Everyone was friendly and helpful on our first visit here, great location, parking was good but parkinglot had alot of pot holes and puddles as it was raining. My daughter had fun though and jumped into the puddles so were good lol. ????

I can't believe how much the prices have risen in the past years. Ever since the new ownership, I've seen prices sky rocket. Things that really shouldn't be priced where they are. I avoid this store at all cost, unless it has something that no one else does. They think they're making more money, but in the long run it's less due to their price gouging. People notice and will avoid it. I shop at Wal-Mart because their prices generally stay the same.

Since the recent renovations and facelift at this place, the shopping experience has become really nice. It was already more or less our default grocery store in town for its convenient location, but now it is rather a pleasant shopping experience as well. I think that whatever criticism people do have of the store usually falls into two categories: 1. Prices are high. That has a lot to do with the various frills, nice decorations, nice things that they have there. And it also has a lot to do with the difficulties in getting high quality fresh produce in a town as far away from major City centres as we are. The second criticism I sometimes hear usually is in a family of criticisms of President's Choice and no name products/brands/business practices or rewards schemes generally. And that's not really Jocelyn or these nice folks' fault. That has a lot more to do with the whole President's Choice Loblaws stuff. Drayton doesn't have a whole lot of options but this is a nice one.

My only gripe is price comparisons between here and Walmart, especially for meat specials, there aren't many here compared to Walmart, which has specials all the time on many items. I come to Jocelyn's because its close to home and I collect points on my MasterCard

Took away staff discount when it turned from ExtraFoods to YIG, refuses to offer parents full time work, impossible to get a raise. You can't get a seniors discount on specific items, like DAIRY. Prices are higher than in the city ($2 for green onions is a joke). FYI you should be wary of the deli. The rules and cheapness of the owner make it impossible to properly pass an inspection. No benefits for employees. No appreciation. Then wonders why people bail from working there

Your average Superstore. Selection is ok shelves are usually stocked, fruits and vegetables are pretty good for a small town. Bathrooms are usually clean and stocked. It can get busy at times but is usually not. staff are friendly and usually helpful. Customer service is pretty good and does their best to be helpful.

Husband bought some groceries yesterday , when he got home and opened them, both items fro bakery (2 out of 2)were hard, stale and moldy and the corn on the cob as rotten on the inside, completely brown around the cob. Will never use this store again!

I don't know which is sadder, the fact Walmart cares more about its customers health than a local business. Or the fact the till employees are too lazy to even follow their own posted signs about cleaning conveyor- "no, don't worry about it you are good to put stuff down" from a till worker too lazy to do their job. I'm sure glad independent hires medical professionals as cashiers, qualified to make that call. Garbage establishment, will not return.

Poor Management !!! Over priced store and the quality sucks as well. When I asked the owner why the prices are high, she said if you dont want to buy then go somewhere else. That is just rude and unprofessional behaviour displayed by the owner jocelyn. I think the owners needs to learn basic courtesy and try to help people out rather than displaying a unwillingness to assist attitude. I would never recommend anyone to shop here after this bitter experience

The prices in this store seem to rise on a daily basis. You pay name brand prices for no name products. The produce quality is poor, it is rotting within a day of purchase. The meat is very fatty and looks poor quality. I only purchase odds and ends at this store. In the near future there will be more competition, so hopefully I won't have to enter Jocely's YIG again.

Not the most helpful when it comes to pricing of products. Had an item that the tag said 4.99 but it rang up at 7.99. Mentioned it to the cashier who got them to check and said no it was 7.99 the tag was on the floor... Thats fine I just left it yhere. Went back the next day and there was still no tag so obvioisly she lied to me because if the tag was on the floor it would be on the shelf. That was a month ago, still to this day there is still no price tag there for that item. Worst store I have ever been to. Will never shop here again as this isnt the first pricing issue I have had with them.
