A small affair but quality local produce, honey, baked goods, chocolate, cheese, cured meats etc. Some lovely knitted items including original art sometimes, prepared foods and flowers too. There's a woman selling prepared Indian dishes which I haven't tried yet but look very tasty.

I visited the Barrie Farmers Market this weekend. Met some very helpful vendors with some excellent products. However I found it very dissappointing that several of the vendors were not practicing safe covid 19 measures. There were a few customers not wearing masks.. but I expected the vendors to care about the safety of their patrons. It is impossible to maintain the safe 6 ft social distance when discussing and purchasing items. I won't be returning anytime soon.

Good experience. The variety of vendors is pretty good, though I wish there was a wider range of cultural representation. It was cool to see Indian and Syrian foods though - we're going to try more text time. Also, as someone who is overly paranoid about the pandemic (even now), I wish the vendors were forced to wear masks. Most vendors (and patrons) were courteous enough to wear them, which was nice.

The Barrie Farmers market is a fantastic place to find a variety of things. The booth owners are friendly and there is usually live music. Great food, and decent sized. Definitely recommend.

SAFE. This is a great location that continues to operate during the quarantine. It enforces all the necessary safety measures, so only the outside area is open. Great selection, fresh produce and meat, friendly service. Cannot wait for the quarantine to be over, so we can check out the full scale market!

We visit this market almost every week. Great local artisans and foods. Really disappointed about being told I can't have my dog there. Others are constantly walking with their dogs there, and we are all told the health board doesn't allow it. But people keep bringing them! I have been to other town markets, and dogs are totally welcome. Only thing that needs to change!

Very disappointed, there wasn't as much as expected and the prices where over priced. There was a few booths that had some delicious looking food. Some places had prices that were reasonable for the amount of food you get. The beginning of the season is the worst time to go. There's more booths and more selection when more booths are there.

The Barrie Farmers’ Market open every Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Barrie City Hall just steps away from Dunlop St and downtown Barrie is a fantastic shopping and social experience. You will find fresh food grown, raised and harvested locally. Take a moment to speak to any of the producers and entrepreneurs and you will easily see their passion and enthusiasm for what they do. Mouth watering baked goods and delicious looking food along with wine and home made bread, middle eastern food, samosas, honey products and even blueberry pierogi all can be found in this little local market. With plenty of parking nearby and a short walk to Kempenfelt Bay it’s a great way to spend your Saturday morning. Grab yourself a coffee at any one of the cafes on Dunlop and take a stroll up to the market and get to know your community. Enjoy!

Great variety of local products. I get organic milk and meat there. Artesian bread is delish! some products are pricy but its pretty normal for the high quality you get. Around this season (Apr-May) you could get great freshly made maple syrup for a fair price. Cant wait till summer, more vendors will be present, i am sure!

In reality it's a 2 because it's winter but the rest of the seasons it's a 5. Heavy on meats and seafood, only 1 fruit and veggies booth. No perogis or cupcakes but in the summer there is. Cramped and little room. Bank machine is in front of a booth. Extremely awkward. Obviously the fire marshall hasn't been.
