I have been to this store many times already since it opened. I was happy with it and actually recommended it. I shared reviews on Instagram before. Unfortunately, today I had a very bad experience. Along with my friend and her son, we went for just mangoes. The goal was to get the 1/2 bag which they sell for .10 cents to fill for $10. As we got there, there was no available bags. ( this is the second time that I go there and they don't have those 1/2 bags). I approached one of the workers and inquired about options. She told me she could give me a price for a box of mangoes. She went in the back room and came back with a price of $9. We were okay with that. A young guy brought us the box of mangoes already filled up. We did not get an empty box to fill ourselves. The cashier quoted us $10 which was fine but I did mention that were quoted 1$ less. She checked with her manager I guess and adjusted the price. So we were happy we had our mangoes. We got to our car and as soon as I was getting ready to drive away, here comes one of the owners banging our passenger window yelling at us that a box of mangoes is a box of mangoes NOT one that is overfilled. He came at us really hard, our sons watching. Telling us off about how we took more mangoes than we should have. For a minute I was confused as we never filled any mangoes, the box was given to us. He dismissed us very disrespectfully. I got out of my car and went to tell him how disgusting his behavior was. How he should deal with his team not customers. This was a very embarrassing moment as we were accused of taking mangoes. Mind you, to get out of the store, you need to go through the register. I would rather go pay EXTRA to another place that RESPECTS their customers rather than be treated this way in a place because it is cheaper. I would not drive all the way from Mercier to this kind of service. This experience was very unsettling and having to explain what happened to our kids was not something I wish on any parents. If affordable fruits and vegetables means disrespect, then no thank you!

Been coming here since the beginning and brought many people to discover this place. But unfortunately today, reception lady was not so lenient as to allowing my bag since it was a tad larger than their bags which is understandable so i went to get a smaller bag in my car with a tiny tear at top corner of the bag. She basically said NO to that one bag as well and offered me to buy one of their bags which i have a problem environmentally, and as i have many many bags already at home. Being a longtime costumer as she knows, this could’ve simply been avoided by allowing me just this one time and advising for the next time. Still a very good place to go to!
