I was treated very poorly by a CSR/manager when I enquired about testers for the cosmetics. I realize it's covid and we are all stressed out a little, But take a mental health day instead of being a passive aggressive cow to the customers. Also if you are walking around the store with the phone and a customer asks for help the polite thing to say is excuse me while I make this phone call , or be right with you instead of waving your hand and making a shushing sound . Very rude , I will not go back .

Beware of rotten produce and avocados that will not ripen - Ive seen lemons and red onions with mould and rot, today there was not one bag of red onions that did not have at least one moulding onion. I rarely buy the bagged avocados as they often dont ripen properly and remain like hard rubber. The longstanding staff is great , the new staff not so much : I asked a staff on her phone - a shmear? - and she said, 'I just clocked off'. I asked if anyone could help me and she said not until 4:30 (it was 3:45). I said there is no one that can help me? She said,, "Im not even supposed to be here". Wow. The staff at the food counter is great as are the few longstanding staff that remain. Most others dont know much and are too busy chatting and texting to provide much assistance. Prices are high.

Nice selection. Ridiculously expensive. Sometimes I go to shop there desperate for something, and when I see the price, I realise I can live without. Has a selection of vegan ice creams, cheeses, meats, chocolates, etc. Has a cafeteria inside with healthy food. Has a variety of fresh baked vegan muffins!!!

Goodness Me has been somewhat "hit-or-miss" for our family. Their prices for produce are considerably higher than local competitors and the quality is often lower. Goodness Me does sell a good selection of natural health products, however they also sell Homeopathic products, which have been proven to be nonsense. Their staff are usually friendly and I like their vision, so I hope they will continue to improve overall.

A large and, for the most part, well-stocked health food store, though not that wonderful for fresh produce. Also we have been overcharged MANY times at checkout, either with mispriced items or the wrong item entered - the staff training seems to be sub-par. But overall it's a great store to have in the area, despite having to watch over the checkout process like a hawk!

Sharon the cashier was quite rude. Charged us for an 18 litre spring water when we did a reverse osmosis refill. Claimed it was because of the cap colour. We pointed out that the bottle was very different from theirs which she disagreed. Then my wife purchased some items separately and Sharon was too busy chatting with a co-worker to bag the items.

Goodness me refused to let a group of about 15 people with mask exemptions in, police were called, we informed the police extensively about enforcing the law which Goodness Me is repeatedly breaking, and then the staff shut down the store. If anyone wants to go by, I'd be curious if they reopened the store afterall. Create a time when people with trauma, medical conditions etc can shop without assault or discrimination. Maybe an hour a week, like whole foods. Imagine if 20 people with autism or down syndrome show up to shop (ie community walk) and you say "sorry, only 3 of you at a time". This breaks YOUR OWN ACCESSIBILITY POLICY as well as the law. The manager, Michelle, needs to learn this ASAP. These are people with medical conditions and trauma trying to buy food. If your PPE is effective and you have solid immune systems then educate your staff so they are not afraid of nothing.

Great selection of fresh organic produce at prices generally cheaper than fortinoes. Good baked goods selection and prepared food is always fresh. Organic garage in Oakville is much cheaper would suggest it if you are close. However in Burlington, cannot beat goodness me.

The lunch options here used to be amazing. I used to come 3 times a week. Something has changed recently though - the hot options for vegetarians have tanked and the salad options have also been reduced to poor choices. There used to be tuna, and sometimes salmon, but now there is only chicken or boiled eggs. The dressings are all fancy vegan things, but the salad bar itself is not vegan - how about a decent buttermilk or ranch style dressing? Vegan caesar?! Yuck. The labels on the salad bar are never right - a problem for the mixed salads and hot foods. I've seen much better elsewhere. The rest of the store is super well stocked and I pretty much shop there because Hank is awesome. And, now, back to my mediocre lunch.

Goodness Me they're expensive!!! But the staff is super nice and very helpful. The place is amazingly clean and well stocked. Very "community" oriented with lots of activities. Being a vegan, it's also great to see vegan options for the hot food (the muffins and cookies are outstanding, albeit, pricey!). Not to mention... $1 Coffee that's GOOD coffee! (with almond milk option) LOL. I love stopping in on my way to work.

