Fantastic little tea shop in the heart of Banff! Despite the small store size there are plenty of teas for you to smell and for you to buy. The prices are very reasonable and you can also buy hot tea for $2 to take with you! We had my friend’s dog with us and the lady working even gave our dog a treat and came to say hello. Next time I am in Banff I will most certainly be returning.

Wow, I can't believe I forgot to review them last year. Best tea in Alberta, as far as I'm concerned. Even better, they make blends to reflect their environment. Roses, elderberries, blackberry leaves, sage, lavender, and more. They have the most incredible teas and tea ideas. Every year there's something new and several old favourites to pick up. I have been coming here since I went with my parents and never have I been disappointed. Friendly staff, always a taster available, more extensive tea tastings on Monday. Knowledge is power - they make (or have made) many of there own blends and know tons about tea. You don't have to believe me, go order from their website. Oh, and for those travelling from overseas - Pu Erh is here! it is hard to find in Canada.

We stopped by Banff Tea Co while on vacation in Canada & absolutely fell in love with the local shop! It's been 4 years since & thankfully Banff Tea Co ships to the US because I refuse to buy my tea anywhere else! Their loose leaf tea is fresh, flavorful and delicious. My personal favorite is their version of a sleepytime tea "Knock Yourself Out" it has a subtle sweetness to it & puts me right to bed. The workers were so sweet & friendly & their customer service is always superb. I love supporting this local shop!

We can order online and have in the past, but when we get a chance we pop in because it's so pleasant and we get to smell and try new teas.

Banff Tea Co is an amazing little company. Earlier last month I realized I was running low on tea and I was wondering how I was going to get through the week since I assumed that after I put in my order that it would probably take a week or more to get my order. However, I put in my order on November 18, it was sent out the same day, and I received my package only on November 20... the day I ran out of tea and only two days after I placed my order! That is so fast and so impressive. I am so grateful for this wonderful company!

I cannot stress how fresh and how high the quality of the Tea's that are sold from Banff Tea Co. are. I stumbled apon them online because they are one of the only shops that sells "Northern Delights". After making an initial order I was also given a few samples and since then have ordered new Tea's. The online ordering is very user friendly and from Banff it arrives to my door in downtown Toronto within 5 business days. There are lots of options here in the city, but they aren't as good as what Banff Tea Co. has to offer. Thanks for the wonderful Tea, you opened up a new world of flavour to me and I will continue to shop with you.

A wonderful tea shop! Tried their delicious tea at the Plain of Six Glaciers teahouse, then was delighted to see their shop in downtown Banff. The owners were wonderful and warm and patient and had great suggestions. Try the gingerbread orange rooibos!

I first had a cup of walnut truffle at the Plain of Six Glaciers Teahouse and it was the best cup of tea I've ever had! I went to town the next day to buy it and i bought a few more kinds to try, I was not disappointed! It was a sad day when I ran out .. but luckily they ship! Peeking through the windows, it looked like a lovely tea shop, so my 12 year-old step-daughter and I thought we'd have a look. Unfortunately, with COVID restrictions, they're only allowing one customer in at a time. I understand that this is a time for caution and social distancing, but if a customer is out alone for the day with a youth, I don't believe you are putting anyone at anymore risk if you let parent and child in. You lost business today because you wanted me to leave my step-daughter alone. You should seriously reconsider exceptional cases.

Amazing place, I'm more into their tea pots and accessories than teas. I got adorable Japanese tea set for just $35, and usually similar sets start at $50. They do have some amazing high quality tea sets as well. Staff is so very kind and helpful. I come here every time I'm in banff, highly recommend. Even though I love the store, I'm not a fan of their white and green teas. Herbal and black teas are much much better

I've been buying tea from Banff Tea Co for a long time now. Never ever less than a pleasant experience. Great selection and taste. They usually have some tea sample up front for you to try. My favourite is Cream of Earl Grey. Relaxing tea? Or sleep aid? Try Knock Yourself Out and/or Sweet Dreams of Banff.

Such a fantastic selection of unique, high quality teas. Visited the store in summer 2016 and left with a delicious collection that has now prompted an online purchase 3 months later! Shopping in store and online are both so easy and enjoyable. The staff are very knowledgeable and the website is easy to navigate. Wonderful tea place to visit. They have a giant library of teas, with a rotating group of discount teas and samples of the most popular brews. The staff is wonderful and hilarious, with a great knowledge of every item in the store. They support local businesses, and you can find local honey and hand-made ceramics and tea cozies. It's a wonderful place to shop!

This shop is amazing. The selection of teas is expansive, with a dynamic selection of flavours, and the staff are both knowledgable and warm. They also stock a great selection of accessories, from teapots and cups, to travel infusing mugs and spoons to dole out the exact amount for a cup or a pot. We stop in here every time we travel to Banff (and possibly travel to Banff specifically to stop in here), but they also have a phenomenal mail-order service.

This is my favorite tea shop ever. I'm from Edmonton and every time I visit Banff, this is a MUST. I'm delighted by their staff and selection and I love they are independently owned. They have unique blends and their staff is SUPER helpful if you need a recommendation. For black tea lovers, do yourself a favor and try the walnut truffle tea and grapefruit early grey. For white tea fans, white vanilla coconut, and for oolongs, Men-Shiva.

I LOVE this place! We visited Banff about 5 years ago and I really enjoyed the shop atmosphere, selection and staff helpfulness and personality. Since then I have not made it back in person, but I order teas from them regularly and I live in Alaska - free shipping over $100 order. I have not been disappointed by any of their teas - the selection packs are great if you just want to try an array of teas. My current favorites are Afterglow and Ontario Ice Whine White Tea.

The lady who was working was very friendly, stopped cleaning and took the time to help me with my selection and prepare our teas to go. "Make tea, not war" - is the byline of the cutest little tea company here in the idyllic little downtown district of Banff. From Lavender Mint to Raspberry Rooibos, from Blue Mango to Sweet Dreams Of Banff (a bestseller concoction of the most tantalising flavors) - there wasn't any brew you couldn't find.
