I enjoy saving money. I shop around for good deals and this is the place to be. You do have to be careful that the produce that is on special hasn't gone bad, but otherwise its a great spot to buy fruit. Vegetables are more expensive sometimes so you have to know your prices. They might have boxes there for you to take your purchases home with you, but I would make sure to bring a reusable bag.

They always have managers deals and when you spend over 30 you receive a free item. And even better its family owned and operated, met the owner today and they're a farming family from just outside edmonton who believe that albertans should have access to fresh fruit and veggies with having to choose over rent and bills in order to do it. This place is another addition to the recent availability of the grocery stores in Calgary other than some of those reputed market places like superstore and o frills. Brand names are ready to price beat to reach in competition to these store. I love some of the deals here to save some pocket money and the product may not be upto the great quality but it's value for my dollar. Do it's a great deal. Enjoy it.

Social distance is maintained and sanitizer is always available for customers use. Staff are always friendly, available and courteous at all times. Check out is quickly and easily by the cashier.

This a great place to find a good selection of inexpensive fresh produce. We found potato's, beets, onions, grapes (green and Concord), pickling cucumbers, jalapenos, green onions at a very reasonable price. This is the preferred source for fresh fruit and vegetables for our family chef.

Place is great for vegetables and fruit and if you buy over $20 you get a bonus. One thing to keep in mind is that a lot of the fruit is ripe and ready to eat. Not green and two days later your going come on banana go yellow!

Must try FIELD tomatoes they taste like home grown much better then greenhouse ones. Field tomatoes have unique flavor and meaty texture to them. They also get wide variety of mushrooms, exotic fruits, garlic is sold in bulk absolutely outstanding, variety of squashes, very clean and organized. They also carry raw Canadian honey. Great store for a good selection of fruits and veggies. Staff in the store have always been very friendly and helpful. Over the last year or so, the store has gotten some repairs and small renos, looks and feels cleaner than it had before. There is always a good amount of parking available at this store. Since March of this year, the store has stepped up on hand sanizing stations by the doors. The reasons I have deducted a star: Quality can be spotty. Sometimes really good, sometimes bad, usually it's all a little better than it is bad. Check everything over carefully, especially berries. That said, even when I factor in spoilage and waste, I spend far less on produce here than at the major grocery stores. Store is not organized in the most effective manner and can feel very crowded when a little busy or if staff have stocking carts out. A roll of produce bags right by the entrance where the carts are would be nice so that you don't need to go over to the broccoli to get a bag when you start. You know what I'm talking about ????

Very good place to shop for produce! We live 2 hours north of Calgary and each time we have to make a trip into Calgary we are sure to put this store on our list of stops to make! The staff are super kind and helpful! The produce is in very good condition for excellent prices!! I highly recommend it!

H&W Produce is a fantastic location to add to your weekly shopping routine. You can stay up-to-date on their facebook page which promotes weekly specials on seasonal produce. Staff , in my experience, have been welcoming, sharing their knowledge and opinions with warmth. If you like to freeze foods or meal prep this is a great stop to pick up fresh ingredients. I am very satisfied with the affordable quality produce I have had here time and time again.

Best Discount Produce in Calgary. Very professional. They hire everyday people instead of what seems like just family members as most in the area seem to do. The produce is good quality and the prices sometimes shock you how low they are. I only wish they had other locations in Calgary like they do in Edmonton.

Good inspection is must before buying products as in wholesale business at times you encounter with non fresh items incidental to perishable nature of commodities. Make sure to take advantage of there weekly offers 10% off when you buy $40 or more.

Great place to get fresh produce at prices often 1/2 of Superstore's and lots of fresh local (BC) fruit at 1/5 the price of the farmer's market. The store is clean and well laid out for quick stops. Not a one stop shop for groceries though, as they carry a smaller selection of fruits and vegetables (whatever is in season) and only a few other odds and ends.

It is a great place for produce but went there today had to stand outside which is ok but when I could get in manager was standing in the doorway which is very small got inside way to many people inside probably 30-35 people so I grabbed what I needed was standing in line 6 feet from person in front the kid that stocks comes up right behind me knocks me just about over doesnt say anything not excuse me or nothing just pushes me out of the way I say to him 6 feet he doesn't say anything I am reporting them and the cashier wouldn't stop talking and there was only about 1 foot fro. Small(er) tidy store. The produce is usually fresh. Quality is usually better than the nearby produce store. Staffs are friendly. Plenty of parking is accessible around the store.

Our family shopped at the Edmonton locations for the brief time we lived there, and we're thrilled to have a Calgary location now, too! Their non-sale prices are just fine, but their sale goods are unbelievable—the grapes we bought today for 39¢/lb ($1.20 for a medium bag) are delicious! I bought seven or eight different fruits and veggies and nothing I purchased was more than a dollar per pound. We'll definitely be returning often!