These are garbage people living on garbage island. They purport to be environmentally conscious but they are all about that cheap plastic-wrapped plastic cutlery and disposable dishes. I worked there for a month and made several suggestions as to how they might reduce their ecological footprint (and improve their recycling program, which is practically nonexistent) and my comments were ignored. This is a numbers-first hypocritical company; do not support them if you care in the least about the environment.

I love Goodness Me! Such a vibrant store, filled with food that help make it easier for my dietary needs. A tad expensive for fresh food, but when you take into account the fact that Goodness Me has their own farm, I feel amazing buying food from there. Super convenient and very friendly staff. Not only can you get food but lots of selection for health products, eco friendly and natural makeup etc.

Recommended: I have loved this place since I have known about it. At this specific location, the staff are very well trained, helpful and friendly. They have a great variety of food options, from Keto-friendly to gluten2 free. This includes ready made meals and an open salad and soup bar. That's just the tip of the iceberg. They have household items like soap and laundry detergent. They also have beauty products. They often offer classes on nutrition and health. You can follow them on FB to see what their latest trend is. One thing I would strongly suggest to them, label your salad bar items. For someone who needs to stick to a specific diet, it is imperative that they know what they are ingesting. I almost ate watermelon because I thought it was tomato. The salad dressings were not labeled either and I had to blindly guess which one I was allowed to eat. Otherwise, you guys are doing a phenomenal job. Thank you!

Goodness Me! is a unique grocery store conveniently located in the downtown area with an ample amount of accessible and convenient parking. I must admit that the prices of almost everything in this store that I have encountered seem to be slightly higher than its competitors, but the variety of high quality food available almost makes up for this. I had an encounter with quite a rude staff member during my most recent visit which was a great disappointment, but that doesn't entirely take away from the fact that the majority of employees at this location are friendly and polite.

I went to the store tonight and multiple people were not wearing masks. Very sad that Goodness Me is not willing to work with the community to prevent the spread of Covid 19. I thought this would be the one store that would be safe during the pandemic, I was wrong. I would like to add that I have contacted Goodness Me costumer services earlier in October about the no mask issue they stated that, "On Friday, we posted a policy in which we are mandating that ALL customers wear face coverings. As of right now, this is going into effect on Tuesday October 20th, where our management team will ask anyone not wearing a face covering to leave our store—even if they have a medical exemption". Which I guess was not the case as I have been the the Burlington and Waterdown location AFTER the 20th and people are still not wearing masks. I do not recommend this store. Looks like Ill be going to Nature's Emporium or Fortinios from now on.

My rating would be 5 stars if they would properly measure the ingredients in smoothies, they are not cheap and often I stop by and order one as a meal. When I see half left in the blender, it bothers me as I'm not receiving the full nutritional value! Please measure to match the cup size :)

Wanted to share my experience shopping at Goodness Me Guelph yesterday. The employees were all smiling and helpful; the carts were ready and sanitized as each customer entered the store; shelves were stocked and organized as usual. The checkout lanes are marked so customers know where to wait and keep their distance. I can’t say enough about what a difference these folks are making right now! To be at work and stay positive must be really tough. This team is keeping their standard high and serving our community. We appreciate you!

If you love "junk food" but are picky about what you eat, this food market is heaven on earth. Their snack aisle is the best. This is the only place I know of where you can still get the nacho cheese version of Way Better Snacks and where you can also get the hard-to-find cheddar cheese Covered Bridge chips.

Great place with great customer service! This is my go to place for fresh organics. Lunch is also great here; from cold pressed juices and smoothies to baked and food choices that are just like homemade. Staff is very friendly and approach you to greet you and get to know your needs. I give Goodness Me! top marks for familiarity and appeal of being your friendly neighbourhood store. I've also had the opportunity to join a couple of their free online seminars and they were executed really well. Great job guys!

I originally gave this place 5 stars due to my prior experiences however, they apparently hired some giant to LITERALLY PSYCHOTICALLY HARASS CUSTOMERS (with medical disabilities that inhibit them from covering their faces) while they shop, the entire time they try to shop. I will NOT be bullied and dealt with it THE ENTIRE TIME, just to buy my groceries but if I go back with my husband and 3 yr old and my child is exposed to this blatant discrimination and ABUSE, I have already emailed corporate they will be hearing from my lawyer and I plan on reaching out to anyone else who has experienced this (I’m sure in these current circumstances I am not the only one) and I will file a class action lawsuit against them. Reach out to me if you have experienced this. Original review: This place is well stocked with healthy choices, clean and safe atmosphere!! They do not discriminate against medical disabilities for people with mask exemptions which is such a relief for my family!! Dealing with the long term illegal mandates has been beyond challenging in living a normal healthy, stable and secure life as it is. I’m relieved to see more places abiding by the charter rights and constitution of Canada.

