This Fruit Store corresponds to the category of Candy store.
It's a must go to whenever I go to Banff. Many times I go just to buy multiple caramel apples. I'd highly recommend this to anyone. It's a childhood memory of trips I took with my family and friends.
Always have loved this place. Fudge and candies all made in-house. The bears paws have been a traditional favourite; the fudge has never disappointed, and the staff have always been incredibly friendly despite the pace they have to keep up all day. Great to see products being made on-site - always fun to watch.
Got some very good fudge here. I think all the chocolate shops and candy stores in Banff are owned by the same place, they all have the same selection and same price for everything.
One of the best places to get chocolate in Alberta. They've been around since I was a kid and the quality has never diminished.
It’s all so spicy. And the only albino worker there keeps dabbing at me.
Went to the Fudgery, for the first time today when we visited Banff, and was very disappointed. Not only did the guy who helped me give me the wrong change,(had I not been paying attention, I would have missed that too), I was also missing one of the items I purchased! I bought some peanut butter fudge, and chocolate covered coconut, which came to 12.75 (which seemed awful expensive) I later reached into my bag to have my coconut "ball" and it was not there! I had the bag closed the whole time after I left the store, there was no way it fell out! I feel ripped off, and will not go there again
cute chocolate shop.
(Translated) MMMMMMMMMMM love the caramel (Original) MMMMMMMMMMM love the caramel
If you like fudge you are going to love this place. The right timing you may be able to see them at work through their store front. Great selection for a small shop.
Ridiculously over priced!!! Good fudge but as a Calgarian I am ticked that I am paying tourist prices just because it's Banff. And in saying that do we really want to rip off our tourists if we want them to continue to visit our beautiful Park????
Chocolate!!
My only complaint.. I have No self control in your store— $70 later.. it was total worth the mouthgasm!????????????
Awesome staff here and great fudge!
Overpriced and wasn't as delicious as it smelled or looked.
Great fudge. Pricey but not overpriced for being in Banff
Every time I'm in Banff I stop here, was back this last weekend and bought lots of treats. Great quality as always!
Unreal fudge and sweets. The maple fudge us out of this world.
It's all good. But the bear claws are to die for.
Dollars down the drain. It was like condensed sugar that's it .
Tremendous selection of sweets however staff were quite rude and one of the pieces of fudge had a small hair in it.
I looooved the store. They have goody sweets especially carameal with pecan . I wish i had more pieces before leaving.
Great place to pick up an incredible selection of handmade sweets. You can watch them make the chocolates on site. Everything we had from here was delicious! Bring a friend when you buy any one thing because the portions are pretty darn large. It is expensive but what do you expect for handmade chocolates.
(Translated) All very delicious what they prepare in this store. Good attention. It is located on Av Banff which is the main one in the city. (Original) Todo muy rico lo que preparan en esta tienda. Buena atención. Esta ubicada en la Av Banff que es la principal de la ciudad.
Stop here everytime I'm in town!
So good
Best place in all of Canada to stop and grab a treat. The staff are amazing, the food is incredible. I'll go out of my way to stop in Banff just to stop here and pick a little treat up.
Heaven on Earth for Nut Lover and The Biggest Sweet Tooth as me. So many goods and sweets with nuts! Hard to choose.
The fudgery is a great stop whenever you're in the pile place market in Seattle. They have a ton of sweet stuff as you can probably imagine, and fudge in every flavour! You can also see how they make the fudge in house as they make it fresh every day, as well as simple any of the flavours that you want! Perfect for a sweet munch or to take home as a souvenir
Every Trip to Banff for decades I hit this treasure up! Try the Rundle Rock.
I will go out of my way to stop here when I'm in the area because the fudge is just THAT good. I wish I could order it by mail when I'm not in town, but it just makes me that much more excited to stop by when I'm in town. The peanut butter chocolate fudge and the espresso fudge are the best!
A must have for every sweet tooth. Can be pricey; most fudge blocks are $3.95 per 100g which will usually come to about $10 CAD
(Translated) This shop is on the main street of Banff. It has delicious caramel love apple. very cute shop. (Original) Esta loja fica na rua central de Banff. Tem maçã do amor de caramelo deliciosa. bem fofa a loja.
So tasty and a great experience to watch them make the treats ???? It is always a stop for us when we go through Banff.
