Here you have all the feddbacks of real people who purchase the services of Freson Bros. Fox Creek (Fruit Store) in the area of Alberta (Canada).
Currently the business gets a score of 3.6 over 5 and this score has been calculated on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that the average score it has is quite good, and it's based on a high number of feddbacks, so we may be pretty sure that the assessment is very accurate. If people have bothered to value when they are pleased with the business, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to write reviews when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Fruit Store corresponds to the category of Grocery store.

Most expensive store i ever went to in Canada. STAY AWAY !!!

Some decent premade sandwiches.

Good produce selection. Friendly staff. High prices.

Actually a very decent little grocery store here in town. The deli is amazing with hot soup and sandwiches. The prices are very reasonable as well. ????????

Friendly staff

Old style friendly nostalgic atmosphere...their in store pepperoni was tasty...nice staff.

Make great lunches in their Deli

Convenient, lots of selection

Only grocery store in town and the prices reflect it. Good selection for a small place tho.

Not bad selection, but extremely expensive

Great place

I work there

Good selection of products and groceries easily accessible from the highway very useful for truck drivers

Great place

Clean and fresh

24 hrs, good produce and sandwiches and selection

Not much choice for grocery stores in Fox Vegas, now, is there?

Overpriced 6 dollars for a can of chilly. How do you expect locals to buy groceries here I bet most residents of fox buy there groceries elsewhere.

I was in a rush. Service is excellent. Very tidy shelves. Excellent communication skills. Prices are affordable and wonderful sales.

They over charge because they know they can. Produce is on the shelf rotten or doesn't last a day after you get it home. Limited selection and it is not uncommon to find expired goods on the shelf.

This place is AMAZING! would be 5 stars, but the produce was not that great. Loved the variety, even yellow and purple cauliflour!! Always wanted one, price was fair but it was SO soft! But the homade chip, cookies, and bread are amazing! Will have to try the produce when in season!!

What great friendly customer service. Decent prices!!

Expensive

Prices are a bit high. Had to pay close to $11 dollars for a can opener. I bought the first can opener here for about $5 dollars, took it to my hotel, it didn't work and got bent when i tried to open a small can of tuna fish. So i returned it and they were nice enough to take it back. So i bought their only other can opener which was very sturdy and worked very well, but for about $11 dollars. I'm not an expert when it comes to can openers, but i don't think a can opener is supposed to cost that much. Other that weird experience, the store is very well stocked. Their staff are so nice and friendly. And their cooked whole bbq chicken was very tasty and costed $9.99, same price as in the big cities....which is a very good deal.

I just drove past it at over 110km/hr yet Google decided to ask me to rate my visit so have five stars I guess

Excellent spot for truckers. Hot roast chicken and decent grocery store easy parking.

Great for parking big rig doubles for early morning snacks...

Nice little store that has everything you need for basic living. Clean. Good staff. Good selection of products and produce is fresh and good.

I never thought I would leave a review on a grocery store! This shop has a little of everything tho! We have often stopped in on our way through in our motorhome. Pick up essentials and things we didn’t even know we needed. Open late for weary travellers and big clean bathrooms available as well.

The google map shows iga in the residential area. It is on Hiway ave next to the Petro Canada gas station. Iga is open from 6 am to midnight 7 days a week It is not open 24 hours

Very poor quality of produce and highly overpriced

Best deli ever.

Expensive

Horribly marked up prices

Overpriced, and one of the few options around.

Great grab and go section

High priced, but open 24 hours. Well stocked

Not bad for the size

Lots of selection, best grocery store on highway 43 with the best hours 6am-12am

The grocery store for truckers

Good store for a small town store Very clean

Friendly staff and a good variety of products

very limited selection

Good place to shop. A bit expensive...

High priced. I find all Freson Brothers stores to be pricy so this one is no exception. I have been staying here for a few months and you can find the necessities on sale if you're not too picky. But, regardless, it's the only game in town. You're stuck with that or convenience stores. The staff is friendly enough and their baked goods are nice.

Small town Fox Creek grocery store. Not too shabby. Hot meals quite a wide selection of food. Limited Asian and Italian selection though.... but hey it in the middle of no where. Embrace it!

A nice Freson Market. Lots of selection packed in a small space. The lines generally move pretty quick. Okay selection of hot food.

Great selections and very kind checkout clerks

Staff is great. Prices are insane

Only option for groceries in town

Good food and there's variety of things to feed ur fatigued no I'm playing good stuff to feed ur tummies

Expensive to shop and buy but it is a small town and it's the only grocery I was told of. So if you want to eat and not just fast food then dine or die(leave) as they say. Not everything is pricey though, most frozen foods are acceptable and priced almost as if you will in cities.