While reading my review Janet Jacks keep in mind we had over 4200 cases of COVID reported today of which 2700 are vaccinated people. There were 3 people in your store not wearing a mask, the store was packed. I asked one of the staff about the mask mandate and she ignored me. So in light of this I am reporting you to the City of Burlington, they will assign a By-Law Officer to investigate your COVID practices as you are breaking the law. You may or may not be fined. Reading a response to one of the reviews, you indicated that people with health exemptions are permitted to shop in the store without wearing a mask and yes I agree. But tell me why one man had a mask on but under his chin and refused to cover his face with it? Why would someone requiring a health exemption wear a mask under their chin? How can you possibly remember who is exempt and who is not? While you have to respect the rights of those who are exempt from wearing a mask you must also respect the rights of those who want to stay well taking into consideration there are more people who have been vaccinated than those who are not. My opinion is you and your staff are afraid of confrontation and your pocket book is more important than providing a safe and welcoming shopping environment. I will not be back.

I love this place. I'm here all the time. Fantastic selection, and staff make you feel welcome and comfortable without bombarding you. The salad bar seems a bit overpriced, however, the quality is awesome. I love the healthy vegan selection of muffins and the 1 dollar coffee is some of the best coffee around. It would be my go to place to do work on my laptop over starbucks with some of their delicious coffee if only their internet was compatible with my laptop as it is with my handheld.

Excellent assortment of nutriceuticals and bath and body works. Grocery and meats covers the basics plus a few hard to find items. Dairy has a good assortment of brands however the varieties are too similar. Growing selection of grass fed foods is a plus but still cannot find a salad dressing with 100% olive oil, canola oil has infiltrated the supply stream. This is a trend I find in all better food stores. Goodness me is my local first choice. Keep improving, you're on the right track.

Lots of vegan and vegetarian foods available. I get the Chao vegan cheese, the Field Roast vegan sausages, I get the juice drinks they have a wide selection of drinks. They have many cheeses. I get the hummus they have great selection of hummus. They have a great selection of chips and snacks. They have a a wide selection of vitamins and probiotics. They have a wide selection of vegan milk like Silk almond and cachew milk. They have a great selection of vegetables and breads. Lots of vegan salad dressing which I buy here.

The store is amazing with a variety of unique products , however the employees I have met do not have a friendly attitude with regards to communicating at the till or asking questions about products- specifically at the food table. One employee named, Krista had a very bad attitude when I was asking about how the food table worked. Continuously, she disrespected me by rolling her eyes at me when I spoke, not responding to questions in a friendly manner and so on. This type of behaviour will definitely hurt the store’s reputation and sales. Employees need to be addressed about the importance of their attitude. Krista seemed as though she did not want to be working there and did not want to be around people. Therefore, she shouldn’t be. I hope management deals with employees like this immediately.

**Be our leader in reducing unnecessary packaging** We're pretty regular shoppers here and appreciate the selection and the helpful and friendly employees. We really appreciate the fully compostable bag option + free paper bag options for if we don't have our own. GM could be a leader in some areas that would align more with our values - for instance, packaging. As we try to only buy produce that is not repackaged in plastic, there's a feeling of contradiction between "health" and over-packaged items there such as mushrooms in black plastic and netting around oranges/fruits or greens in plastic containers, etc. This also extends into other grocery areas, as well. Would love to see that change, and GM has the power to be a leader in this by buying from companies that have more conscious packaging (?). We appreciate the bulk section and the returnable bottle items - wishing there were more. We don't buy chicken from here anymore as a rule as we've had to return it more than 3x for being "bad" even though not past expiry i.e. wanting to use same night. That might have changed (hopefully) as it's been about 6 months or so since we've purchased and had issues. Thanks for reading!

Everyone who works at this store in Guelph is there to help you and care for you. They help you find products, they help you with what each product has inside of it and they simply want to see you make the right decisions when it comes to putting healthy options inside of your body. Everyone is kind and compassionate there and they all seem to enjoy working at this establishment. Another reason I like this store more than other grocery stores is not just the healthier variety they have but their customer service. Everyone who works on the floor from produce to grocery and cashiers always ask 'Can I help you find something?' Even I don't need assistance at the very moment it is just nice to know that I am more than a customer. My needs are met at the store and the person who is working there wants to see me satisfied and cared for. I give it 5 stars because goodness me is a great place and its helping me live a healthier lifestyle.

