Fantastic market both inside and outside !! There are less vendors inside because of Covid but, the inside market is year round. Great vendors who are all friendly. Excellent spot to buy local produce, meats, honey, baked goods and more !

Most of what I saw here was way over priced for what it is. Seems to be priced more for tourists or novelty than for actual grocery. Kitchener market is a bit of a drive, but has a better selection and their prices aren't so high.

Always a joy to visit our local farmers market. We were in the area and stopped by to pick-up some cooking onions. Walking through the market we couldn't resist the delicious (as we learnt later) egg bread with sesame seeds. No regrets supporting our local merchants.

Lovely little market where freshness is in the air. Stalls of farmers fresh meats and produce, cheeses and honey are abundant in the open air market. Great atmosphere for the family and has the old charm that makes it special! Great indeed!!

We've been going for 11 years and it's always been wonderful! They're doing well with the COVID19 restrictions, with everyone wearing masks and hand sanitizer readily available. Everyone is very polite and the meat is always delicious, especially from Carl's Choice :-)

A nice little farmer's market in historical and picturesque downtown Galt with a limited but unique selection of vendors & items. The market is relatively small compared to those in surrounding cities, lessening the variety of vendors and products -- and, in turn, perhaps the competitiveness of prices.

Every Saturday (that we're in town) for the last 8 years, we make the trip down to Galt to chat with the friendly vendors, see the buskers, and fill our fridge with the highest quality meat, eggs and produce you'll find anywhere. Stop off at Roy's Roast for a coffee and browse the delicious, fresh-roasted nuts from Sam's Delights; pick up some juicy peameal bacon and perfectly spiced kielbassa from Carl's Choice; some incredible shoulder bacon and maple garlic breakfast sausage from Kipfer's; handmade soap and bath/beauty products from Wylde Rose; fantastic specialty sausage flavours and Scotch eggs from South Central Sausage; excellent bread and baked goods from British Baked Goods or Future Bakery; double yolk, organic or duck eggs from Apple Creek Farm; poultry that will forever spoil you for store-bought from Southern Pride; and wonderful apples and bee products (wax, honey, pollen) from Scotview Orchards, to say nothing of the seasonal vendors like Romagnoli's delicious Niagara peaches and cherries. Amazing place with a super fun atmosphere, every vendor is super welcoming and friendly. I have to agree that most of the produce is very over priced and is more geared towards the tourist. I'd much rather make the drive to Kitchener market with a much more nicer ambiance and much better prices and produce. Sorry Cambridge not impressed and frankly, don't understand all the hype?

save your time do the drive to st jacobs there is very little selection at this one everything seems to be from out of town anyways none of this seemed local from Cambridge heres the list of stuff from cambridge out of the vendors out of outdoor venders we have one thats local out of all the outdoor ones the rest come from other cities and regions and sell in multipule farmers markets a lot are driving a long way to sell here that's not local to me if your not even in the region outdoor vendors that are actually local 1Chilligo Creek Farm indoor vendors that are actually local 1) roys roast 2 )caudles catch (kitchener) 3) charlies deli 4) Daniel's cheese and deli i have gone to every vendor page available at the moment to compile this list to be as accurate as i can based on where they produce and where they make them as you can see out of all the vendors only 5 are actually local businesses and farms the rest are not local don't fall for this buy local because its not local its coming from all over Ontario ie: Etobicoke Brantford and Scotland Ontario to name a few

The worst market I've been to, really disappointing. The produce is very expensive, and not great quality. There is no bulk buying as well which is lame. The whole point of going to a market is to get good produce straight from the farmer making it cheaper, this is not the case here. The cookie stall is nice though, good products.

I remember when farmers markets where were you could get the cheap products because you would cut out the middle man not the case anymore I find a lot of things more expensive than the supermarket and often it's not the farmer selling it but someone with just a booth selling over priced out of country products the same you could get at a grocery store but for more.

It's the great place to go in the summertime. It has several organic vendors, you talk to the actual growers of the food. Lots of fresh produce and fruit to choose from. You can shop both outside and inside the market building. However in the winter time there are limited vendors., located in the market building.
