Great food and made with quality products. Little pricey and grumpy staff.
We picked up breakfast from the Harvest Cafe and it was a fabulous! The crab avocado Benny was mind-blowing! And did not last more than three minutes in front of me! Would recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good food and good service!
They make a lovely Americano, the crema is always silky smooth. It's the only thing I ever order when I go out for coffee and theirs is consistently delicious!
Service
Absolutely love all their baked goods! Just wish they had more assessable hours.
Delicious food, good coffee and tasty pastries. Loved finding this place! Will defo be back next time we are out this way.
Awesome food and the pastries are great! Good coffee, big menue with great food, its my Wifes favorite place for breakfast cause of the eggs benny. They have a breakfast menue and a lunch menue with constant pastries being made through the day. They have all your typical coffee and tea drinks available in 12 and 16oz cups when dining in. Try the chicken and waffles! 5 stars easy.
Friendly staff, and amazing food and pastries, etc. Donuts and squares are delicious and fresh, and the Quebecois (maple bacon) poutine is the best I've had in 12 years (when I was last in Quebec)! Definitely coming back again.
We came here for breakfast one sunny Saturday, and while I enjoyed my food I feel like there were some missed opportunities. First - kudos for offering a vegan option, plus several vegetarian options. Both my partner and I are vegetarian, for what its worth... I ordered the vegan hash, and while the ingredients were fresh and tasty, it could use some upgrades. First - seasoning. People think vegan food is bland and boring for the same reason they'd think non-vegan food is bland and boring - lack of seasoning. I ended up adding quite a bit of salt and pepper, but this dish could be elevated with the use of herbs and spices. Literally anything will do, but may I recommend something along the lines of garlic and/or oregano? Second - the bread came without any spread. It would have been nice to have known that so I could have ordered a side of avocado or something so I'm not eating dry bread. The bread was tasty though. Third - you have tofu on the menu, why not add it to this breakfast (either grilled or scrambled... and seasoned)? Or at least have it as an option. Potatoes and veggies don't have much staying power and I was hungry not too long after. I also ordered a doughnut. It was okay. Not bad, but not that great either and I probably wouldn't order it again. We are not from the area, so were we to return to Chilliwack, we would probably choose something else for variety's sake, unless there was something new added to the menu that we had to try.
It's the best
Food was ok. Paid 15$ for a small portion of potatoes and barely any vegetables. Taste was not bad. Took 25 mins to get an easily prepared dish. Staff, one person was rude, the other was nice. Wouldn't go again .
Great donuts and food.
Great food ,great service, love it
West Coast Benny. Chutney Wrap. Breakfast gumbo. Some of the best (and most unique) breakfast options in town.
It was very busy. Lots of attentive staff. Eggs benny was fabulous!! Took a few donuts home. They as well were delicious. Will definitely return.
Ok we had the farmers mistress... absolutely totally. . Delightful decadent delicious. Lovely ladies served it up in a short time.
Amazing breakfast. Delicious goodies
Tasty food, good coffee and nice atmosphere. The hot chocolate (choice of dark, milk and white) was exceptionally delicious.
I think the service and food are great!
Excellent donuts and breakfast spot! Have been back many times. Child friendly too!
Lovely cafe. Staff was polite and helpful. Had an excellent London fog. Meal was very delicious.
Great food with lots of healthy options. Awesome choices of desserts. Been there twice and will definitely go again! ????
Good food. Little pricy. Service is quick. Friendly atmosphere.
Needed to get some work done in Chilliwack and happened across this place by accident. The food here is fantastic and the staff are incredibly welcoming. Plenty of seating and a very great feel to the space. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone.
Used to be my go to... Sadly I'm so disappointed. With all the ingredients in here it is not $10 worth. I swear the last time I ordered it there was hashbrowns with it. I do like the friendly vibes there and the staff are awesome but you need to either make the meals more affordable or add more to it. Manger needs to fix this.
Beautiful hidden gem, didn't have any food but everything looked really nice with Gluten-free and Vegan options aplenty. Drinks were well-made and served with a smile.
Pastries to die for. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always a welcomed face
Love! Favourite local food spot.
The Eggs benny was amazing. Charging $2 for a refill of drip coffee after paying $32 for breakfast is not cool.
Found a few goodies for my wife (peanut allergies) and myself. I went for the creative peanut butter and roasted garlic cookie after having a sample. Mind blowing....
Brunch
If you live in Chilliwack and haven't been here, you are missing out. Come for the fresh donuts, delicious coffee (roasted by parallel 49 in vancouver!), or grab a meal! The waffles are superb, but you cant go wrong with any menu item. Their specials are a fun addition too! Last time I went with a friend and we had pumpkin spice waffles. They usually have a sweet and savory version of the specials.
Such a great little place for some amazing food, coffee and chit-chat.
Bland options aside from a couple baked goods, over priced van/city pricing, can see the staff slave for nothing and you'll be on the receiving end of the attitude.. don't support bad employment, go elsewhere.