Beware of their gluten-free mac and cheese because it is DELICIOUS and highly addictive! Some really nice choices for GF and vegan diets at their hot bar in general. Staff are lovely and store is very clean. My only "suggestion" would be closer monitoring of the fruit and vegetables, as they "turn" more quickly than their non-organic counterparts... I've gone in several times throughout this summer to purchase produce and left without what I needed, as what was available on that day wasn't "fresh." Nice selection of more obscure, difficult-to-find ingredients. Have bought organic potted herb plants from this location as well. We shop here weekly. Plenty of parking. Ramp for accessibility, with adjacent reserved spaces. Guest speakers and classes frequently on offer.

Not impressed with the hand sanitizer at the entrance. Spray cleaner/ sanitizer is NOT the same thing for many reasons. I like this store, but I am not confident surfaces and shopping carts etc are being wiped/sanitized regularly, yes the cashier's are cleaning their areas, but I haven't seen any other signs of high touch areas being cleaned. Pricey, but good selection.

Fairly expensive products, most of which you can find for far less elsewhere (and not even that far away). The staff aren't overly knowledgeable, but if you catch the right one you'll get lots of good information. The food bar is great, but since they changed to a self-serve weighing method of charging people it's definitely not worth the price.

I have never ever had an issue with goodness me, throughout these lockdowns it has been my go to stop for groceries and supplements. Most staff I have met are very friendly, aware as well as understanding that I am medically exempt from wearing a mask due to the fact that I had a tumour removed from my lung, so if anything is restricting my breathing it can cause major major issues. there is a newer manager that is very disrespectful, he is a giant in height. He approaches me and asks me to wear a face covering when I explained the situation, and that I have been coming to this location no issue through every lockdown and situation that has happened, he completely ignored me and kept telling me that I have to wear a face covering or he will personally no longer allow me to shop at that location. He's an absolute joke, and he needs to maybe get further training on his communication, exemption laws, and laws alone. If he keeps behaving like this he will whole heartedly run this location to the ground, sales will definitely decline as well. Either train him, or let him go. I will be filing a complaint to head office as well. Aside from that staff has been nothing but spectacular to me.

I absolutely love this supermarket. Goodness me has wonderful alternative options for those who are vegan, keto, or gluten free. Their baked goods are amazing, and their staff is very friendly. The prices are a bit expensive for everyday shopping, however, it is a specialty grocery store. I would definitely suggest this grocery store for someone with a food allergy, or specific diet that is looking got a place to buy specialty food or treats.

Edit: increased my rating as Goodness Me have never questioned my not wearing a mask in the store proving it's respectful and non discriminatory. Having just moved to Burlington I was delighted to find this store. It has everything we would shop for from organic fruit and veg, allergy friendly freshly cooked meals to supplements, salt lamps etc. There's a small eating area to enjoy a coffee or freshly cooked meal. They also offer courses to help educate folk around good health. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The only down side and the reason for only 3stars is that most products are priced higher than Oakville's alternative Organic Garage. If they could match their prices this store would be perfect.

Great location - large store, nice layout, great selection, and excellent customer service. At least three or four staff members helped me find items suitable for a gift basket for a client who had a high number of allergies. They never acted like it was a hassle and they were all extremely helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this location for your health food needs.

Amazing experience with this location. I came to grab a bite to eat around 7 on a Sunday night, and of course as I was driving my baby fell asleep in the car. I didn’t want to wake him, but I realized it was after their curb side pickup hours. I called in to see if they could help me in any way. The manager (I didn’t catch her name but she was very pleasant and had short brown hair) went above and beyond to assist me, personally choosing me some baby food for my little one and also the food that I came for. Thanks to you, my baby woke up happy and well rested from an undisturbed sleep, plus he has a snack to eat now. 5 stars all the way!