Had the Skor Carmel Apple it was so good. The Granny Smith apple was sour and sweet and very crisp and fresh. The Carmel melts in your mouth and the crunch of the Skor is amazing, would definitely recommend
(Translated) You can try. The waiter is kind. Apples are wrapped in icing. (Original) 可以試試。服務員親切。蘋果裹各式到糖衣。
Amazingly creamy fudge, I always stick with maple cream fudge
If I could give this place a million stars, I would. Too delicious for words. Eatmore bars, cherry blossoms, cherry truffles, bearpaws, haystacks, peanut butter squares, and that’s just the beginning. Can’t leave Banff without making a stop at The Fudgery. ????♥️
Big thank you to Rika and team for the great gift basket delivery to the Royal Canadian Lodge (former Delta) to surprise a vacationing colleague! Amazing work, creativity and support!
Our go to shoppe for fudge and chocolate. We love the haystacks they serve there and decided to try something new this weekend. It didn’t disappoint!
Another must-visit. The caramel blocks are outstanding.
Omg... yummalicious! Friendly service and so many to choose from!
Great fudge and other sugary snacks. The prices tend to be a bit higher than I would typically pay for fudge, but it is banff after all. Big fan of the Vanilla/Caramel.
Yummmmmmmmy best bear paws
Tons of flavours and delicious yummy treats :)
Overpriced however they have an awesome selection of fudge!
Great Fudge !
I have a sweet tooth. All sweets and chocolate. If you even remotely have a sweet tooth you have to stop in here. My personal favourites include the vanilla coconut clusters, milk chocolate salted caramel bars and the bear claws... but it’s all good. The fudge is always fresh and delicious. The only thing I’ve never gone for is the ice cream at the back but that’s only because all the other stuff is so good.
Nice selection of fudge and candy apples
Too good, I have a hard time staying away
(Translated) Yum very good (Original) Miam très bon
Harumi is very nice. He gives great service and would go again and again.
Just insaneeeely great candy
The guy working here is awesome! He called us over as we were walking by and offered us a free fresh sample. We ended up buying half a pound of delicious mint chocolate fudge ????
Got the chocolate walnut fudge. It hit the sweet spot but wasn't too sweet. There were plenty of different fudge options including with fruit. Fresh fudge was being made on site.
Dozens of flavors of candy apples! And other fudge treats.
Nice
Our favorite spot for sweet tooth cravings.
When I go into a store and they have a price displayed such as $3.95 per 100g I’d like the option of being able to purchase 100 g ......I was told at the store the pieces are pre-cut and cannot be cut down ....if that’s the case then you need to pre-cut 100 g don’t be cutting 250g and when a customer gets to the till their chunk of fudge is $12... that is false advertising and taking advantage of your customers.
Great spot to get your Sweet Tooth craving.
Great choices, rather expensive.
Love this store it is a must when we take the kids to visit Banff, definitely good quality and grate selection of chocolate and fudge!
Great fudge shop with lots to offer. Many fudge flavours but also much more. Greta savoury snacks as well and chocolate covered pretzels. If you are around. Come here for all your sweet tooth cravings!
Very expensive. 10$ for a block of fudge. I've paid as little as 3$ for similar amounts. Not in Banff, but there's nothing special about the fudge anyways. Infact it has dry bits throughout.
Quick, efficient service, covid safety protocols are excellent as are the treats! A must stop for us when we pass by, often only reason we stop into Banff townsite.
I like that you can watch the fudge being made but I wished it was decorated a bit better
Fave stop in Banff. Candy apples are the thing to buy.
Oh man. Salted Caramel Fudge. Wow.
Amazing assortment of delicious fudge and treats!
SO MANY FLAVOURS!
The staff member there was very friendly and gave us some great recommendations. The fudge was some of the best I've ever had!
The man who helped me and my boyfriend out went above and beyond! All the workers there are top notch!
A staple of every visit to Banff. Lots of choices and reasonable.
There's a window to see how they make the sweets! It's really interesting. It's pricey but this place won't disappoint. There's less people that go here so you'll worry less about the line. Very tasty chocolate, probably the top 3 in Banff!
Best fudge and chocolate in town. It's tradition that we stop here whenever we go to Banff :)
FIRE
We purchased an icecream today, payed $10 and we barely got a skup in the wafle.Pay to much what you get.Cashier and clerk were extremly unpleasant, rude. Fudgery, you lost a regular customer.I DO NOT RECOMMEND this store.
