So excited to find this shop today. No longer need to drive down the 400 to get some staples. Walls of spices, lentils, beans and more. Pre mixed sauces in you're looking for a quick and easy dinner option. A selection of samosas, and pastries make for a lovely grab and go snack. If you're vegan get your Kala namak here. Very friendly owners and a great selection. Will absolutely be back soon to stock up. Great addition to Barrie

Don't expect polite customer service. Place is a bit conjusted. Won't suggest this place during busy hours especially with covid around. You can get all dry stuffs but not many fresh veggies. They also have a chaat section.

It is a good spot to open a indian grocery store. Lots of student and indian community available. This store is good for indian stuffs which are not available in fresco, since fresco is much cheaper. I like how they have fast foods like alloo paties etc.

I have visited this place multiple times and I see there are improvements each time I visit. The variety of products and choice within a product type has been increasing making the store appear smaller each time. Some fresh south asian snack offering are unique to this store in that area. Giving 4 stars only because they offer no non-veg food choices.

The only Indian Grocery Store in Town!! Where you can find mostly all the Indian Stuff!! But be ready to pay more!! Usually prices are higher... Some products are usually get from freshco or Walmart 10 bucks less than this place... i.e India Gate Basmati Rice (Freshco - $8 , A1 - $18) ????

Visit Global super market they dont put any kinda tax on food; these guys add tax on the items like mangoes onions etc as these foods should be taxed. They have bery bad quality products.

I went there today looking for ingredients to make my wife Chicken Lababdar. I had no idea where to find the items I needed. The lady working the cash helped me find almost everything. Another customer went to the cash so she had to help him. As she was doing that another customer got out of the line to help me. I had a FANTASTIC experience today! I'll be going back for sure!

Best place for Indian grocery, vegetables are fresh, and price is fair. This grocery store has lost of varieties of products. I must say hard to choice with Namkeen, wide choice in Namkeen. I did try Hunger’s choice Namkeen so delicious and tasty. Best price for Namkeen snacks. I was surprised to see that hunger’s choice Namkeen are made with Rice Barn’s oil. Healthy Namkeen in Namkeen industry. ????

Great selection but really cramped together & quite pricy for some items, especially when No Frills sells the same item cheaper! Veggies are not really fresh - especially on a Saturday. The lady who works is very friendly, the older man cannot even say “you’re welcome.” Not sure if it was just the batch today, because they don’t seem fresh at all, but I bought 4 samosas and they are terrible. Very dry and really lacking any flavour. They’re not expensive, so that’s not an issue but Desilicious makes the best samosas in Barrie - I’ve tried them all and they give you a free dipping sauce with them! The guy who works behind the kitchen counter is very welcoming & friendly. Front of store staff should be the same.
