One of the best places in town to get your produce. The produce from this place is always fresh and on top of that the quality offered is absolutely amazing. The staff is super friendly and communicate with you what you want and even listen to your recommendations. If you ask about something they do not carry they try their best to take it into consideration and bring that stuff in for your convenience during the next visit.

What a weird experience. I was asked to put on gloves, which is totally fine and reasonable; However, I then was faced with lectures from every single employee (except for the young dark haired femail, the only useful employee there) and they just let making the entire experience stressful. They didn't have available carts and then got upset when I used a bag, of course this led to another lecture about bag use. I asked for jalapenos and the man led me to the carts hidden in the back of the stores and then proceeded to lecture me further abouty bag use - provide customers with accessible carts than! The younger dark hairs employee was the only one to actually do her job and make me feel welcomed. Needless to say I decided to cut my grocery shopping short and leave with just what I had already. Such a negative atmosphere, will go to every other grocery store outside of town before I'll ever come back to this one. The owner needs to lecture their staff about professionalism and etiquette. Perhaps make the younger female employee the manager and ask her to teach the two older adults how to behave in an appropriate manner and keep their store better organized. Again, will never come back to this 3rd grade store.

Fresh & Local Farm Outlet is fantastic! Excellent quality, excellent service. It is the best place to shop for your groceries in all of Calgary. The taste is wonderful and they have delicious, interesting new products that I have never seen before such as purple cauliflower and Einkorn Bread. I started buying my eggs here because they sell trays of Jumbo sized eggs...and I mean jumbo. My last two trays yesterday were ginormous eggs! Orange Double-yoked! Wow! I love the service too. Friendly service and great prices, however the cucumbers (though cheaper) are not as fresh as the ones I usually purchase from Tomato Man. I have not tried the tomatoes yet but they look promising. I also bought a bag of mixed coloured carrots for a fantastic price compared to what I usually pay at the Farmer’s Market. Overall, I would probably return only if I am in the area.

I finally made a trip here after being told to go by numerous people, and it did not disappoint! While I was there I learned that the ginger I was buying was not irradiated (and yes, I also learned that most commercial ginger is irradiated.... Ew) and I everything I picked up was delicious! The prices were good and the staff was really truly lovely. I will be back!

Great personalized service and great prices! I was given a full tour of everything they offer. All the produce you need is there, in a small European style market. You don't have to walk by aisle after aisle of soda pop and potato chips and 15 types of toilet paper. Vote with your dollar by shopping local!

We love this place. Owners are very helpful and always willing to explain different vegetables to my children and give us tips on how to prepare. Great deals of fresh produce. We love that they can tell us about the farms where the food comes from and that the majority of the food is local. My kids always want to take visitors to this place as it is their favourite store.

This is the only place during the pandemic where I was rudely told I had to wear gloves. I sanitize my hands and wear my mask wherever I am no problem, but I feel gloves provide a false sense of security and once one thing has been touched the gloves are now contaminated. If wearing gloves in a store is required what aren’t they cleaning??

Although modest in outward appearance, it carries local (some are from BC) and organic produce and eggs and the knowledgeable and friendly staff can tell you exactly where they came from and even the names of local growers. This is an amazing spot! Local produce from alberta, bc, and saskatchewan from the store to your plate. Fresh and local has amazing seasonal selections from western Canada's produce growers, year round. The owners and staff are amazing and can keep you informed of what's coming up next in the store. They have seven or more types of garlic! And they have delicious, farm fresh, dark yolk eggs, that just taste divine. If you're in the south, I highly recommend checking this spot out.

I have order produce from here a handful of times. Each time most of the produce is pretty good (Superstore quality, I prefer to shop local instead of the big box stores) but, usually received one or two mouldy/questionable products. I never complained or reached out to the company because I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. I understand how swamped and stressed businesses are with the economy and pandemic and people make mistakes. But when I received my last order it was a complete disaster. Half of the produce was obviously mouldy, the fiddleheads had a heavy rancid smell to them and the bread was extremely stale. The owner's response was, "That's not right. I will make it right tomorrow. Sorry for the sub par performance." Later I was met with, "I'm going to use your order as an case study for improvement. Thanks for reaching out." I find this frustrating and insulting. Now I'm going to have to go spend an additional $90 on produce for my family. These times are hard on everyone.
