Superstore is a great grocery store. The pharmacy is the worst one I’ve ever been in. It takes them forever to fill one small prescription. For months now the pharmacist has been blaming a new computer system. Today I took my last refill in and will never return. At drop off I was told it would be 15-20 minutes, no one was there waiting. I said okay and left the store to shop at Walmart. After over a half hour I returned to pick up. Gave my name to the pharmacist, he said just a moment, went to the counter and picked up the prescription request, THEN proceeded to fill the prescription right in front of me!! I asked him why it wasn’t ready 20 minutes after it was dropped off. His response “ we have a new computer system.” I replied “you said that over a month ago.” His response “I have to double check everything because of this new system.” I replied “you said that over a month ago, you didn’t start filling my prescription until I came back after giving you more than a half hour to fill it” His response, nothing other than to tell me how much I owed. BTW, don’t be fooled by the “drive through service”. It’s drive through to drop off your prescription. So it’s like going to McDonalds, placing your order, leaving to drive through a half hour later to pick up your food. Superstore management really needs to investigate the terrible customer service by the pharmacist. The rest of the staff are great!

Doing my thanks giving shopping at Supper Store. Found everything that I needed as usual, prices I find are a little more than your Wallmart and Food Basic's, but just as everywhere else you must know your prices. Or even better " Price Match" all that you can!! I found the store bright, clean, well staffed and *not out of all there sale items* by the middle of the week.???????? Being Handy-caped, I also like having the use of thier power buggies to help with my shopping. Overall another great shopping trip at the Supper Store.

Huge store. You'll find anything you need for daily life. It seemed cleaner and mixer than Walmart but grocieres were quite pricy.

They have the best selection and high standards, if you can afford the higher prices {especially produce} this is the grocery store for you. However if you don't have the cash, they can have great deals actually. One example would be they had macintosh apples on sale for .48 cents a pound while Food basics was selling them for .89 cents a pound. Shop the deals and loss leaders if you can't afford to shop the whole store and you'll come out ahead!

Just your average super store. Some of the food items are priced higher then other superstores I have been to. This is most likely due to the fact that the store is located on the North end of Vancouver Island. Other then that the store has a nice selection of items, when I was there, there was a lot of registers open. The staff was not overly friendly, but it's a grocery store so what do you expect.

The superstore is always clean and well stocked. The staff are friendly and fast! It's a big enough store to have lots of variety, but not so big that the things you need are spread out over vast aisles like Walmart.

I never buy my meat or produce at Superstore, I've never been impressed with either. I find the store hard to navigate especially on the weekends and the lack of check out line make me not want to return. They do sometimes have good sales but I shop there maybe once a month. I don't find the staff overly helpful either.

I have basically stopped shopping at this store because of the loud irritating music they blast at you from speakers placed thruout the store . The music they play is womens pop music, screaming and yelling making the Superstore shopping experience a total nightmare ... similar to Wal Mart. bye bye til you play quiet muzak or nothing at all

I really like this store. Some prices are the best you will find in the area. Like rice milk. The little sushi bar in the back is great! Large selection of meats, well large selection of everything here. Lots of cashier's over the busy times as well. Never have too long of a wait to get out. Add to that online shopping and it provides a little bit for everyone.

It had so many deals that I ended up buying what I didn't plan on spending money on. For example, bananas are ripe and its price is $0.29 per pound; that's excellent. In Windsor, the price would have been what it was normally regardless.

This store is good for a variety of products from groceries to housewares to clothing. They have a pharmacy as well. Their deli is great and their meat is fresh. Great produce section and pre made salads are a great deal. A good place to get a quick lunch that's not fast food. The rotisserie chicken is really good here too.

We always shop here because they have the best prices but the staff are straight up miserable. We always try to avoid Krista because she is so rude but today she was the only till open and we had $400 worth of groceries to put through. I asked her a question about the deli hours and she was very short, sighed heavily, rolled her eyes, no eye contact. Finally I pointed out that she must hate her job, she said nothing handed me the receipt and we packed our items while the next one's came through, really brought down our mood.

Do you know the difference taste wise between Kellogg's corn flakes and presidents choice? This is a common question we all ask before making a purchase decision. There's always a fine line between marketing your own store labels with other reputable brands, not to mention generic no name label products. Each to their own, but what Superstore has done is made the store large enough to provide you the variety to suit your preferences. Always watch the layout on the shelves. Not hard to tell its laid out sneaky like. Often the store label item is a little less (watch the pack size) priced and you are left to decide between two different products made by two suppliers. One you will like and the other will probably taste like cardboard. Next time you buy you will not make the same mistake again. I will add that its worth mentioning that Superstore has improved their produce quality over the last few years. But like anything it requires smart preventative maintenance to keep the wilted produce pulled and keep the fresh always looking fresh. A blind person should be able to buy produce and always pick up A grade quality. Management has to decide what level of shrink they can tolerate in order to maintain high quality standards.

Never in my life had I received a pleasant experience while shopping at superstore. While the prices are unbeatable, the staff are unbearable. They rush you through, they are incredibly rude, and get exasperated when they actually have to do something within their job description. Totally unhelpful. I have been going to WalMart the last few months, spending more, but am treated like a human being.