I really like coming here for a cup of coffee and donut with my grandkids. It can be busy. But the coffee is good and the donuts are excellent. Great atmosphere friendly people good prices. I haven't tried much on the menu but it sure looks good. Very nice location on Mill Street. I'll keep coming back!!!
Always friendly staff and fresh and flavorful food and drink!
Wonderful food and friendly people. A great casual stop for lunch. A little more than a lot of places price wise but for REAL food I would expect that.
Delicious vegan food and drinks.
The food was absolutely amazing! My first time there but won't be my last! Good food, good service!!
Worst sandwitch ever, the the chicken was horrible, not fresh
My first visit. Love the variety of vegan treats!! Hope to see the number of vegan items increase over time. Perhaps vegan croissants. Vegan focaccia is amazing!!!
One of the best grilled cheese that I've had! Great comfort food.
Helpful, friendly staff. Great food, lots of options! Really good coffee.
A cute little place with good food and excellent baked items. I would like to see them drop the knick nacks so they have more seats... Then maybe open up for dinner.
Friendly staff, amazing eggs benny...and OMG the doughnuts!!! Will definitely be going back again and again ????
Over priced and not great. Cute little place though.
Amazing cinnamon buns, coffee is great, staff is exceptional. Highly recommend!
Been here multiple times. Food is very good. I will be back again. Interesting maple bacon donuts. If you have ever eaten bacon and pancakes with maple syrup you get the idea of the taste.
Amazing coffee, food and pleasant service
Charming staff, patio seating a plus due to covid mandates, the food was amazing.. perfectly portioned wooden utensils, which brought me delight as i had never seen this eco friendly option in chilliwack before
Great staff, atmosphere is great. Prices are good for how healthy the food is, meaning it doesn't sit bad like fried food. Some is vegan too. I can't wait to try their hot food dishes.
Cute space with good food and drinks!
Great service! Great food! Great coffee! Great people!
Its one star short because its pretty pricy.....freaking delicious but pricy for such small portions that you will never wait under half an hour to eat.
Good food, usually speedy service. Nice location, especially if you want a Pokestop nearby
We ate at the sidewalk table. Inside was loud and echoey. Had there been seating inside we would not have been able to hear each other visit. I know, we're older. If cozy is what you're expecting, this is not it. Very interesting menu though. Easy to find something good to eat.
The staff are always friendly and the drinks are always delicious and well made. Their donuts are also pretty fantastic.
Revisited the Harvest cafe for the first time in a long while, with my sister. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the food. The strawberry shortcake waffle was lukewarm and soggy, and folded in half and stuffed with a cold, pudding mixture. The texture was off-putting and the flavor was bland. The chicken and waffle came with spicy chicken, which was not advertised on the menu. It was also seasoned with rosemary which tasted awful with the sweetness of the waffle and syrup. Altogether we were very disappointed at paying around $16.00 each for meals that were not good at all.
So delicious! Great customer service! Lovely people. I'll be back for sure. Cheers
Cozy cafe in Chilliwack to have coffee, breakfast or just a sweet snack and enjoy a chill environment. It's not expensive at all considering the size of the plates!
Love their vegan Fridays!
Good donuts, cute little place. Some tables outside in the morning sun. Also the pink lemonade was good!
Really love the food. Great atmosphere. Maple bacon donuts are the best.
Thanks in advance to gramma for yet again treating me to a brunch date. Absolutely no decor here to speak of, but that's what makes it cool, I suppose. There was an empty shelf on the wall that caught my eye mostly. The food was pretty middle of the road; the wrap seemed like something I could've got at Costco, and $2+ for a coffee refill?!! There must be some mistake here! They have a great amount of space which I don't think they're utilizing very well. I guess it was fun that the tables were thus configured as it affords some sense of privacy through spaciousness but I was a little disappointed to see a single mom with some rambunctious kids in one corner, and a tattooed and pierced couple making out in another. My grandmother and I opted for seating on the far side. I can't hold the restaurant responsible for the clientele though, as in fact I'm also a tattooed and pierced single parent. It may in fact be the demographic they're aiming for. My grandmother likes the place but I think we'll usually stick to our usual haunts in Sardis :)
A little gem in Chilliwack, it has all you could wish for from a breakfast/brunch & coffee place. The menu is generous and the food is delicious. It is wholesome and has a nice environment if you want to get a little work done on your computer. The fancy pants breakfast sandwich is particularly good. It also has a range of ready to go bakery and some limited outdoor seating. A must visit in Chilliwack.
Best breakfast food! Love that there are vegan options.
Beautiful eggs Benny with great coffee and pastries . ALL covid protocols followed ! Would defo recommend
Great food and service.
Bbq brisket Benny... And caramel lattes... AMAZING!!! Great service.