I am a regular here, never had issues before until today at the juice bar. The customer behind me picked up my smoothie and sipped it without realizing its my drink. When I inquired my drink, the girl realized she made a mistake and put her drink back (she ordered protein or vegan drink). The girl works at the juice bar pushed the sipped drink to me and signed me to take it. I said "No, I won't take a drink somebody already sipped on it" This is totally gross. And juice girl was not happy with my rejection. EH? And no apology at all. And she continued serve other drinks who ordered after me, totally ignored me. Then she threw the ready to go smoothie back to the blender, mixed with whatever there. At that point, I cant take it any more. I just told the juice girl, " I don't want any smoothie. Please refund me." She called the manager. The manager came over with a poker face, no apology or any questions trying to understand the situation. Just did routine refunding. And still no oral apology at all. Not impressed and probably wont' go back for any smoothie ever!

Goodness Me is my heaven. I'm so glad I don't live closer to it because I would be super broke. It's more expensive than your regular grocery store, but the quality makes up for it (if your health is something you prioritize). If I could recommend one thing, it would be their samosa in the hot food section. It's mind-blowing and I daydream about it very often.

Wont be back. Maskless customer, coughing customer, no extra effort to ensure safety. Announcements are not heard by customers. Too many staff stocking that customers like myself can become cornered with no way out except to pass people. Items in flyer are not even sold at this location. Was a complete waste of my one shopping day and I overpaid on everything! Ill be taking my money somewhere else. From other reviews I can see this wasnt an unusual experience. Just horrible.

This place is an extremely well stocked store that offers an abundance of healthy lifestyle items from antibiotic free meats and poultry to organic produce. Over and above that they have a huge selection of other foods, spices, snacks, supplements, cleaning products. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

You can always find great fresh fruits and vegetables here, but most of the time the cost just doesn't make any sense. ie. Organic Celery was $5.49 a bunch at Goodness Me, the SAME Organic Celery was at Food Basics and it was $2.88 a bunch and it looked and felt better! Also for the record paper bags are just as bad for the environment as plastic and where does paper come from? Trees! They charge .20 for a compostable PLASTIC bag!

Since a week they have switched to self serve menu and the same meal that cost me 8.50 (exactly the same portions) cost me 15.70 because it's now by weight at $2.19/100g. Crazy stuff. I told them that it's a terrible decision and that I'm not going to come back for the hot food.

A lesser Whole Foods, the store had a fairly large selection of natural/organic/vegan/etc products, with a food/coffee bar at the back. Not a lot of prepared foods, and not a lot of fruit/veg selection which was disappointing. Good for specialty products or getting a healthy soup or salad, but otherwise I wouldn't really consider it worth the price.

Went to their hot food section about a week ago and was reassured by Staff the meal I wanted was gluten-free when it had no sign to indicate otherwise. Going home finding out the hard way from a friend who is coeliac realizing that it is not gluten-free ???? To rectify the problem they gave us each a $10 voucher, less than the cost of our meals and said they were working on the signs. Oh and the $10 voucher expired today just a week after the incident. It seams like management doesn’t understand the depth of allergy issues and for a company that promotes health and allergy free environment the problem was not delt with vary well. It seams like they where just passing us off as picky customers and not actually understanding the depth of the issue at hand.

So sad to find out they changed their Free Range chicken noodle soup recipe from the self-serve bar! It went from being such a comforting treat filled with tender pieces of chicken to tasting like a bad Campbell's soup knock-off with cheap tough cubes of chicken with a very bland broth. I'm not sure why they would change such a perfect recipe. I used to get this soup every week and recommended it to all my friends who shared my enthusiasm, but I won't be purchasing it anymore and I'll be warning people off of it. I rely on this Goodness me for a lot of my healthy on-the-run meals, but when the quality starts to drastically change for the worse in one recipe, I have to wonder when it will start to do the same with the other food they offer. I hope this doesn't happen, because I do enjoy their selection of fresh-made foods and it's my go-to place for less common ingredients you can't find elsewhere.

All the food you get here is expensive and you can go to a regular store for the same food and price. The vitamins arnt the good brand the good brands dont have lots of vitamins. The vitamins don't weigh a lot because there's filler in them the good brand of vitamins have no filler in them and you get your moneys worth to for cheaper and better priced to. If you are looking for good vitamins go check out The Organic Group I personally prefer them, and always go to them before any other company's.

Good prices and selection on fresh organic produce. Also, good selection of natural make up, body care products, house cleaning products, bulk foods. They even have very delicious hot lasagna ready to go (as well as other hot table options ) and a fresh salad bar full of great nutritious options. I like that I can get a quick, healthy and very tasty meal for the price of a drive through burger combo. One stop shop for all your needs! Just wanted to mention, it's a beautiful space and the staff are friendly and helpful. As far as prices go, they are standard for healthfood stores but I do find the fresh produce section to have some of the best prices I've seen for Organic produce .

