Amazing! The fruit and vegetable selection is amazing. Not only is it beautiful, it is fresh and plentiful. The beginning of September was a wondrous time to visit as harvest was getting into full swing. Make sure you stop to pick up some OK fruit!

A lot of imported stuff... It's not really logic tout buy organic fruits if they had to cross half of the world... To me jars are a little expensive ... Pickeled beeteoot 14$... Hum... Just took tamatos because from BC... And note really good... Sad

This is a must stop on your journey along the Trans Canada highway through Sicamous. Expect to find exceptional quality seasonal fruits and vegetables in ample supply. Try before you buy! Ask the qualified team members as to their recommendations. This qualified team will provide insights on how to make the perfect selection amazing watermelon or peach. The fruit will taste exactly like the fruit should taste. If you Google "What should a peach taste like?" the response will be "Like the one from Fruit World in Sicamous BC." After making your purchase take advantage of the convenient cleaning station that will allow you to partake of your purchases enroute to your final destination. There are also plenty of locally produced sauces, jams and other preserves available for your own consumption or to be given as gifts.

Stopping at Fruit World was something we did on a whim because we were sore and wanted to walk around. It ended up being one of the highlights of our vacation. Their fruit selection and attention to ripeness is second to none. The staff is awesome, always searching out any customer that may be in need of some help. Stopped twice and would even consider moving closer simply to have access to this wonderful commodity. Keep up the great work guys.

Great selection of local British Columbia fruits and veggies and the cashier was a total sweetheart and very helpful. Some items are super pricey like $16 for a jar of local dill pickles but most items were fair priced and quality was excellent.

This is a wonderful fruit stand / shop that provides not only great customer service, but an amazing variety of vegetables and fruit. I was visiting from Colorado and grateful they gave me some pointers on crossing the border with their products. Their Canadian hospitality and happiness was very nice! They have juices, local maple syrup and jams along with vinegars, soap bars and savory products as well. I spent almost $100 here and would do it again in a heartbeat! It's family owned and operated so you know it's a top quality shop. *Highly recommended*

I finally got to Fruit World for the first time today and loved it! Great service, friendly, helpful people, lovely produce and a huge selection of sauces and goodies. It was especially wonderful because there were so many vegan, gluten-free things from which to choose. It's a beautiful motorcycle ride from Tappen and I'll be back!

This place is awesome!! It was super busy for the time of day when we went. We brought our Pheebo with us (mind you we carried her the entire time) and no one said anything about her. The variety of produce (fruit and veg), condiments, jarred goods, snacks for the road. I highly recommend if you are ever in Sicamous, BC (even if you are just driving through and want to stretch your legs) I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. There’s even a washing station for your fruit and veggies!! You gotta check this place out!!

My favourite stop along this stretch of highway! Definitely the best fruit prices and selection around. Mostly local fruit but some non-local (watermelon, bananas, etc.). Healthier packaged snack alternatives, natural body care products, unique condiments, etc. available. Don’t drive by it!

Great place to stop of you're heading back to Alberta and beyond to share a taste of the Okanagan. Bought a couple cases of peaches for friends who want to do their own peach jam. Super friendly and helpful staff. Lots of parking. Limited trailer parking. Ice cream shop accoss the road for a quick cold treat.

Cute outdoor fruit market just off the highway! Features local produce which is really tasty. Staff were very friendly and they even have a convenient sink so you can wash your fruit. Would definitely go again if we pass through this area

I would lean towards calling this place 'Expensive Fruit World'. They had a great selection but I found fruitstands in Salmon Arm to be cheaper. Not by a whole bunch, but a penny saved is a penny earned. Took a look around the market and decided to buy fruit elsewhere-they did not have one fruit item that beat the price of where we chose to buy our fruit from instead. FYI-to my awareness, if you are heading east from Sicamous this is the last fruit market available.

Beautiful fruits and vegetables and the flavours! The owners encourage you to sample before you buy! ... and they know their stuff. My daughter had been raving about this place and I was not disappointed in any way!!! I can't say enough good about it. Not cheap but best quality, totally worth it, you must try!

First time stopping here on the way back to Alberta. The corn from the Fraser Valley, the BC tomatoes and blueberries were good, but the green and red cabbage that I bought, were both black on the inside, had to throw half of each out.

Bought a 20 lb box of peaches. got them home to calgary and all the peaches were hard opened them up and the whole case is rotten. wasted 25 dollars. wont purchase stuff here anymore.

We stopped for go-karts, ice cream, and fruit all on the same street. Great pit stop on a long drive. These folks even have a washing station so you can eat your fruit right away! :) We loved our prune plums and freestone peaches.

Locally grown produce. Picked up some baby carrots (purple and orange), green onions (the largest I’ve seen), peppers, grapes and golden beets. Some produce is prepackaged. Parked on the side of the road. Hand sanitizer available as you enter. Cashier was friendly.

Hands down one of the best if not the best fruit stand in this part of the Okanagan. Fruits there are always fresh, carefully picked, very local and GMO free. Prices are reasonable and staff are friendly. They have washing stations where you can wash and clean the fruits if you want to eat right away!

I got all my Christmas salsa ingredients from Fruit World and it turned out to be the best salsa ever! I also bought some locally made vegan numbing cream for tendinitis in my wrist. It was instant pain relief and I swear it helped me heal. This is such a great place to go. I would recommend it to one and all!

I had a horrible experience with not only one employee but 2. I was looking at a case of fruit when an angry and irritated young man who is very tall said "You'll need to be actually dealing with your son trying to push his fingers in the tomatoes, thanks." As I went to respond he turned his back on me while I was speaking directly to him. This was not by mistake, as he was mumbled more under his breath. I wanted to address the way in which he spoke down my throat about it, so unkind in front of my 5 year old son. I was completely blown away that was the protocol as I'm not the 1st person for their child to do something like this in a market. While my son very much would have done something like this. I don't even recall never not being a proper parent to my son and dealing with my child. I know my fault was not watching his every move and I as a mom "missed" something. I'm not perfect and I certainly didn't deserve to be treated poorly in public and in front of my son. Plus my sons not perfect and neither are the 2 employees I encountered today. While I put my items down I went to leave and stopped to tell the older woman with gray hair who was standing with the young man during the incident. I told her I wasn't going to spend money here today due to the disrespectful staff and I'm not coming back. Her response was " well good, we don't want your kind here anyways." As a parent, I would have paid for that Tomatoe he damaged but after mistreatment I left not feeling treated properly. I will make food bank donation in place for my damaged product of yours as I do not feel safe or comfortable returning to do the right thing as I normally try to do. Btw, he's just a kid who was in trouble for his actions. Hopefully others will be held accountable for their actions towards myself. I live locally, despite my out of province plate.

Good place, but some of their stuff isn't properly labeled as not local, and the place is confusingly organized, with no clear path. The local fruit and vegetables are excellent, but the lack of proper signage for localization does lead to some confusion. The staff are absolutely wonderful, but you can only do so much when you're absolutely swamped with people.
