Danforth is my favorite Jamaican grocery store they are well organized and friendly. I love the they package the meats and they only sell fresh food. They have very friendly staff, I highly recommend this place

The place is so nice and clean. Had the opportunity to speak with the owner; very humble young man. Frontline agents are very nice as well. I needed some assistance with yam , one of the young men on the floor was super helpful. Certainly the place to shop and the price is RIGHT! ????????????

Born Jamaican,now Canadian but that doesn’t mean I don’t know good Jamaican quality from quantity…..saying that to say this,if your gonna provide a service for customers at least do it right…I bought 2 bundles of cut up callaloo from here (Which cost a arm and 2 legs)and it was the worst!!! Some leaves were rotten in the middle and apart from that it’s wasn’t striped one bit, cooked it and all I could feel in my mouth was straws and strings from the callaloo . I mean if your gonna provide that service at lease strip your callaloo properly or don’t cut and strip it at all then.

I go here often, they always have some of my favorite childhood Jamaican snacks and fruits. I like to stock up when they have them because they always run out quickly which is the only disappointing part for me. Very nice and friendly service with a variety of Caribbean products.

Cashier was very unpleasant, uncouth, unwelcoming and unfriendly. We asked her a simple question and she just shrugged her shoulder with the most terrible facial expression you swore we showed up to her house without warning. Her service was terrible .....this type of behavior is so predictable in our community and we wonder why we support others.

I bought a pack of frozen ox tail ago but we received rotten pieces that was put on the bottom of fresh ones. Very disappointing and disgusted. This place is deliberately hiding rotting meat on top of fresh ones. Never again