Meal type
This is a great little spot in Chilliwack if you're looking to avoid large chains like IHOP and Ricky's for somewhere with real food, vegan options and better coffee. I've been here a handful of times and it's always been a good experience, whether it was busy or not. However, this morning I ordered my eggs scrambled and they were less than subpar at best and reminiscent of scrambled eggs your Mum would make for you at home in the microwave. My friend got the asparagus benny and it was amazing. So go to this place, just don't order your eggs scrambled.
Love the Harvest and their staff! I live at the other end of Chilliwack and try to get there when I can. One criticism, but it’s my personal taste. Their date squares are much too sweet…. Dates taste like brown sugar! Some orange juice and orange zest is all the dates need. But I’ll still be coming back!
I love mill street and this is one of the best parts. The food and coffee is outstanding
My favourite restaurant in Chilliwack! Super friendly staff, food is amazing! Lots of vegetarian and vegan options which is so rare.
I felt like I was in Vancouver or Victoria when I walked in there. Super trendy and pricey for Chilliwack but good food and coffee and really fantastic looking baked goods.
imagine paying $4.15 for one of their "fresh baked goods" thats 5 days old... that dream becomes a reality at harvest cafe
Really cute little cafe with good coffee and fresh, delicious food!
I like the atmosphere of this place. I have never tried the pastries. The sandwiches are good. The staff aren't very friendly. They seem rushed when they take the order, but it takes them a long time to deliver the food. All in all, it's an ok place to have a brunch or lunch.
One of my favourite places to eat; very tasty!
Nice place, food is pretty good but a little inconsistent...but what is up with the cook in the kitchen no beard net on that zztop beard! Come on owner thats not food safe!
Had the only vegan option for breakfast. Was delicious. Would love to see more options for vegans. Coffee was great but refills are not included.
Very cool little spot for coffee and amazing sweets
Really yummy baked goods
Nice little place! A bit busy (business wise, that's a great thing), but great environment and good food. Will go again the next time I'm in town!
So many Wonderful sounding choices. Everything on other tables looked good too. We will be back.????
cute place, amazing donuts!
My new favorite place in the hood... a lil pricey but that's what it takes to get something one off.
This place was incredible. Their baked goods were out of this world delicious, wish I could have tried everything. Great atmosphere with really good food, and very friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back!
So, after coming to Harvest Café on several occasions now, we find ourselves a little disappointed. The food took too long to get to us and when it came, we found a dog hair in our food today and when the food came back, it was missing ingredients. The staff wasn't any help at all this time around. Not good. Frankly, I don't know if we'll return.
Not my favourite place. The food is great but the service is pretty subpar. It doesn't seem like anyone actually likes their job there. Also, if your just going for a quick place to pick up a coffee, it is not fast. I have had a 10minute wait for a latte.
A solid effort from harvest cafe. All the food I had was tasty and made with quality ingredients. The use of garlic focaccia for their eggs Benedict is a novel take on a classic and tasted quite good still. The hash brown potatoes tasted good but were slightly undercooked. Don't try to have anything extra on your food either because the charges are extravagant. Overall if you want simple tasty food this place isn't a bad choice. The atmosphere is nice and the various cafe drinks are delicious. Check it out and see for yourself.
Lovely little cafe! Food was yummy!
Best place in Chilliwack. Love it so much ❤
Delicious home style food. Efficient and friendly service. Furniture a bit worn.
Donuts! Donuts! Donuts! Nestled in downtown Chilliwack this cafe offers many different baked goods and some truly exceptional coffee. Did I mention they have donuts? They are divine. I will most certainly be visiting this place again. And again. And again.
Pastries were stale and dry and waaaay over priced. Don't think I'd go back or recommend
Great selection of delicious treats and dishes! A bit pricey but the food is tasty and the atmosphere is nice and bright and open
Enjoyed a really lovely lunch here. Nice relaxed vibe. Very spacious location. (Was much bigger than I expected) Delicious sandwich (have had similar at another popular lunch venue and this was definitely the better one - not at all greasy) and the fries were really good. Also good hot drink selection. Friendly staff. I would definitely come back here.
Good home made massive donuts! Remember the Homer donut? They have it! Good food, coffe and service. It's hard not to feel at home here.
Love it! The Americano I had was excellent, and so was the maple bacon donut!
Quaint, not-so-small place on the corner of Mill Street. Gives off a bit of a Vancouver-y Commercial drive feel. Order and pay at the counter, and then sit wherever you like, or can! Came in on a weekend morning and had an Eggs Benny special. Food was tasty and coffee was freshly prepared and hot! Within the hour, the place was buzzing and very full so come early if you want a spot in the window for some limited people watching.
Found it too be pricey especially considering it's located in Chilliwack as opposed to a high rent place such as DT Van. The food was really good, we've been here a few times for a late lunch and it always seems to be packed although the prices would deter us from eating here too often.
Food is always amazing!
Me and my wife have been to harvest several times for breakfast (amazing eggs Benedict) all ingredients seem to be very fresh and home made! The coffee is great the lunch menu is also very good, excellent ceaser salad and always an amazing soup choice! Can't say enough good about the staff and atmosphere at the harvest cafe my only problem is it's on the other side of town lol.