5 star rating (2021-Apr-17) Pleasant experience. Staff in the natural department section are always very helpful. One drawback-On exiting, on your far left lane, why are there two checkout counters lined up following each other on the way out? It is hard to maintain 6ft safely when both counters have customers checking out. A solution would be to just keep one counter open for checkout per lane.

NOT COVID FRIENDLY! I have been going here for years and I am absolutely disgusted with this store and will never go back. Went in the store and didn't even make it past the bulk area at the front of the store when I could see 4 people without a mask. Once pulled down to talk, two looking very healthy and shopping together and an employee with one around his neck walking towards me. I walked straight towards cash and said there are an awful lot of people not wearing masks and was just looked at. My mother has COPD and part of a lung and can wear one for an hour in a store so don't tell me all 4 of these people had a problem. Especially the two with masks just not on their mouth. Some health store this is! Went to a competitor that cared about their customers. This store put my life and my families at risk and didn't even care to acknowledge this. Seeing the other review I just read this appears to be the norm at this store.

Wow, ordered online and going on 5 days with no one providing me with any shipping details. I've emailed 2 times , message through Facebook, and tried calling their online number which says there is a 'server error'. I even left a message with the local store to see if they can help...no one answers phones. I have no idea where my groceries are and I find it hard to believe there isn't one person to respond. Get your stuff together Goodness Me. Horrible experience.

I bought vegan pakaros and I got home they were burnt and hard. Everytime I buy mixed salad and I get home and eat it, I open the container and it smells rotten. Another time I was at the cashier and asked for a coupon that others had the cashier discriminated against me and said we only send the coupons to the rich area and gordon street is not a rich area. I said are you saying i am poor and can not afford to shop here? I told the manager and they did not care. What does it take for your cashiers to pack our groceries????? I am never going to this place again. Their vegan muffins, Carrot, are always stale. This is such a disgrace of a place. To be discriminated against is even worse.

Good quality food at reasonable price! I always prefer locally grown organic veggies. Goodness Me is the place where I could get fresh vegetables and meat. The antibiotics free, grass fed meat taste is exceptional. I depend on goodness me for natural wellness and beauty products as well.

Great store to buy organic produce. Very reasonable prices on most items, large case of organic salad greens $4.99, large case of organic baby spinach $4.99, best part is, the greens are so fresh as though they were just picked from farm to your table. Organic Carrots, celery for the price of conventional produce. My wife loves their selection of cruelty free beauty and household products that free from harmful chemicals. Friendly staff, but products are way over priced and understocked. I used to 100% of my grocery shopping here, but now I avoid it as much as possible, only going in for specific items. If I go in for 3 things, they are all but guaranteed to not have 1 of the items. Moreover, the hot meals in the back are not good at all, and the selection never changes. There is an over emphasis on vegetarian food too, which is fine, but it's frustrating for us meat eaters to see such a small selection of deli meats (for example), when an entire wall is dedicated to frozen prepared foods. This store seems to thrive more on gimmickery than it does sound commercial philosophy.

Nothing wrong with this store, interesting products. Honestly, I don't usually write reviews, but felt bad for all their one star reviews; which center around 2 things. Either people complaining that other customers are not wearing masks, or people saying that they are mask "exempt" and were asked to leave. Dammed if they do, and dammed if they don't. For one I'll keep shopping here as long as the products are good and customer care is excellent :)

I understand that this is a more high end store, but the fact that they claim to price match on their website, but then when I went to use the Flipp app to do so they told me I could only do so if I brought the physical copy of the flyer? But the Flipp app is basically all flyers that are valid. I find this to be very inconsistent and rather greedy of a company model. I hope this review can insite change and bring about a more consistent price matching system across all stores, as I have contacted several other Goodness Me locations and was told different things from each one. Thank you for your time and I hope this can help make things better for all shoppers not just high income ones ????

Nice to see all of the other reviews are from the staff. The dairy and pre-made sections are nice but does not make up for the rest of the store. Fresh groceries are overpriced and under stocked, also looked old. Not much meat to choose from. Poor bread selection unless you want gluten free.

