recommend the floral services by Minter Garden because they are one of the best priced floral vendors in the Fraser Valley. I can’t wait to have Pauline create more floral arrangements in the future!

Our family goes to Minter Gardens every Christmas for Santa photos, a train ride, popcorn and a trivia handout. All ofntheir staff is very friendly and helpful. We love that we can take our own Santa pictures and even our youngest (2 year old) can ride the train and enjoy all of the decorations while her older sister does the trivia sheet. The kids even get a candy bag once they finish the sheet. A perfect family Christmas activity.

So totally unaware that they were closing/closed when walking in, first my mother was greeted very rudely if you even want to call is greeted- she was told to pull her mask over her nose as if she was a child. And clearly the lady could see my mother had some sort of breathing issue as she does have asthma. And as we were browsing farther into the store after asking a price of a hanging basket and was told the price we kept browsing and the lady we asked the price ever so abruptly said to us in an almost condescending manner “ you know ladies, we closed at five”. I said no one told us upon arrival. We were not the only people Entering the store when we did. And it was 5:06 when she told us this. Very unprofessional. And rude. We won’t be coming back!!!

Fabulous selection of unique material that all were temptation to add to the garden. The staff here all hit high marks for customer approach and information. I talked to one staff and ideas told that Brian Minter the owner is always seen on floor meeting customers and answering questions. And on my next visit, sure enough there he is on the floor. Impressive..leading by example. In visits later i had brought in friend looking for cactus and my daughter looking for low light plants and was amazed at knowledge a top drawer lever of customer service. Lisa helped and took product back and forth to till as well as answering many questions. Even more impressive was going out to vehicle and making sure we loaded properly!

This is the Garden Centre side of the business. Healthy colourful plants in the greenhouse, everywhere we looked. Exceptional lemon tree, line tree plants and a cocktail plant, that suggests, key lime fruits. I almost bought one because I have never seen this anywhere else. Went to minters today and had a bite to eat at the cafe too. Minters is a fun place to go and they have a good selection of plants and knowledgeable staff. Me and my wife love it there. They also have a cat that hangs out there as well. I don’t know his name but he is adorable.

So, this was my first time here. Minter has a great reputation and the perennial selection didn't disappoint. I found there were a lot more of the wild flowers like foxglove, coneflowers, lupins, heather and lavender than nurserys closer to Vancouver. It was pretty exciting. We didn't look at annuals or trees so I'm not sure of their selection. Parking lot is massive, not hard to get to if you're in the valley, and the premises is large and has lots of garden accoutrements outside of plants. Mosquitoes were brutal: location is next to the slough or river so it was a feeding fest as we came in summer clothes with skin showing. It was awful so we got our perennials and got out. No looking around or browsing.

Great selection of plants which are not so common at other nurseries. However, this place has pretty premium pricing... Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful wherever possible. Minter Country Garden also has lots of other stuff besides plants. There are garden and outdoor accents, indoor and outdoor garden supplies, seasonal specialties and florist shop for when you're in the doghouse with the wife. If going here in the Christmas season, Minters has a miniature train (small charge) set up that takes you through a decent lights display INSIDE the greenhouse... So you can be dry even on the most miserable day... There is also a minutes village setup which is quite elaborate.

I called with no notice in hopes they’d carry a flower, that would come back yearly, and have the name of our family dog who passed away just yesterday. Whenever I’m in Chilliwack I always make sure to visit Minter Country Gardens! Coming from snowy Alberta, it’s refreshing to walk into a garden center that’s always fully vibrant with healthy and beautiful plants. The staff are always very helpful and knowledgeable. If you need a gift for someone special, they have all sorts of neat options that you will see when you first walk in. Or you could stop in at the Aromatica tea shop located conveniently inside the garden centre. Plus if you go around lunch you can enjoy a coffee or some delicious food from the cafes. You definitely won’t be disappointed stopping in, even if you are just walking through to admire the flowers!