Amazing selection!
This place is great! The food is good, and staff are friendly. They have a really good selection of baking and drinks and a great menu for sit-down meals. It would be great if they had a few more vegan options (last I heard they were working on it!). It's a great place to have a quality meal with friends.
Best place in town for baked goods
It's pretty good but the service is painfully slow and the prices seem expensive for what you get. Also, there's no consistency with pricing - I've paid 4 different prices for the exact same meal.
Other
Visit occasionally as I live down the street. Food is always good and depending on who makes it, the coffee can be really good. Downside is that it is a bit pricey but I don't go every day so it stays within my budget.
Many delicious vegetarian and vegan options. Recipes are innovative. This is a popular spot at lunch time and a go to destination for food and coffee downtown Chilliwack. Service has always been spot on and ambiance great for eating, chatting or having a coffee and working quietly by yourself.
This place is a gem!! It's airy and spacious with some rustic elements....and the food is fantastic! After much personal turmoil I settled on the veggie chilli..... and this carnivor left very satisfied. Best part is that they actually garnished w/ both sour cream and cheddar cheese with a side of homemade garlic toast...YUM! To top it off, the owner and staff were friendly w/out faking, conversational and moved at a busy pace that said we care w/out the loud chaotic din you get at other places. If I'd had more time to linger in Chilliwack I would do it there!!! This NVan'er is impressed and will be happy to visit next time I'm out that way :)
Great food! Great service! Even better dessert!
Very friendly service + they have amazing food and atmosphere
I have never had doughnuts as soft and tasty as they make here. Great service, but busy busy busy! If you're ordering a meal expect a bit of a delay, especially on a Sunday afternoon, but definitely worth the wait!
Had a girl with red hair. She was very cold and uwelcoming. I felt uncomfortable and not welcome. I had even told her it was my first time there she didn't seem to care. I asked if she could suggest something for someone new as they have a big menu. She just shrugged me off. Food is also over priced. For one doughnut they asked me 4.45 plus a tip
Delicious doughnuts
Superb quality breakfasts and tons of excellent baked goods. They don't have HP sauce for breakfast though which is a pretty big let down for me.
I love this place. They have amazing food and the owners are so funny. I’ve been about a dozen times and I haven’t had something that isn’t delicious. This place is a Vancouver cafe in Chilliwack. It should be on the food network
Granddaughter loved the donut and I love the coffee.
Decent donuts with lovely spread of baked goods offered. Food was simple and yummy, but a bit on the expensive side. Staff are very friendly, efficient and offered great customer service.
Best
Delicious donuts!
Great food, great service, comfortable site.
Amazing food!!! Went here for breakfast all three days of our stay. Really good coffee and highly recommend the bennies and breakfast burritos. The Dame Edna (waffles) out of this world!!! Ate out on their patio, beautiful and peaceful.
Best breakfast Best donuts Fresh coffee Homemade everything makes this destination a must for when I'm in Chilliwack. My son loves their menu as do I. Will be back again even though they do not have public bathroom. Thank you and appreciate everything
My favourite place in town for doughnuts!
I will say the food is pretty good here, usually pretty tasty. Although don’t be fooled by the name it’s definately not a healthy alternative, more decadent and dilicious. Biggest issue is they only have one waffle maker that makes one waffle at a time. Which is silly when you have several waffle items on your menu. Needless to say my wife and I did not eat our meals at the same time ????. Only other beef is they don’t refill coffee , you pay ahead for everything, which is a little ridic’ for a cafe. Not a bad place for a bite, but they are not trying to keep me as a customer.
I had their smoked salmon hash on the first day and it was well worth it! They even checked in later to see what I thought of it. Great customer service. Not a dud in the bunch!
Good coffee, high volume, decent treats and decent atmosphere. Larger space, bigger tables, not a great place for quiet. No wifi either. Good, better than average but not mind blowing. Fairly quick service. Friendly staff.
Great atmosphere. Love the staff. Good food.
I just love it!! Everyone is so polite and the atmosphere is so chill!! Food is so amazing and unique
Awesome every time. So much to try.
Dine in
Used to be better. Long wait times for food. Coffee not always fresh. No sense of staff organization and leadership.
The best breakfast ever. I am never disappointed when I visit Harvest Store & Cafe.
Good food, wish dine in was available as it is so much waste on the to-go packaging. Also the food is bit pricey - 1 piece of foccacia with egg for $20... yikes
Good Mocca but no wifi and pretty Loud
This place is sooooooo good!!! Their breakfast menu is off the charts!!!! Great atmosphere on Mill Street. Support local small businesses everyone!!!!!
The #1 reason for hitting up Mill Street Village!