Expensive...

As a newbie to Fox Creek, I am very impressed by the selection and the customer service. Highly recommended for all your shopping needs!

Mr Freson said hi to me

All ways have a you need at low price and opens up at 05 30 every day

Good lunches and great service

Great selection and clean however horrifically overpriced everything. Talk about take advantage of the local oil field and travelling oil field workers

???????? chicken and spuds little expensive for simple stuff but that chicken was amazing ????

The prices are exorbitant and they refuse to take other Freson Bros bottles for the water refill program.

Decent selection, but a bit pricey

Grate prices good sandwiches helpful staff

Friendly folks.

Great place to shop. The bakery is superb.

Reasonable priced and very friendly staff

Prices were outrageous!!!

Good

Great selection for such a small store however everything is expensive.....

Only Grocery store in Fox Creek. I'm planning to invest here. Putting another Grocery Store.

Excellent place for groceries

Pretty pricey, but I guess you don't have much of a choice in Fox Vegas.

Good Hours of Service, Pricey

Great family owned grocery store staff awesome and shopping was ez

Expensive

Fantastic store everything looks nice and fresh in there. And staff are very friendly.

Very expensive but great hours and decent selection, they sometimes take a while to restock certain items though.

Carrying and using "Get Sauced" products(a locally owned and operated company )

They have the stock, slection, they are open early, late and weekends and have friendly staff. Everything you need in a small town! They do a great job dispite the challenges of the local flux up and down of transient population and rural location.

Nothing to say other than the only grocery store in fix creek. Good selection of goods.

Love it

The prices are a little high on some things if you are a smart shopper there are lots of great deals. Insane amount of selection for the space. Lots of food for everyone from people looking for cheap deals to people looking for specific items. Very friendly staff very helpful. Except that one guy... but we dont talk about THAT guy.

It's a tad pricey but you can find the deals if you're thrifty. The bakery bread and doughnuts are phenomenal. The staff here in Fox is the most customer friendly out of any business in town. On the downside the produce section never seems as fresh as a larger center's store and junk food rarely goes on sale. Also the specialty cheeses suck and cost through the roof. On the plus side Western Family has some real good generic products that will really "wow" a person for a very affordable price. The party mixes are awesome.

Super expensive food costs more than any other grocery store I've ever shopped at $100 got me 2 bags of groceries

Expensive, but people working around here can normally afford it

Select of fresh produce is pretty good for a small town store. Prices are higher then most other places.

Great selection of high quality goods, clean bathrooms, friendly staff, well managed store, well kept, nice to be around good folks in a nice grocery setting, its busy at lunch and they have hot food available towards the back

Great savings and friendly staff!

Always a good experience and groceries are fresh

Friendly Staff

Exspensive

Limited selection not a fan

Good food and friendly staff

Nice country store with lots of choices and friendly service

Really nice store clean well kept great variety and the staff was really nice p

I mean what choice do you have....honestly. should you make the trip to Whitecourt? Seems plausible when you are using a company vehicle and company fuel to drive 45 minutes each way.

Great store supporting the community. Friendly staff.

Good people. Only one creepy one that kept trying to smile at my 7yr old daughter

Friendly staff, good prices on most items

Only groceries on Fox Creek

Way over priced

A single bag of groceries cost me 25$ this place is wack better off just buying fast food.

Prices are out to lunch.

Staff are great thanks

Cashier was awesome and I found everything I needed!!

Pretty fair selection of goods... pricey

Way too expensive

Way to expensive when a working guy is supporting local businesses

Ridiculously overpriced

The only store in town! There is a good variety, some smallwares & a few organic items, at times. Prices are what you would expect, higher than larger populated communities but they do have good specials. If you register for their points it adds up quick. I love it that the staff remember your name!

Good is good

Grocery store good choices

For Fox Creek a reasonable place to shop

Local place that feels better than a standard IGA

Very clean and nice workers . Let me take a plastic spoon and fork from the kitchen with no hassle

Pretty expensive grocery trips. Out of stock on items more often than I've seen in other stores. I'm guessing because it's the only grocery store there and it's hard to stock with an unknown changing transient population. You need to be very careful shopping the produce and bakery. Produce is iffy some days and the "fresh" made items you really need to check the dates on. The fried chicken and spuds there are awesome as long as they are fresh. The doughnuts are great too. Pretty decent selection of ready made lunch foods if that floats your boat. They have added tap to pay and that has helped with the ridiculous lineups. It's also nice they are open so early in the morning.

