Grand Opening Today !!! Staff has been very FRIENDLY and WELCOMING . Stocked up inventory with GREAT DEALS ! I would usually drive to Abbotsford to shop at No Frills as they have the best deals on groceries but I guess ... I don’t have to drive there anymore :-)

Decent prices, selection not as good, very little organic products unfortunately, largely processed food selection. The lighting and colors are kinda jarring, still miss the old Safeway. But all around a great budget friendly grocery store. Pharmacy staff are amazing.

Be aware that buying bread products from. this store. you are buying previously frozen. bread. Went to buy pitas bread as well but it was still frozen. Customer service straight up Lied when asked when there is no signage stating it's been previously frozen. Will not shop here again

Been going to freshco since they opened in Chilliwack in the fall of 2019. Been quite happy with the quality and has pretty well all you need for groceries.They have weekly price drops on certain products.The staff are pleasent .We were shopping at the local Walmart we were spending more on groceries.Quite happy with the savings!

They didn’t allow an elderly woman to use the phone after shopping in their store. She ended up hurting herself walking home in 32 degree weather. That’s not how anyone should be treated especially someone older. The management needs to step up and make this right. At least give her a gift card for some free food and some polysporin.

My initial awe at the bright and beautiful produce section quickly made way for disappointment as I continued on. The lack or a bakery or deli department meant pre-packaged baked goods and meats were the only option. Impressively low priced items were dispersed amongst the limited selection of average to above average priced regular items. Many of the items my household uses weekly were nowhere to be found, but I can safely say I was impressed with the large array of ethnic food items. My biggest complaint was the aisles themselves were too narrow for 2 carts to safely pass, so I had to make a U-turn, thus avoiding half of an aisle completely to get by an inconsiderate mother with her cart parked at an angle. As a family who shopped at Safeway several times a week due to its' convenience and variety as well as the familiar staff, I can honestly say we will not likely be shopping at Freshco.

The "security personnel" falsely accused me of stealing something from the store, when in reality, i was looking for a specific item for a dish i was going to cook, which they did not have, so after briefly wandering around searching for it, I left, at which point I was accosted by the "security" and was told that I was not welcome at the store anymore... no problem!! I'm never going back to a place where I am made to feel like a criminal!! To you freshco, I say good day, and farewell. My business will never go to you ever again.

Frescho is a great store, the staff are helpful. It does get busy and the cashiers are lacking but they go as fast as they can. Only thing that makes it 4 stars is the managers, I'm frequently in the store and some of the managers are rude and inconsiderate to the staff.

Okay so fresh co indeed has the lowest prices. Their customer service was pretty good. Their location was not the best however it was definitely enough space. Lots of roaming space inside the store which is great and good improvement. They have some unique food choices if people are looking for something new. 10/10 would recommend the melo mango icecream bars.

Great store in a horrible area... I wouldn’t suggest going at night, as you will be bombarded with the 10-15 or so homeless in the parking lot. There didn’t seem to be security either anywhere watching or asking them to leave their parking lot.

QUIT MANHANDLING MY GROCERIES AT THE CHECKOUT!!! The minute you scan things onto my bill, consider it mine and paid for and treat it as such FFS! Throwing my items onto the bagging area belt with enough force to make audible thuds, and/or on top of other items with the same kind of force, hard enough to damage sometimes fragile contents, it's just careless and unnecessary and it happens too often. STOP IT!!! STOP THROWING MY FOOD AROUND!!! Also, this place needs to figure out a better way of queueing customers so people aren't jammed up aisles when they get busy. More staff at peak periods would help. 2 stars for having good prices in spite of the above, otherwise getting sick of it. Bring back Safeway service with Freshco prices!

First time there for my wife and I and found the prices compatible with other brands. We live 40km away and only go to Chilliwack to shop when financial able but always shop for the best deal. On that day the mangoes happen to be at the price that I could treat myself lol. I love mangoes in oatmeal every morning as well my granddaughter. So tonight getting everything ready to cut up my mangoes with giddy. WELL!! now I'm not only disappointed but angry to have what I ended up with. I was looking forward to having them for the next 4/5 breakfasts but instead having to add compost to my soil. So politely discouraging cause expressing my true thoughts would have me banned from this site!! It'll be weeks before we get down that way ( IF ) lm well to do so. This is not the only store that I have had the privilege of this happening but it is the first of the last time I let it slide. Otherwise it's a good store and will go back to for whatever needs.the little bit on the right side of the knife is all I salvaged and I'll share those with my dog since she only gets them when I do lol.

FreshCo is offering a new take on grocery shopping and I like it. The store is about 25% smaller than the old Safeway which makes for faster shopping. It's clean, well lit, well laid out, with wide aisles. Prices are excellent. They are catering to people who prefer to cook from scratch, as well as an expanding number of seniors, working age people and younger generations who want to spend less time in the kitchen yet eat from a wider choice of frozen foods. Their selection of Jamaican, East Indian, Japanese and Chinese frozen food is excellent. FreshCo makes the newly renovated Save On Foods down the street not only look tired, but also behind the times.

They have good prices on many things that I buy. Their sale deals are also really good. They don't have all the products I buy regularly like my dogs food and much of the wet cat foods that I buy. They also don't have a self check out and it's another place where we pay them so we can bag our own groceries. Although unlike how I feel at superstore, I don't feel like I'm just being rushed to get my stuff and get out of the way of the next customer. So that's a Plus but I have never gone in when it was really busy so it might feel different then. Staff have been really friendly so far and I always appreciate that.

A senior was denied access to a phone after losing her keys. Needed to call for a ride and they denied her, had to walk home in heat and ended up falling and injuring herself. Terrible.

Definitely a more reasonably priced grocery store. What this town needs. Prices are comparable to those found at Walmart and often much cheaper. Very friendly and helpful staff. The owner is hands on and also very friendly and personable. I don't mind driving a bit further to come here

Well I had give this grocery store 5 star review how ever on my check out just now another cashier who I wasn't dealing with stopped what she was doing yo come over make sure I had scanned my pop and wasn't steeling it. I found it very embarrassing and uncalled for I'm not steeling anything I buy 1000s p fndollarsnworh of grocery here I don't deserve to be treated like a thief at least I used to shop here what a joke

Meh, Some of the staff is friendly while I witnessed managers speaking openly about thoughts on some employees. Seemed unprofessional. Not too impressed with the freshness of produce. The organization of the isles is confusing. Bad flow throughout the store.