I have tried many times to eat here, every time they are closed...even when posted store hours would have them be open. Finally made it there and the sevice/barista helping us seemed unfriendly and wanting to hurry us along. Strange really as was not busy, had no tables to service people inside and at the moment appears to have zero food menu options, just the counter baked goods and coffees. Perhaps we will try again when it running more up to par, the past images on fb make it look like it would be a delicious place to eat, but we didn't have that choice. Also we all picked donuts, and frankly there are better gourmet donuts in chilliwack. We prefer cabin fever junction bakery for the donuts for sure.
Quick and friendly service. Their food is always good, and their coffee is the best. My favourite joke so far: Q: What do you call sad coffee? A: A Depresso! Edit: totally love the new board dedicated to attracting Ryan Reynolds into #donutsforryanreynolds
worth the detour - great coffee, treats and service!
close to the park, friendly folks, enjoy the outside patio. Great food.
Very expensive and slow. They desperately need a POS system to move things along. Waited 20 minutes for coffee and 45 for a soggy eggs benny with cold hash browns. It does have a cute vibe though.
Pricey, but perfect Sunday morning food.
Honestly the food probably would have been good. Unfortunatly they are operating under take out rules so no washroom service as we found out waiting for our $40 breakfast. They offer outdoor seating and serve full meals which it seems to me difficult to justify a takeout only establishment with no washroom service. Regardless we were told twice no service, the owner had obviously had the conversation with past customers as she was a bit rude. This is classic wanting it both ways, sell full priced meals without needing to maintain a washroom facility.
Friendly staff and tasty treats!
Friendly staff and clean place, except some dishes laying around for a while, but the prices are too high for what you get. Unfortunately it's becoming the norm. Take a look at the ingredients and asks yourself how much would it costs to make it at home. Now I am well aware that there are operating costs, lease payments, utilities and etc etc... but something needs another look. The food itself was decent but the lemon bar... dont call it a lemon bar if it's missing the star ingredient... it just tasted like a streusel cake without the streusel. No lemon flavour whatsoever. Washrooms were clean though.
Good vibes, great coffee. Absolutely ridiculous bacon Maple doughnut.
This place is delicious! The dark chocolate mocha is fantastic! I had the roasted veggie wrap (although I believe I had it in sandwich form) and it was so delicious! A pleasant surprise was that their house salad was fantastic, much better than most boring house salads you get at restaurants. A must try!
Get your caffeine and sugar fix here! Awesome donuts and treats. Looking forward to them opening for full dining again one day!
Awesome chorizo brunch. Fresh and tasty. Large portion.
This is the perfect place for coffee, snacks, and breakfast. The atmosphere is super chill, the staff here are incredible, and the food is absolutely delicious. I found he prices on some of the food to be on the pricey side, but the quality makes it worth your while. Its located in the heart of downtown Chilliwack so its perfect for tourist and locals.
Loved the glaze donut and the chutney chicken wrap
Great little cafe. Food is good, atmosphere is relaxing.
Sooo good! I love this place, one of the first cafes I went to in Chilliwack when I moved here so it holds a special place in my heart. I highly recommend this place to all friends when they are in the area. My man and I came here for a brunch. Staff was super friendly and helpful! We both got bennies. They used to have one with crab and Avocado which was to die for, so I was a little sad that it wasn't on the menu anymore, but none the less, the classic Benny was a great substitute! My bf had the Cali Benny and we shared a oatmilk caramel latte. Super yummy food! Thank you staff at the Harvest Cafe!!
Delicious food. Staff is very friendly.
Food was poor, service was terrible juice was served with floaters and a lone eyelash. Was my first time in.. and we won't be going back. Looking for coffee and desert.. coffee was good and the deserts looked good.. didn't eat any though...
Cute cafe, great food, great value and lovely atmosphere. The service is a bit slow but the great food made up for it!
The best donut I have had in years.
Lots of great pastries. I had the tiramisu waffles and was happy
My favorite coffee shop in Chilliwack and they make the BEST donuts.
Great coffee and the best real donuts in town. Lots of other goodies too. Love Harvest Cafe.
Wonderful fresh sandwiches, fresh bread and grease handmade desserts! Great location!
Like Starbucks, only without the 'corporate' coffee chain feel. Highly enjoyable atmosphere
We go here for breakfast all the time, they have great food and a wide selection of teas. Also very friendly staff.
Excellent food, fine ingredients and home made taste.
Great food and good atmosphere. Servers were great and the kitchen was very accommodating. I enjoyed the food and the price was reasonable
Delicious food great service
Delicious food and great staff
Pretty good food. A little pricey for what it is, especially when they are quite slow getting it out of the kitchen. Definitely one of the better options in the area and a great place to sit down and chat with a friend while eating...or waiting to eat.
The service was terrible. Not friendly, and took away full plates of food while in the wash-room. What I did get a chance to try was mediocre for the high price. Will not go back.
Stopped in for a late afternoon coffee and a "snack" or sugar fix. Coffee was from Republica (Fort Langley) and the pastries appeared made in house. It didn't really matter if they weren't... They were really good! Would love to come back!