Usually enjoy shopping at Goodness Me because of the experience. However, today my sister and I went in and were treated extremely poorly by the cashier (did not see her name but she had purple hair). She addressed us very disrespectfully and left our items to the side and walked away as we had to awkwardly go behind the counter to gather our items to place in bags. It was very disturbing and upsetting for no reason. I usually justify the higher prices at this store for the quality of products and service, but this was unacceptable.

I purchased bread in the store that was priced at $3.49. When a came to the cash register, I so on the screen the price of $4.49. Cashier called her supervisor, supervisor called representative from grocery department, than manager showed up and said that it was their mistake and he cannot sell it to me for the price that was on the shelf. Price tag on the shelf get correct bar code and the name of the product. Just an advise, check the screen on the cash register when you shop at this store or you may end up paying more for the product than you expected.

My only place I shop for groceries! Certain products are priced higher but the selections are huge. Staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable. My wife learned a great deal about neroli oil from one of the staff which was great. She also took one of the workshop classes by Dr.Hudson which she was raving about afterwards. The produce is always fresh and the food is as well! I would like to see more in the sports selection area cause that will make Goodness Me my one stop place. The patio is a nice outdoor setting to relax to enjoy the tasty smoothie. My wife loved it when she saw a basket with free fruits for kids so our two little ones can join us when we go. If your into organics and just want to eat healthier I highly recommend Goodness Me here in Burlington.

grass fed, humanely raised beef, reasonably priced. Lots of Gluten free products. Good sale prices. When I entered the store I was given a free bottle of lavender oil for my diffuser. I enjoy everything about this store including the staff. There are also classes on various health issues and cooking classes. Some you pay for, some you don't. Good girls night or couples night out or just getting good info.

I was at the store this Saturday and I was very disappointed to see several people (+5) either not wearing a mask or wearing it under their nose, after asking them they simply laugh and continue about their business touching products and leaning over produce. After conversing with 1 staff member I was told they "could not" enforce it. After seeing a few more people with no mask or face shield, I asked another staff member and she clearly said "it is not in the constitution" to which I replied, "there is a Pandemic and there is a bylaw that REQUIRES people to wear a mask and keep social distancing." Third time I asked I was asked if they wanted them to "go ask", NO, it is not my job to ask employees to ask people at a grocery store to wear a mask, it is the store's job to enforce this in order to keep others safe. I understand some people have medical reasons NOT to wear a mask, but I seriously doubt 5 people had "medical conditions" or reason to wear the mask incorrectly, this is unacceptable. Since the pandemic started I have visited several grocery stores and business and I have never seen a situation like this, ever. I cannot go to my home and get my family members sick due to a negligent business not adapting to our current situation. I contacted Halton public Covid line and reported this business as not enforcing the law. As for the store, I used to enjoy visiting, having lunch and interacting with the staff, I do not feel safe to go there anymore, and their response was very disappointing. Edit: grammar.

Great store for those who are health conscious. You can get meat that is not filled with chemicals, organic produce and a good selection of food. That is my beef with the big supermarkets is that I wander down their aisles and can't find food, merely chemical concoctions that are purported to be food. Only thing I dislike about the store is their food bar and it is only the hot food as I personally find it rather bland. They do have a good chili (not spicy though) and their soups have never enticed me but I've heard that they are good.

During my grocery checkout at 8:40pm I had to return an item. The cashier required a "manager for the evening" for this transaction. This employee came to the till and rolled her eyes when I asked for a simple refund rather then exchange the product. So rude! If assisting customers is too taxing I'm sure someone else would like the job. Secondly, I notice "most" cashiers do not assist in packing when I've purchased a bag. After sharing this with an elderly neighbor, she told me it's hard to reach some items and at her age some help is appreciated, so she just stands at the end of the counter until someone bags her groceries! I understand during Covid less handling of products is encouraged, but this poor customer service is the norm even prior to covid. I've worked in retail and understand the days can be long but there is no excuse for apathy or rudeness. ****************************************** UPDATE: Oh my goodness, what a mix up or farce! I see below there is a response from the owner. Nothing in my review is about wearing a mask and so off topic.... I always wear a mask as per Ontario Ministry of Health. Customer Satisfaction Feedback has responded but not addressed the owner's inept response.

