I really enjoyed working with the people here, everyone was awesome. I gave 1 star as I got hired on 3 weeks ago and when I was hired, I was told I would not be layed off if production slowed down. 3 weeks later, I get layed off with no time to find another job to pay my bills. Very frustrating as I left my current job to work here and promised a permanent position, just to be layed off 3 weeks later. I also wish that the manager, would have been honest with me and told me they were slow and laying me off instead of lying to me and saying I made mistakes, when that wasn't the actual reason as to why I got layed off. Never received a single verbal or written warning, was just layed off. Very disappointing to say the least. I wish everyone here the best.

I have made contact with multiple people here, as I am looking to buy bulk rye berries.. after being told I would receive an email that same day with a quote, I did not receive it. It's now 2 days later, many phone calls later, and attitude from Jayda (sp?) ("If I said I'd send it, I'll send it, that's it") .......I still have not received the pricing.. my company depends on being able to buy these berries. Not pleased at all. I was hoping to support local first, but I have since gone with Fieldstone Organics in Armstrong, BC (who had their pricing emailed to me within 30 mins of making contact). Obviously their sales team needs to work on customer service ...My order would have been thousands of dollars in business. What a shame.

Best bakery in the lower mainland...the flour and grains are sum of the best. Their organic has the greatest price point...
