I guess I will start at the fact the store almost never has any staple items in stock. How can a grocery store run out of bread and eggs? If you can get passed that while roaming the asiles you will see just how dirty the entire store is.. want damaged fruits or vegetables that have been picked at by customers assuming it's a market in some 3rd world village then great it's the place to shop at. Otherwise the produce section is dreadful.. Should we even cover the sticky floors or being held up in a checkout queue for ages as the place only has 2.3 employees midday.. Save yourself the frustration and go to the store in LaSalle where basic grocery items are actually stocked

Worst location for PC Express service. Missing items, damaged items, no receipt provided, management that doesn't monitor their employees and PC points not applied. I decided to try it one last time after months of not using the service and never again. The same issues again. I will pay more for groceries and go to Provigo in the Plateau instead.

It is Located in Dorval plaza near to Circle Dorval. One can easily reach there by car or public transport. The fruits and vegetables are priced reasonably (Less than IGA and Metro plus and Costco). The quality and freshness level= Moderate. Besides this all the required day to day use stuff that is used in kitchen is available at this store. Its a good option for residents of Dorval as the Walmart store in that vicinity does not have fruits and vegetable section and IGA is not pocket friendly. Last but not the least the employees are very friendly and there is no rush during weekdays but on weekends there are a lot of people. Cheats: Go to the store at 9.00 pm before closing, they Install all the fresh fruits, vegetables and grocery items at that time. Happy shopping ! :)

This is our neighbourhood grocery store. It's not bad, but there's nothing extraordinary about it, either. Produce is mediocre. Fresh enough. Not outstanding in either price or quality. Same with meats, poultry and fish. Sometimes there are some good deals to be found in dairy, particularly with yoghurts and cheeses. They do carry some low carb options, such as cauliflower rice, low carb ice cream, etc. Carts are a loonie to rent, unless you were fortunate enough to catch a Maxi medallion when they were being handed out a couple of years ago. Staff members are generally friendly. The parking lot is treacherous! Drive slowly and look all around you!

One of the better Maxi locations compared to the one in Angrignon. Decent quality produce, good to great prices and (usually) good service. They price match their competitors Metro, Super C, IGA, Walmart, provigo, Pharmaprix, Intermarche and Sami Fruits. They will do Frutta Si as well (not every cashier knows this) since Sami Fruits doesn't publish a flyer but Frutta Si does. You're limited to 4 items but you can sometimes get away with five. Try to avoid doing your shopping trips during the morning or evening rush, as all the lanes are usually full. I also find it annoying that they close the express lane most of the time to try to force people to use the self-checkout instead.

4th time I visited a Maxi location in one week trying to get the 1.98 spécial on 10 lbs of carrots.....always sold out and couldn't get a raincheck. Maxi should set a limit on these type of specials not allowing greedy people to grab up all the good specials not giving others a chance!!!

The store is fine, but it really annoys me that you need to have loose change in your pocket in order to use a shopping cart. Many people don't have change or bills on them, I use my cards and Google Pay on my phone for all purchases so I often cannot get a shopping cart. I end up going to the IGA extra down the street and paying slightly more money for some items JUST because of this.

The security at this store stole my Cannondale CAAD8 bicycle. All components were DuraAce. This bike was worth $7000.! They hid the security video from me. Wouldn't hand it over to police and the gatineau police wouldn't department wouldn't force them to. Almost a year later I met the guy that worked there that night (he was the first person I reported it to) on a path and he told me it was the security guy that took my bike! I had already suspected as much! To shut me up the manager of the store accused me of harassment and tried to have me arrested! As an anglophone they made fun of me and openly discriminated against me! They told me I should have bought my groceries in Ottawa if I wanted better service!

I went in today. There are 2 sinks to wash your hands. A man came in behind me, while I was washing my hands, he grabbed a cart and started to go into the store. A worker told him they needed to wipe down his cart and another told him he needed to wash his hands. He said he had washed his hands. He had not as I was occupying 1 sink and another woman was occupying the other. He was allowed in. How many customers per day are allowed in without disinfecting or washing their hands. It is a little ridiculous at this point.

If I could rate it less than one star I would with the service I received tonight. Totally appalled! I mean I get that you’re excited to finish your day but to be as outrageously rude, and unprofessional as the cashier who served me this evening was. Well I’d be embarrassed to say that she works for me! Disgusting demeanour, bordering the way someone who is under the influence would act! And dirty look after dirty look! Unbelievable! If the price that the cash register scans is not the one that’s announced in the isle I don’t care if it’s the prices from the sale that ended two days ago, consumer law is that if the item is badly price labeled then the consumer receives a 10$ rebate or the item free if the price is below 10$. Does this particular employee who apparently « knows more codes than anyone here in only one week of working » not realize how ridiculous she looked this evening making a big deal of having to call someone to check the price? Raising her already obnoxiously loud voice to tell people (friends i’d imagine from the tone of voice) at the end of a very long line that there’s a price glitch and that she knows she’s right about the code. And as for the price checker who I’ve seen in the store much longer than one week; could he not have had the wherewithal to explain to this newbie the way things work?! Really disappointed with the whole experience! Would NOT recommend!
