-0.5 star for misleading name: it's really 90% Russian and Ukrainian produce only. -0.5 star for bad selection of non-sweet salted fish, which is one of top picks in a place like this that you cant find in any other non-slavic store

Sunflower seeds, spices, sweets are all from Europe and the CIS. Sausages and cheeses of our own production, as well as dry, smoked fish are always fresh. One time I came across expired seeds and a Kinder bar. PAY ATTENTION TO SHELF LIFE !!!! Prices, as elsewhere, are moderate, not cheap. Sometimes you compare the prices of some goods with Ukrainian ones and your eyes are on your forehead, here the same product is three times more expensive. But this is the norm here and the salaries are different. (Original) Для людей из бывшего СНГ — магазин находка, все что не реально найти в супермаркетах местных, здесь в основном есть. Семечки, приправы, сладости все из Европы и СНГ. Колбасы и сыры своего производства, так же сухая, копченная рыба всегда свежая. Один раз попались просроченные семечки и батончик Kinder. ОБРАЩАЙТЕ ВНИМАНИЕ НА СРОК ГОДНОСТИ!!!! Цены как и везде умеренные, не дешёвые. Refund policy is a total sham. Despite what it says on the receipt (refunds accepted within 2 days), the only acceptable reason for a return is if the product is rotten or expired. I used to come regularly, and after a recent trip (spent $100+) I came back to return a couple items. I was flat-out refused and insulted, and when I asked to speak to the manager I could only leave my phone number and no one called me back. I love Russian food, but I won't be returning...

Be VERY attentive when you shop in there. There is a lot of expired goods. We bought pickled cucumbers and mushrooms yesterday and it turned out they expired A YEAR AGO!!! Same with dry fruit, condensed milk, jam. It is disgusting how badly this business treats customers.

Best place to get fresh, rich sour cream and pre-made perigees! They also have an awesome deli that includes cured and smoked fish. They have a HUGE selection of jarred foods such as pickles, jams and soups. Some items can be a bit pricey but I guess that’s what we have to pay for imported goods.

I am so happy that I found this place! Best herring fish, salted and smoked makrell fish. Great convenient store to buy your stuff. People are nice and smiling. High quality products. Free parking is available as well. If you like pickled fish I recommend both smoked and salted ones ( in fridge).

This is a very interesting Eastern European market. I can't read most of the text that's on the items in store as I don't know the native language, but it's fun to ask others what they think is the best and try their recommendations. I love coming to this place for produce, it has great prices and cute little cheesecakes you can get from the back freezer, I would give this place 5 stars except the staff seems kinda rude at times, they speak to each other in foreign languages while ringing your orders thru, not sure what they are talking about, you'd think they could wait till customers walk out to start talking to each other..

The old woman (owner) is soooooooooo greedy. She keeps jacking up the prices. In Toronto's russian stores you can get everything for 1/2 price she is selling. And that's in very expensive city as Toronto, and in very expensive neighborhood. Here, in Edmonton, in one of the poorest and worst neighborhoods in Edmonton, she asking such a ridiculous prices. Forget it. No more I switched to Italian and German centers.
