The store itself is fine. However we did not care for the experience of the cashier we had. We were told to come forward to his spot however there were people barely 2m apart at their space. So not much room to push the cart through them to get to his spot. The cashier (who wasn't wearing a name tag) was impatient, abrupt and bordering rude. Not very impressed with his customer service skills and being younger and the COVID restrictions does not negate the ability to make customers feel welcomed especially when spending over $100 in your store. So something to be worked on there.

Place is great for cheaper stuff. Any clothes i buy from giant tiger actually have lasted just as long as some of my designer clothing. Children section is small but some really cute items. Cashier is usually busy but everhone decides to cash out at same time. So just like a traffic jam at rush hour you have to wait. Staff are friendly. Never had a problem with them.

This is the absolute worst store for checking out that I have ever gone to. I used to shop here all the time because I like most of their inventory however there was 24 people in front of me and at least 30 people behind me in line with only two people on cash. I inquired to a staff member why there were more registers open and she replied “ask the owner, Rick” deplorable service

Confusion whether you que up or not ? Customers were arguing about it in line. The line went into the food section due to " waiting to que". Ridiculous. Signs say to not put items on ,until cashier cleans, but that didn't happen. This is a great place for cheap stuff. You get what you pay for though. The curtains are the best bang for your buck. Unfortunately everytime I've been here the cashier's have been understaffed or very slow. Make sure you leave extra time to wait in line. Bring a book. ????

If you are looking for a bargain in Cornwall, this is the store. They have everything from fashion, to toys, to groceries, and even DVDs and Blu-ray. Don't expect designer clothing, but you can expect really low prices for what you get. The staff was really helpful too.

The only problem I have with the store is there are never enough cashiers open. Today, on a Thursday at 4:30pm (first day of sales in the flyer) I'm #8 in line, before the lady has time to call for back up there are 2 more people behind me. I think more than one cashier should be open or working in the area so they can keep an eye on the line up and open a till when it becomes necessary.

This particular Giant Tiger is situated beside Dollarama and you're the Great Wall Buffet. It's a standard Giant Tiger with lots of diverse amount of products throughout the store. Sometimes I find Giant Tiger has better prices and quality than Walmart. I recommend Giant Tiger. They are also following through with covid-19 guidelines.

If you can find someone, they're usually chatting or avoiding all contact of customers if they can. Store used to be so pleasant and a great atmosphere. Very gloomy and miserable feeling now. Been going here for years. Pretty decent for the items I go in for, mostly sales on food items. On occasion found the odd other thing in here I need. Love to go through the movies as sometimes I find an older title I don't already have that I want for cheap. The clothing is also cheap. Just the quality can be hit or miss. Really pay close attention to it. Most of the employees are quite friendly and helpful but I've come across the odd one who isn't in a mood to even answer a question. Overall pretty good. I would like to see them start to carry more lactose free items though.

Love GT but at this location, the cashier that served me was unfriendly and rude. No greeting and as I was cashing out, she mumbled the total in which I could not hear and asked her 3 times to repeat. Pathetic. She had a mask and stood away from the screen so I couldn't make out the amount. When she said the total louder I said better because with the screen and the opening at the bottom and wearing her mask, no one can hear. Not her fault but poor design by management. Not a thank you only a scowl on her face.

This has to be one of the worst locations ever it takes forever to cash out even though they have 2 people putting things away in one area when the other person can be in cash everything is smashed together near checkout making it hard to socially distance at all or even get through if u decide to go to another location because the line up are too long there's never anyone working at change rooms but yet I have handed in application after application to work here and they're so picky about who they will hire if being short staffed is a problem actually hire people who hand in applications move baskets away from the checkouts please and maybe have workers spread out more instead of two to an area that realistically only needs one worker... also maybe instead of telling people who wish to pay cash instead of using the self checkout machines that never get sanitized to use self checkout you could open another til I also watched a worker sit and talk to the same ustomer for literally 20 minutes .... at the cashout when there are people are waiting I understand customer service and being friendly but come on

I was in the Brantford Giant Tiger today. I needed to get some new belts for my blue jean shorts so I asked one of the employees where the men's belts were. They pointed to where the belts were but there was no offer to assist me at all. I had to call out to one of them and ask for assistance. That employer had to go and get someone else to assist me and it took the 2nd girl about 5 minutes before she finally made it over to the belt display. She helped me but she didn't spend any more time with me than she had to. Once again at the checkout there was only one girl working and the customer before me had a lot of items to purchase. Overall I only use this store because of its location. There is never enough cashiers working and there are huge lineups. I find that some of the employees are very lazy and they don't want to go the extra mile and provide good customer service.

I like visiting this place! Great deals and really clean store. One star removed because of the manager. She's not a really nice person. I cringe every time I see her at the register. I accidentally bought a duplicate bluray one time and came to return it, still in plastic with the receipt, and she seemed troubled to issue me a return. Great Grocery Sales; Low-cost Clothing. Grocery sale items often sell out in 1 or 2 days, so get there early. Good variety of products at very reasonable prices. Sales staff is always friendly and seem happy. A nice bonus.

I love to shop here. They have a bit of everything. I mostly go for clothes and food but they do have toys and some seasonal stuff too

The people here who work here are quite nice and helpful. They are always polite and very willing to help. This store is well stocked and have some really good deals. I've started visiting the store more often now due to the rotating deals of the week. The store is quite full but nicely organised. Plenty of parking outside and the location is convenient.