Overpriced, hard as a rock, week old haystacks. $18 for four. Expensive, even for Banff
This place has always been one of my favourite places to visit in Banff but when i was there a few days ago i noticed they switched up a lot of their snacks and either changed some of their recipes or just didnt have some of the treats i was used to getting. For example; instead of the classic chocolate covered pretzels they not have chocolate pretzel sticks.... just not the same.
Such a large variety of chocolates and fudge. Excellent customer service.
So good
Every time my family goes to Banff we come here. It's so fun to watch the staff make the candy at the front. The treats are worth what you pay for them and the staff are friendly.
Delicious fudge made right there infront pf you! Best fudgr I have ever had I actually have to go there every time I go to Banff. There are a lot of flavours and the best part about this experience is that you get to watch how theu pour and cut it on a big marble slab.
So good!!! But expensive!
Delicious
Fantastic fudge!
Been shopping at the fudgery for 25 years, I stop there everytime I'm in Banff which is about 6 times a year. My favorite item is there chocolate carmel apples. I was there on Wednesday June 10, 2020 and pick up 4 of them brought yhem home and found the apples to be very soft and mushy. What a disappointment especially when I ask if they were fresh.
Because it's dedicated to fudge, there should be a fudge star after 5... awesome
nice
I will NEVER return to this place. We watched a staff member making candy with gloves on. Touching the candy then reached in his pocket and got his phone out. Touched his phone and the speaker. Then plugged his phone on and started to touch the candy again!!!! ???? We have been going to this store for years. GOODBYE!
I'm not into sweets but a variety of yummy sweets and friendly service.
Reasonable pricing
Yummy!!!
Delicious sweets and chocolates!
We have been to this shop many years and still tasty ????
OMG, I loved this place sooo much. I consider myself a cute, sussy, risk taker so the Chernobyl radiation infused fudge was perfect for me. The staff members were ultra friendly, and even performed an hour long indigenous rain dance for customers to watch! My wife's boyfriend loved the ranch flavoured fudge, and said that it tasted better than his Aceruloplasminemia medication. Fudge so good it'll cure your foot fetish!
(Translated) Candy, a wide variety of chocolates. (Original) 糖果,巧克力種類繁多。
Lots of variety and delicious flavours
The price is a little much but i say its very nearly worth it
Was walking by and caught a quick glimpse inside, saw the treats and walked out with a few pieces of fudge. A little pricey, but it's a tourist town and the quality justifies everything!
My daughter knowing my penchant for really good maple fudge brought me back a slice from here. Even after a week in the fridge, we were away on holidays, it was the creamiest smoothest slice of heaven ever experienced before. I'm now in the "How can I get more" stage. Checking with friends and family to see who might be going there, even called the store to see if they can mail it out.
Quaint confectionery shop. Lots of fudge varieties. Good quality. Quite pricey though.
I have been a customer at the Fudgery for years, since it's very first year. I have always enjoyed the sweets till now. I expect price to go up, thats life. Or weight to go down, thats life. But what the fudgery has done has crossed my limit. $9.00 for a very small piece of fudge doesn't meet market value. The fact that they appologize before they even fetch the fudge tells me they know it's bad but it's just tourists, so they can get away with it. My guess is that their greed will come home to bite sooner or later. I've bought my last piece from them.
Great treats. Beautiful display.
Bought dipped apples for a friend...apparently they were to die for...
The alfredo sauce flavoured fudge that they offered tasted absolutely scrumptious, but it wasn't nearly as good as their sardine flavour. However, there seemed to be a weird love triangle going on between Yvan, Stewart, and the mop handle that distracted from the experience.
Sinful delights in fudge and sweet things. Everything is just delicious.
Yummy
Very good fudge
Not very good. Flavored fudges taste like low grade corn sugar. Move on. Better choices just blocks away.
I bought some chocolate here but I won't be eating it. The man who sold it to me kept his gloves on when he took my cash and then when the transaction was done, he kept the same gloves on and went back to greasing the candy mold he was working on earlier. I'm disgusted.
Best candy apples ever!!
My favorite place ever! You gotta try their bear paws. It is a bit pricy but worth every penny.