OK, I have given this place enough chances But no more. I guess if you haven't been to many great cafe's then this would look amazing but I have been to many and actually know how to bake and make a good coffee and this place is BAD! I like a simple treat with a coffee but the pastries are too sweet like the bad cooking done in the 60's. There is no delicacy to the pastries just heavy with layers of gritty icing sugar or candy stuck on top of overly sweet brown coloured squares. But the kicker is they are twice the price of a really well made pastry found in amazing coffee shops. The coffee, when finally served after 5 employees had a nice chat around the coffee machine, had no look that skill was used to make it. It was scalding hot. Use a thermometer if your not skilled and do not know how to judge the heat of milk when making coffee. Or maybe concentrate on actually producing a great coffee instead of chatting. Finally coffee was ready but I had to wait so long I had already eaten the horrible pastry (after pealing a layer of icing sugar off it) . My friend had peeled back the thick paving of icing sugar on his "pastry" saying, "why did I buy this, why did we come here this is so bad". Desperation for a coffee I guess. This is a terrible cafe, with staff that think they are producing great products. I have been to many caffe's and maybe someone there should get out and compare their food to other cafe's like , maybe Trafiq in Vancouver or "The Penny" if in a smaller town like Mission. If The Penny in small town Mission can get if right then someone in Chilliwack should be able too.
Probably one of the most trendy Cafe's in Chilliwack. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is so nice!! The baked goods are to die for. Love it!!
Service
Food is way overpriced for the small portion you get. Had the breakfast poutine and none of the vegetables were cooked, just put in raw and the potatoes or "hash" was cut too thick because they were way undercooked and tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp. Absolutely disgusting.
We had coffee and donuts and they were great.
Good food great staff and the only proper cappuccino in town.....
Friendly staff, warm atmosphere.
Good place for breakfast and coffee.
Meal type
Great coffee, hearty food, delicious baked goods & cozy atmosphere. A must !
A very old friend of mine took me to Harvest today. I had the most amazing sandwich and it was a heart breaker indeed. The Heart Breaker is a grilled cheese made with a blend of 5 cheeses ( oh how I wish k knew what they were), spinach and artichoke hearts and I suspect garlic. Upgraded to a mixed green salad with strawberries, goats cheese, pecan and balsamic. Delightful. Chai Latte wasn't as special but the rest made up for it. Almost bought one to take home for dinner!!!
Popped by to have a cappuccino and some donuts. I think it’s common to just have black coffee in North America, so I shouldn’t be surprised that good cappuccinos are hard to come by, but wow that coffee was bad. It was just coffee with foam, and the coffee itself was so bitter. If you don’t know how to do cappuccinos, just don’t have them on the menu. The donuts were moderately good, which is why I’m giving it a 3 and not a 2. Staff was a bit off-put. We started ordering and the person just turned around to do a coffee for a customer without even a ‘hold on a sec’. The environment is pretty cozy with lots of plants so that was a plus. I always want to support local and try different coffee shops, but this time I should’ve sticked to Starbucks.
Food tasted good. Very expensive though, and it was quite busy with little seating available.
Delicious!
Always great food and the baking is the best I have had.
Service is always friendly, coffee tastes fresh, and there is a wide selection of modern comfort food and creative baked goods. It gets quite loud due to it's popularity, but it's a good choice for a coffee or lunch with friends.
Unique Food, and a rad 'tude Love this place. You can get a sandwich that's basically Thanksgiving. Like, what? Yes please. Giant donuts? I'll take 4. Maybe with bacon on them? No problem. What even is this place? Muah
Homer donuts are the best. Stong coffee, bright, open interior. Really busy on weekends.
Spent a weekend working in Chilliwack a few weeks back. This place was where I spent my freetime. This is not your get in get out quickly stop for coffee such as Timmies or Starbucks- In fact you wait quite a while to get your coffee and lunch, but it tasted great! My favorite was the chocolate coconut brownie. Home baked treats are held closest to my heart. When in the area this will be where I get my coffee and snacks.
Great brunch. Innovative menu with lots of interesting choices. Many vegetarian items. Love it!
Loved this place! Had such good food and a pleasant atmosphere.
Staff decided to complain to each other about an unhappy customer rather than make our order and then missed one of our drinks. The Earl Grey tea they serve is bland. Wouldn’t go back.
Excellent food. Many menu choices. A favorite "go to" place when downtown.
We had ordered 3 dozen of Harvest's famous homer & assorted donuts for a volunteer appreciation event. They did not disappoint! Not only were they delicious, the staff was extremely helpful through the ordering process and even offered to help me out to my car with the boxes. Thank you Harvest!
Friendly service, timely food but wish they would bring drinks to people sitting in the cafe.
Awesome food..friendly staff...treats are to die for.
The food was extremely slow, and the prawns in the benny were ice cold which really didn't work. Is a good coffee shop, but not set up for breakfast. They don't bring you or refill your coffee, the ketchup comes in to go containers. Feels like a coffee shop that just decided to take a shot at breakfast.