Go in for a cake. No one in the bakery. Paged someone twice . No one came by for 20 minutes. I shop in this location every week (sometimes on multiple days) but Monday was almost enough to make me switch stores. It was due to at LEAST 6 people not wearing masks. When I mentioned it to store staff, they immediately made an announcement but still allowed those people to go through the check out. We are so close to the finish line. Come on folks, just soldier on and we will get there.

It's a great store with amazing prices and an unbelievably wide variety of products, however their delivery option doesn't allow for PayPal transactions. I don't have a credit card and am unable to shop for groceries in person, as much as I want to make Superstore my primary store Walmart is the only grocer that allows the kind of payment option I need.

I used PCExpress for the first time. I don't recommend it. They literally threw my groceries in my trailer, half the groceries were not even bagged, everything was thrown loose in the trailer, disorganized with heavy items on top of softer ones like bananas and chips. They selected the worst possible mushrooms on my behalf, and although they're supposed to check with the customer before substituting, they never bothered calling or texting me to check with me when they substituted my ordered Ketchup chips with BBQ instead and regular chips with dill pickle chips (both flavors none in my family likes). And they substituted my 16kg dog food bag for 2 7.2kg and charged me the full price of both bags which is $6 more expensive than the bigger bag and has only 14.4kg instead of 16kg. I am also missing one lasagna completely although they charged me for 2. And the kid who came to load my groceries was absolutely rude and utterly disrespectful. Finally, they gave me a 3-month free PCinsiders coupon that expired over a month ago. Then I waited over half an hour to get someone on the phone who didnt care about "my troubles" and got an $18 voucher in an email, for the missing item and price difference with dog food. Very disappointed, doesn't begin to describe it.

Good helpful staff. Many deals offered each week in the flyers. Snacks, tvs, furnace filters, tires and car products, paints, bikes and toys always available. Household items from dishes to pots and pans, glasses and cleaning products. Excellent plant/ flower section running throughout spring and summer. A tire and mechanics shop is also on site although i have not used them before.

When eveeything is painted battleship gray it's hard to see the staircase... a bit of yellow paint would help. 2020-11-30 update Store not enforcing new mask requirements covering nose and mouth and permitting customers to wear clear face shields. Staff very helpful in showing you where the item is your looking for.... one issue for people who have disabilities, it's difficult to get a cart and return it due to having to put looney in the carts... as a comparison Courtenay Superstore has disabled the deposit system during Covid 19.

I went to Superstore to change my phone plan from Bell, to Shaw. I switched my Bell Cell phone accounts from Bell over to Shaw. I had no complaints about Bell, just the fact that I am now saving $150/month on my combined Cell phone, Internet and Television accounts across 2 provinces is a Big plus for me. The costs associated with moving for AB to B.C. are far greater than most people would imagine. The people at the Cell phone store inside Superstore were very pleasant and quite helpful in helping me to navigate the loose ends of combining accounts and transitioning me into having all my data accounts consolidated under 1 provider, which is Shaw. I am traveling fro province to province by car, air and truck and motor home; The # 1 dilemma and what turned out to be the a problem of the highest priority is "Staying connected to data" while zigzagging across provinces, motels, hotels, RV Parks and airports. I have to say that I am already so happy with the seamless streaming of data on my travels via the Shaw go platform. The connectivity for Shaw is the same as it was on Bell, only better because of the shaw go. I am very pleased with my new provider, and the savings are a big giant + for me at a time when costs are mounting.

The only problem, I notice they don't have someone at the door to make sure you follow the procedures for Covid! I always do the click and collect and I love it. The staff are always super friendly and are great about contacting me for substitutions to my items. Once there was a mix up and they were apologetic and quickly fixed the mishap and I walked away more than happy. I highly recommend the program to every one! I love the childrens clothes, but definitely dont go as much any more. These workers are slammed and with covid it's even more strain the body and mind. I do notice the lack of sanitation in between customers. Not only is in an infection control issue but all of these employees are at high risk of exposure. They were never even put on all the way as they didn't fit him. We just wanted a different size, and they refused. Ended up just leaving the sandals there because we had no use for them. Shopping for bread you will find store fresh or healthy alternatives like Silver Hills bread. Buns, beagles, and croissants, whole grains, whole wheat, and white, whatever you want to serve on your table they have available for you. Household cleaning items come in brand name or generic, depending on your preference, large or small, tailored for you and your situation. In the clothing department of superstore you'll find clothes for infants and your old granny that will make both cute and fashionable. A great way to start a child's new school year by getting them a new top or complete outfit. There seasonal products are constantly changing, each season is cratered to. Summer lawn furniture and garden excessories to Christmas trees and snow shovels to Easter bunnies and barbeques are Just a start. The isles are well labeled so searching out an item is usually easily done, in case you have a not so easy search item there are always helpful staff that will show you where to find that one last item on your list that your love asked you to pick up on your way home from work. Me I'm picky I still like to hand pick my fruit and steaks. There is always something neat in housewares and seasonal.. love to browse. This is a recently renovated store & the new look is impressive, place feels definitely classy. Particularly the lovely new bathrooms, which previously were a disgusting disgrace. The shopping experience here is pleasant, even enjoyable. Superstore always has excellent sales . Plus there is a wide, varied selection of foods & items. It is a drugstore, clothing, electronics, books, household items, plants and food store. One stop shop with good value for money.