I purchase all my monthly vitamins from here. The staff knows what works and for what. They are very helpful to at helping you find what you need for your needs. They always have great food and carry many suplenta nowhere else in town sells or seems to have in stock. Everytime I go in here I love the smells and the quality. Really like the fact that the hot prepared food section offers some of the best food selection I've seen. Wild caught fish, and everything made with simple pronounceable ingredients. Salad bar is decent although pricier than some others. Can also get some good deals on fresh veggies in bulkish quantities sometimes. Perfect for juicing.

Goodness Me has been around for several years and we shopped at their original location before they opened at their current Fairview Street & Drury Lane location. A new generation of healthy eating store that definitely raises the bar on the specialty food market category because of its sensitivity to people with food consumption concerns. Kids loved the Toodle O's banana flavour when they were little, and the ingredients were a better choice too. Of course it's expensive but if you're concerned with food ingredients or have food sensitivities you may have limited options. Staff is great for offering advice about their products to customers and genuinely seem happy to help. Nice café area too.

This is a great store to buy all types of healthy foods. I visit once a week on my way back from work and at times I do walk out with something. Its a little expensive but it's better quality than what you get from other supermarkets. The negative reviews are from outsiders that have no clue about quality foods.

It's a little expensive, but if you're looking for a specialty vegan food that can be hard to find in your average supermarket (dairy free cheese, ice cream, tempeh etc.), you'll find it here. Only complaint; the debit machines almost never work.

The Cashiers are amazing, friendly and really nice to talk to. Aisles are clean and shoppable. Very nice selection of organic fruits and vegetables. Great selection of natural products. However, we have bought pork chops several times and the meat has been bad. This was brought to Mgmt attention and was told it was the packaging company they were using. The fresh baked muffins are not baked there anymore, but are now baked else where and brought in frozen. They were excellent prior to this change. Chicken soup used to be extremely tasty, but lately is bland, full of pasta and not alot of other ingedients. When you've experienced this soup from their other locations, such as Barrie, you will know what I mean! Their price matching is very frustrating and end up not giving you the sale price. Please look into simplifying this; not very Customer Service friendly.

I lost respect for the store manager today. A lady left her dog in the car in 30 degree heat. I told the employee who advised the manager. The manager did not want to get involved and did not care about the safety of the dog. I honestly don't understood how you can live with yourself if you don't help an innocent animal. I had to take it upon myself to help. Shame on you goodness me. Your store, your parking lot, your problem.

There were customers not wearing a mask, face covering, or face shield. It was disappointing to see and the manager notified that there was not much that can be done. It's a disappointment that Goodness Me! fosters an environment like this when there are accommodations like curb-side pickup. I felt unsafe and anxious and ended up not purchasing anything. I will take my business elsewhere and encourage others to do so.

The kids cooking class was awesome - my younger son has Celiac Disease and they modified the class in order to make it safe for him to participate (and they were great at informing me about the changes so I was confident that it would be safe). So impressed with their knowledge and their customer service - highly recommend the classes!

I cannot thank Goodness Me Burlington enough for providing a safe place for me to shop during the pandemic. I am mask exempt and I am often refused service (which is against the law. Lawsuits to follow) at other stores. I am so thankful Goodness Me honours those of us who are exempt (without asking every time I go in, which is multiple times a week) + that they uphold the by-law in its ENTIRETY, in addition to the appropriate sanitation + distancing requirements. It isn't easy to run a brick and mortar store right now, and I just can't say enough about these guys. Oh! And the products they carry are, clearly, carefully chosen with love and consideration. Everything is awesome, and they are a leader in what TRUE HEALTH should look like.

Double check the best before dates on any ready made foods before purchasing here. And be very selective of the ready made foods, prices are high. Lots of expired products left on the shelves. At 2pm on a Saturday, the salad bar was mostly withered up. Maybe it's better during week days.

This was my first visit at this store. I was looking for gluten free cookies and picked up this box. I almost bought it and my friend saw the fungus on one of the cookie. I have taken few pictures and you can see that expiry date was yet to met. I am not sure if I would have bought it and ate it, what would have happened. It's a great store for everything you can't get anywhere else and you can pretty much get anything you want here. The emphasis here is health and wellness. The store made food is delicious. This store is not huge, Waterloo is bigger. But this location is great. Unfortunately there is not a lot of produce and if you are looking for a great deal this is probably not the place to get it. Updated: The more I shop at this store the more I like it. What I said above about the prices, I seem to be wrong. I purchased local organic black kale here for $2. Organic kale at Metro was $5!! Insane! Also Renew Life Probiotics are cheaper here than Metro or Superstore.