Great food and awesome staff
Too nice of a cafe to be in downtown chilliwack...should move to sardis at least
Harvest Cafe Cafe au lait Cling, clang rustle The sounds of bustle Breakfast donuts Coffee robust Eggs benny Running plenty What joy to behold Let it be told This place is great Don’t be late!
Each time I've been to Harvest it takes a long time to order. There seems to be no sense of urgency and the staff aren't overly friendly or approachable. I've only ever had the Bennys and they're delicious. The donuts are good too. I'll continue to come back as I like the atmosphere, you can sit and have a breakfast by yourself and not feel awkward. It's a bit pricey as well, on average $20 for a coffee and breakfast.
Delicious food and drink, nice place to get together.
So good! Great service. So delicious!
Overpriced and rude service.
The food was great! I had a party of 6, so we shared lots of different dishes, from curry to noodles to coconut rice, etc. I would have to say that mild-medium spiciness level is not at all spicy except for with the pad Thai. So if you really want a kick, try the spicy.
Always great fresh food.
I love going there for an afternoon coffee. I always get a toasted coconut latte and occasionally a cream cheese brownie, which are delicious. Great, friendly service and lots of seats to sit down and read for a bit or chat with a friend.
Enjoyed the 1 2 3 Breakfast here and it was delicious. I chose the waffle with bacon and two eggs. The eggs were a bit undercooked but the bacon was lovely and crisp. The waffle was soft rather than crisp but still very nice. Took home a box of Harvest's glazed donuts for dessert. They weren't the best I've had - a bit oily tasting. I went back again with 3 others a couple of weeks later and tried the Quebecoise Poutine: fries smothered in gravy, cheese curds and bacon and drizzled with maple syrup. Amazing! I really didn't need to eat for the rest of the day! Took another selection of donuts away again, but same result so wouldn't recommend them unfortunately. This cafe has a great atmosphere and friendly staff, but be warned: it gets very busy, VERY noisy and the wait for your meal can be long. A little more attention to the washroom would make it nicer, too.
Unfriendly staff and asking for a suggestion for donuts was like pulling teeth. Staff looked like they were too cool to care.
The food was awesome and the staff was super friendly. A great find!
I like their food. Delicious and not ordinary. Second time there though. Long wait in line and long wait for food. That part could be improved. But i would still go back and try again.
Such good meals and goodies!
Comfortable spot, good coffee and food. Wonderful looking baked goods
Great little place to grab a coffee and a bite. If you're in the area and not in a rush to get to your destination, it's worth a stop.
Love this place .. down side always busy not enough seating and not enough people working. They need a new place one with a bigger kitchen so they can serve food faster and more seating for people who come.. they have two cooks and I can tell you the wait for food staying or going is 20+ minutes
Best doughnuts ever!! Seriously you've got to try them!
I love the atmosphere of this place. It’s always a joy to go in and see what creative thing is on the menu that day. All their treats have been delicious except I would just prefer to have a donut made with white flour if I’m already going to be eating a donut, but despite that, it’s all still delicious. Their meals are very large portions and usually very delicious. I only give it 4 stars because some of the meals I’ve come back for have been a bit inconsistent in deliciousness. Doesn’t stop me from coming back though.
As we walked in the service seemed good to the people (of the community I guess), as we approached the counter and since we are from out of the community we were not familiar with menu so our questions was received with a major attitude. The food is ok nothing special. The prices are too much for the un tasty pastry.
Great food!! Food is absolutely delicious but pricey...! No wifi here which is annoying, but it keeps the atmosphere! Decor is on point and refreshing! Highly recommended for a meet up with a friend (or friends)!
Wham Bam Thank You Ma'am! The "Bam" was tasty... Thanks guys & dolls.
Despite being relatively busy, the person serving me was helpful & willing to answer my questions abouy ingredients. Thank you! She was also very gracious when I told her the 'gluten free' date squares would have gluten in them if the oats used were not certified gluten free. Not a big deal for those who choose to eat GF as a trendy thing to do or because they think it is healthy, but for someone with a gluten intolerance or a celiac this mis-labelling could make them quite ill.
Lovely cafe! Have stopped in for a mocha a couple of times, have been greeted with friendly service and my mocha is done in no time! Quick and friendly, love it. Harvest is also in the heart of downtown Chilliwack, which is very nice. Fun tidbit about their mochas & hot chocolate: not only do they have the standard white and dark chocolate to choose from, but they also have milk chocolate! I haven't tried it, but I would like to. Have had their cranberry-lemon scone and the pecan bar, both of which are to die for!
Omg drunken waffle is sooooo good. And the best apple fritters I've ever had. Raspberry brownie was to die for.
Best breakfast I've had in the Fraser valley. The country eggs benny could be seen at any top Vancouver brunch spot and stand apart. Coffee was also amazing, espresso, nice and strong which is hard to come by in Canada. Staff were very friendly and service was prompt (though I was here on a Monday morning). Can't really fault this place, it was amazing!
