If you like candy, this is the place to go. While I limit my sugar consumption, my family pursuads me to stop in whenever we pass through Banff. I have been there at least 20 times while my kids spend my money there. Great little shop with huge selection. A lot of old school stuff and other candy you typically don't see other places. The business recently renovated its interior. Very clean. Well lit. I recommend people visit them when in Banff or passing by.

A Banff town staple. When we were kids our parents always brought us in and allowed us to chose one item. Now we do the same with our kids whenever we visit Banff. The decore is quaint and cramped but somehow perfect. Sometimes it can be quite crowded.

I honestly LOVE this place! I can't be in Banff without visiting. During covid, they have a 5 person limit, which is absolutely amazing since its a small store! So be prepared to wait outside. I do feel that there should be a time limit however. During my recent trip, it was rather cold, and obviously I was dressed for the weather, and yes, I was fully prepared to wait in line. But a 15 minute wait for 5 people, when you have a long line outside seems a bit cruel. (Having already waited 30 min) So I suppose an idea would be, once you've reached a specific number of people waiting in line, impose the time limit? Say you have 5 families of 4 members waiting already, impose a 5-10 minute rule. Otherwise, that's it. This place is absolutely magical!!

I dunno maybe it’s good. Went there at 8:45 PM on a Friday night only to be told they were closed. When I pointed out that it says they are open until 9PM online the kid replied by saying “we don’t have a sign and we’re closed”. I mean I suppose when I was 18 I also didn’t want to service people near closing at my job, however being a responsible adult I just sucked it up and did my job. Luckily there are other places to get your chocolate fix in Banff.

Wonderful candyshop ! Went there a few years ago back when I was a kid, and I had the most wonderful time. Yes, wonderful is the word to describe this place. I was too young so I dont know about the prices but the candy sure tasted like heaven.

By far the Best Candy Store in Banff, if not all of Western Canada. The selection is amazing, wall to ceiling candy everywhere. If you tend to like chocolate more than sugar candies, no worries, they have a huge selection of fudge, chocolate bars and homemade chocolates of all kinds.

This store has a terrific selection of new and classic candy. You’ll definitely find some niche products here. For nostalgia lovers, this is the place to go. Prices are fair. Service is positive. The store is clean and presented well and overall, the experience was great. Highly recommended!

Every kid's (or adult with a sweet tooth)'s dream! There's such a wide variety of candies, chocolates, sodas and sweets. Any candy you could think of is here. The ladies are so friendly, so helpful and so lovely to speak with. Should definitely be a stop in Banff for anyone!

I came in here to get each of my 4 kids a treat. Only once they each chose what (different) type of candy they each wanted did the cashiers tell us that there was a "minimum order" for each type of candy of a 1/4 pound. We really did not need each child to have a 1/4 pound of candy. What a ridiculous rule. Otherwise, the do have a good selection.

Even if you are not looking for a treasure trove of candy on your long walks down Banff ave but it might make you're mouth drool. But if you are into lots of candy then this place is for you. They have quite an assortment of candy and should be able yo order in more if you want

Used to be my go-to candy shop for about 30yrs, but they"ve now stripped the joy with silly rules (i.e. can't order less than 1/4 pound of bulk candy, can't order more than 3 types of same priced candy in one bag, popular bulk items have been pre-portioned...). If you'd like a 1/4 pound pre-portioned bag of one type of candy, this is now the store for you! Granted, these are minor annoyances, but the unnecessary and arbitrary application of silly rules now sends me across the street to the much better Banff Sweet Shoppe.

While they cleaned this store up and rebranded it over the years, it seems to have less selection than before. It is still good but not “the” candy store anymore. Last month when I had some bulk candy, it was a bit hard (been sitting?). It’s still a great place to drop in and they have a good selection of imported candy bars.

The Banff Candy Store does not disappoint! It’s full of imported and nostalgic products. There’s an entire wall of Pez. There are candies and chocolates from all around the world and some really fun items from the USA. You can buy handmade chocolates and Turkish Delights or candies in bulk. We were really impressed with the selection! Nice customer service as well!

$10 minimum purchase on debit sales is not an intelligent business move and likely violates their interac merchant agreement. Why anyone wouldn't incorporate their fees into their cost of sales and instead deciding to put an annoying restriction on their customers is beyond me. The arrogance of telling their customers they have an ATM they could use as an alternative is just the topper. I guess they think their customers should pay a service fee of a few dollars so they can save some pennies.

Great little candy store in Banff. Bring your wallet. I understand that it's unique, that they have speciality items, and I'm sure their rent is pretty expensive; but it feels like they mark their prices up about 400%. Such is life. Still a cool store and worth visiting.

It's 3.5 $ for a single regular, so it's neither expensive nor cheap, and the amount is large (it fills a paper cup), so it may be a good deal. The taste was certainly refreshing ice cream and it wasn't too bad at all. If you want to eat refreshing ice cream ???? (Original) キャンディなどお菓子は購入していないので、店内のアイスクリームの感想のみです(^^; ツアーガイドさんに「cowsのアイスクリームも美味しいけど、ワッフルコーンもかなり甘くて、私はあっさりしてるバンフキャンディのアイスクリームの方が好き」「味はやっぱりメープルウォルナットがおすすめ」と言われ、食べてきました！???? 店内の奥まったところにあります。 シングルレギュラーで3.5$なので、高くもなく安くもなく、量が多いので(紙コップに目一杯詰めてくれる)お得感はあるかも。 お味は確かにさっぱり食べられるアイスで全然くどくありませんでした。 さっぱり目のアイスが食べたい方はぜひ????

It's a small candy store but has got a large variety of chocolates. It's s gud place to visit for chocolate lovers . As it is located on the main street of the city so it's bit croudy. Have to wait in small queues for billing. At times you even feel difficulty is moving around the store being it a small store when there is sudden rush of customers.
