Twice the price half the product more expensive then safeway half the choices. Way to overpriced. I got a small 250 ml Greek salad tried charging me 6 dollars and it was on sale. Not only that but every object I noticed was marked up from safeway oe superstore. Regular items I get. Such as pickles and sanwhich meat. Never going again

Worst grocery shopping experience. I was followed by their in store security and she actually appeared to jump out of an isle at one point and looked right at me. So my backpack was in the cart, my mask covered my face, can't get past having to wear one. Had headphones on too, listening to music while I shopped in a unfamiliar store. Took my time too Everytime I turned around there she was staring at me. Ok. I get the back pack thing and only homeless wear them and is a red flag to everyone, worse yet if someone rides a bike too. I finished my shopping finding out it's highly priced in comparison to other places I normally shop at. Service at the till was seriously judgemental as well. I couldn't find what I normally buy. The payment issues were the stores concern since it was their terminal. First tap didn't work, tried again, meanwhile she grabs the till phone and starts talking in store code like I'm oblivious to what she was doing. Tbh it was the most insulting experience while shopping for groceries, and when I told that person how insulting I saw things, she replied with a cold and justifying look and attitude but thanked me for coming and that I enjoy the rest of my day. I'm going to avoid ever going to this place again and as a matter of fact, I'm going to tell as many people as I can about this experience as I possibly can. It was all about judgement. Thing is, I wasn't dressed poorly, I was clean and we'll presentable on top of which I was polite, and ultimately paid for everything with my credit card and went on my way. The experience was incredibly insulting and I politely said so. I'm on the verge of saying part of the issue was their attitude was because of....my not being white. I'm so almost certain this is the reason for this offensive treatment. I am seriously offended by these two. I'll never step foot in their again and like I said, I'll tell as many ppl as I possibly can. Great job ppl for treating another as less than. Thank you for the judgemental and offensive treatment.

Freaon brothers IGA is a large convenient store and is priced as such. The convenient hours are why I go. It used to be a well-priced grocery store now the prices have gone up considerably but they are open longer hours so their prices have gone up to reflect the convenience. If you need something quick at an odd hour of the day then the IGA is a place to go. Do not expect the same prices has other grocery stores.

They carry Alberta, home grown, organic products and the meat department is competitive with all competitors but with locally grown products! Freson brothers GP is a very nice place to shop, the staff are so friendly and helpful, the store itself is very well presented with a large variety of products from Canada and worldwide. I always grab myself some chicken and wedges when there (very tasty) and far better than Popeyes. The prices are a little high in store however they do have regular sales on, I would recommend this store to everyone. Oh and finally there is ample parking just outside the store, keep up the good work guys.

This place is one of the worst grocery stores in Grande Prairie. Alot of the produce and meat is either rotten or past expiry. It's also over priced. The bakery is good though. I would definitely not recommend this place.

Well the person running till wouldnt open bathroom to start, then for some reason again my points wouldnt ask if i wanted to use them and it wouldnt let me use any. Thank god had the 4.30 to pay for purchase. Stores not that clean and they shouldve kept south side open and shut down north end freson bros and get a new manager and more people that know what they are doing and speak english would be great too.

Amazing is one word to sum it up. We all feel helpless and edgy now under the various circumstances we live under. The fact that Freson Brothers has committed to buying Alberta Beef and I can shop there and show my support makes me feel empowered. The fact that there was not a bombardment of signage, floor directions, security, suspicious looks from others, etc..was so welcomed and necessary to save my sanity. Recently started going to this store and their meat is superior to any other grocery store in town in my opinion. To add to the fact that whenever you see an employee there they say hello and ask how your day is. Feels like small town store where everyone knows everyone. :)

By far the most friendly and helpful staff of any grocery store in the area in my opinion. If it wasn't so far out of my way I would shop there more often. I love the odd ball stuff they carry that the others dont(especially the crush and hires pops!). Where else can you buy steak, flowers and fireworks all in one place!