All ways good people

Limited selection even for a small town and. Super expensive some items are 50 percent more than they are in grande prairie

Food price is toomutch expensive

No real dairy free options available for lunches and severely overpriced for what is available

It's always been a pleasure supporting a grocery store that understands oilfield hours. Too bad The town of Fox Creek doesn't understand trucking. $35 + / day to stop in Fox Creek. We'll be stopping elsewhere. ????

It is a shame to see how big the abuse to the public. Prices are horrendous here everything is way more expensive than any other stores in other cities and towns, they can abuse like this because this is the only supermarket in town. It is really sad besides the quality is not even close to Sobey's or Great Canadian Super Store.

Great produce selection, early open and close late, that's nice!!!

Small town grocery store. Has everything you need but be prepared to pay for it.

Open until midnight

Pricy

Small... And prices are outrageous...

Awsome place to get food for work open till 12 pm. No worries about how late you work.

Great selection, pricey

Good spot to stop when working in the area good selection of lunch foods in the deli

Clean, stocked. What else do you want from a grocery store. Oh yeah hot meals as well open 6am to midnight great if you are on the road

Great selection but kind of expensive

Freaking expensive. If possible buy your groceries someone else (Whitecourt for example).

Superb sandwiches, great prices, baking is great also.

I like that they sell edible food at a place where I want edible food.

Nice place but too pricey

They have everything you need from a grocery store. Expensive, but it's a great selection!

Prices are high but that's typical for the location. Good quality meats

Only grocery store in fox creek. Limited selection of everything and very busy, but the staff is helpful and the shelves are stocked. Price isn't terrible considering everything else in fox creek

To expensive, worst place to shop in Alberta

Terrible prices as compared to Wal-Mart or superstore but it's the only grocery store for 100kms so basically it's hiway robbery

Very expensive for a small town grocery shopping. Oil town prices but not everyone makes$25. per. hr. some in town will have to spend 1 1/2hrs. Wage to buy a steak

Very expensive place to buy groceries

Nice store, Friendly staff. Very clean and tidy. Prices are a bit high though but not to bad

Well stocked, clean and convenient.

Open late friendly staff

So overpriced

They have a great bakery

The only place in town to get food. Rip off prices for low quality.

This place is expensive by lot compared to Grande prairie

Good selections. A little over priced

Most expensive iga I have ever been in might as well shop at the gas stations

Love it. Good food. Prices aren't bad and their cookies are amazing....

Sign says open until midnight. Was closed before 11

Expensive as hell

The best place to buy your house needs the staff is friendly keep it up guys

Mostly over priced compared to larger centers but friendly staff.

This store is terrible, the pricing, the service and the out dated foods. Only way they get away with it is the owner is on the town board and they will not allow any competition to step foot into FoxCreek. Me and 100s if not 1000s boy is the best part wcott this store and instead of giving them any of our hard earned money we drive to Whitecourt and buy our groceries from Walmart, yup that’s right an American company due to the very very very high pricing they have and very poor customer service. Trust me and don’t darken the doors of this grocery store, I know it’s on a highway but they fail to mention it’s highway robbery to shop in this store. Just because it’s an oil town and we all make good money but it doesn’t mean jack up prices and try and get a piece of our money. For those that don’t believe this review take a walk thru and check pricing and then compare shop at Walmart or even the Edmonton Freson Bros and see the difference for yourselves. Big big savings to go shop anywhere but FoxCreek Freson Bros

expensive

Good place to shop friendly Staff and good selection And accessible if your Driving semi

Wow

Overpriced and the produce is sketchy. Shop here if you must but it is definitely worth a trip to whitecourt for price alone.

Ok

Always feel welcomed and staff are very helpful

'seems like they relieve other stores of their expired produce, then resell at 2-3 times retail. Quite a scam.

They carry Mundare pepperoni that's 5 stars to begin with not to mention the friendly cashiers and the other staff were great!

Lots of selection and open on holidays

Some what sullen response by workers...

Old Store, dirty, dusty but friendly staff.

The sound goes then earlier then later of map.

On the expensive side, but only option around. Open early so common spot to grab a lunch when working in area. They move a lot of product so lunch type things are generally fresh.

Expensive

Best place and very cheap

What a nice shop! Great staff, helpful managers and great prices!

Only place in town with groceries. Has all the basics. Prices are high but that's to be expected in a small town. Hours of business are good.

It's expensive

Poor quality food

Small but very good selection. Nice deli with rotisserie chicken, fresh salads etc.

Fresh food. Great price

Awesome little store. Trucker friendly small packaged meals.