First time here for breakfast and it was great. Everything tasted fresh made from scratch, the coffee was good and it's a nice, homey atmosphere. I will certainly be back.
Always a source of awesome food. From the unusual to the old favorites. Love eating here!
Dine in
My favorite spot in Chilliwack!
Great place for a grilled cheese, waffles and coffee!
Good coffee and reasonably priced food.
Excellent service, excellent food. We go here nearly every weekend.
Fantastic place!! Love the food and atmosphere Delicious baked goods to take home too
I’m neither Vegan or gluten free but dang, the granola bars are wicked good. Chewy and hearty.
Good vegan hash plate but very small portion for the price.
This place has an Eclectic collection of decor and clothing. The people who run the store are very friendly and the stuff they sell is of high quality. If you're looking for a gift for somebody that is unique this is the place you want to get it.
Nice cozy place to sit, eat and meet friends. Some art work on one wall so lots of room to showcase local artists could be done.
We stopped here for breakfast. Cute atmosphere, big menu, fresh ingredients, good coffee and delicious bakery section! Apple fritter donut was amazzzing! Definitely would stop here again.
The service here is absolutely horrendous, it's too bad because the food is amazing! the owner really needs to check his attitude
Cute shop, nice staff, tasty baked goods but do not get their eggs benedict! I had ordered the chicken tacos but after waiting they said they were out of. Instead I got the chorizo eggs benny (Im a big fan of Eggs benny!) but this was more expensive for $16.95 All my friends ate their food while I waited and when it finally came it was a huge disappointment. One of the worst hollandaise and the overall dish lacked flavour. They forgot the potatoes which then came out another 8 minutes later. I'm guessing this was a one off but I left very disappointed :(
Great food but a little pricey. Great selection but breakfast for two was $50.
Love, love, love this place! Wish they were open past 3pm though.
Great food, great drinks, friendly staff. I will definitely be back!
Great breakfast food. Friendly staff. Good coffee. Prices are a tad high but worth every penny.
This cafe is always filled with pleasant people and happy up with the times staff who seem to enjoy working there. Everytime i go im happy i chose harvest!
Delightful to be able to sit at tables set on the sidewalk outside the storefront enjoying their food and drinks.
Very nice atmosphere and excellent food.
Great place to meet friends and eat. Vegan friendly foods just ask the knowledgeable staff what is good
This cafe is spacious, well lit, and has a nice atmosphere. Ordered a foaccacia and tea which were both delightful. Waitress forgot to bring out my tea for a few minutes... but hey we are all human.
Great menu and very tasty. I loved my hand crafted London Fog. My Eggs Benedict was so good. The location was very cute.
Food. Service and maple bacon donuts. Need I say more?
THE DONUTS!! ( and great coffee)
Such a cute little place! The pastries are absolutely delish however I am not a big fan of the breakfast. They are usually pretty busy weekend mornings so service isn't the greatest in terms of efficiency and speed, but they are always very nice!
Amazing food and really good coffee. Love this place.
Had an awesome lunch and picked up some yummy pastries for later.
Good food. Nice staff
Such a staple in downtown Chilliwack. Great food, adoring staff and owners, and a fabulous location right at the end of Mill over looking the other shopping and parks. Bought a full slab of custom ordered cake for my sons birthday and it was just perfection. Ready right on time, boxed beautifully and it was a hit. Highly recommend on all fronts.
An amazing place for delicious food. A real gem in Chilliwack -- will be coming back again and again --
Great baked goods!!!! Coffee is wonderful. Lovely ambience.
I like home made donuts in this ago. Cozy and nice place.
Wonderful ambience and location. They make an utterly fantastic chicken sandwich!
Who would’ve thunk it about having a spicy crispy chicken waffle?! Well I tried it this morning & loved it, so yummy! Rebekah at Harvest Cafe is so sweet and genuine in her care and service, and I enjoyed my waffle with a delicious Jasmine tea, and a gluten-free apricot thumbprint muffin that’s also very yummy and fluffy! Definitely recommend you try their specialty waffles! ????
Great cookies ???? ???? ????
I really like the donuts here; my family and I stop in to have them for a treat on the regular.
I’ve never had a bad experience at Harvest. It’s a cosy little corner of Chilliwack, and myself and my Wife will often frequent it when it’s raining out or as a nice way to round off a busy week. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. It’s well worth a visit whether you’re a local or visiting. Give it a shot, I guarantee you won’t be let down, unless all of the seats are taken. In which case it’s worth the wait.
Saw this place a few times and decided to give it a try. We’ve gone twice , once for breakfast and once for baked goods and drinks and both times it was really awful. Very cold atmosphere and not welcoming at all, the staff were extremely rude and unkind and our breakfast was wrong but the server wouldn’t fix and really didn’t seem to care. We haven’t enjoyed anything we have eaten from here , the quality was really terrible.
