Can't believe the deals here for the great quality produce. Nobody is allowed to complain about a moldy strawberry if they are getting it practically for free. Wash it, freeze it and pick the bad ones out and you are a smart shopper. Enjoy the rest! This store is amazing.

SCAMMERS ALERT!! We bought 3 strawberry boxes from there to be clear not from the discount centre and the next day they all got rotten. Their customer service is very bad and rude especially two big guys who act like managers usually found in the discount center counter are horrible to talk. TOO RUDE. We had the same experience with the dragon fruit and cherries two weeks before. This place not worth it at all waste of time and money!!we have learned our lesson!!

My experience is mixed. I love there collections. Fruits, vegetables, bakery item, indian spices and much more. Love their decorations. Well, if you're looking for cheap rotten food then this is a place you should shop. I could only spot a few "Fresh" items; as for the rest, good luck if you find any fresh produce. I applaud them for having the balls to open up a produce store of that size;however, they don't have enough demand to fit the supply. I am sure that there are people who benefit from buying here. and I guessing price is their main benefactor, other than that I don't know what sane people would feed their family dead carcass, unless it was only by necessity and no real choices available.

Super fresh produce, HUGE selection and fantastic prices! Even better if you can use bulk quantities (like flats of fruit), but there's tons available to purchase by weight. There's also a fantastic spice selection, a fresh juice bar with amazing prices, giant bags of nuts - all sorts of stuff. We go weekly now to stock up on our produce and are saving a ton.

This store was earlier opened only in Summer beside old Target location parking spot but now its all year long store with great fresh produce. You can buy it wholesale or retail. If you have any special requirenent and if you let the supervisor/cashier know then they will take care of it. Best store in North East of Calgary.

FRAUD! Swindlers! Bill image attached. They sell extremely poor quality vegetables and fruits that would have spent several days / weeks in cold storage. The cheating / fraud aspect starts with the billing date as shown in the bill copy. A fat Punjabi guy aged approx 40 years said to be the owner & manager, he also drives the forklift machinery. Threatened me and showed arrogance, anger, bad attitude when I went back to the open shopping area to show the fruits that were rotting from the inside. He and his helpers immediately collected the spoiled fruits at the entrance along with bill that was in intact shape, asked me not to go to the billing counter where several other customers where present. After this process they said they will not reverse the transaction value. I said ok give me credit so that I can re-purchase some other items in their store - they said even that is not possible as items where purchase several days ago. I said it was hardly couple of days ago. They showed me the bill date on the top left and said nothing can be done about it. I was in for a shock seeing the date on the bill. I verified the transaction message from the bank on my cell phone and showed them the other date on the lower portion of the bill (transaction details). He expressed anger, immediately tore and threw the bill to trash bill and said that's it! The attached image is not the actual bill(value 40$) destroyed by the owner. I could find this Fraud on the other bills as well. Quality: Inferior Price: Average Location: Outdoor tent setup at Sunridge mall parking lot.

Went to this new location today, very good pricing but one must be aware that some of the produce one is getting may not be as fresh as the more expensive places. Overall, a good experience and will return when in the area. Store's layout could use some changes as the aisles are very tight, certainly not as easy to get around in as the previous ex-Future Shop location.

Some produce are way cheaper than other groceries stores, for example, a bag of 5 bell peppers was 1.99 and if you buy 2 bags, they are only 3 dollars. Some produce are more expensive than other stores. Store is very well organized and clean; lots of room to maneuver in the shop comfortably. Lots of South Asian spice at competitive price.

I will never do groceries at this store again. I bought few groceries and a pan for 14 $, I came home luckily I tried to wash it before using it... we noticed some rust coming out of the pan and it gets worst few days later. I am so glad I did not use it. After a week or so I went to the store the manager refused to refund the money, he said it’s used and he did not apologize or did anything about the issue...

NOTE: this location is closed. The building they were in (an old Future Shop) is being torn down for new development. But the have a sign up that says they will be open in the Sunridge Mall parking lot. I imagine it will be just veg, not all of the other stuff they carried. I hope they get a new building for the winter! Really nice market! They should label it better. It's not just a really great produce market: they have a huge range of indian spices, snacks, lentils, beans, and canned foods. Really, everything but frozen and dairy products. I found several produce items there that I can't find elsewhere and everything was fresh. It's right across from Costco so I will start going their first for local produce. Great find. Wish they had a few frozen or fridge items like Paneer, but it's still a great place.

This is a great place to buy produce BUT you have to make sure to pick the good ones. Most boxes /cases of produce are mixed up (fresh ones and the bad ones). you have to make sure you pick the good ones before putting in your cart so you wont pay for something already bad and waste your money. Prices are really good tho????

Don't buy your fresh groceries anywhere else! This place is amazing. The staff speak English and are very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The prices are either the same or significantly less for all fresh produce than Loblaws, and far lower than Safeway or Co-op. I find the quality to be quite good if you're willing to sort through the selection. This week I bough 3x1lb packages of strawberries for $5 (total!) and didn't throw ANY away when I got home. I can't say that about clearance-priced fruit at any other store. The interior is well set up and variety is awesome. I never leave with items remaining on my list. If you're looking for authentic Indian or Pakistani cuisine and imported items they have a wide variety of that too, including some fresh made sweets and treats.

Scammer alert! Stay away from the discount bulk area. All their produce is rotten and molded. We bought a case of dragon fruit. Once we open it the dragon fruit was covered with mold. Every single fruit we cut in half was not edible. NOT SAFE TO EAT ! It was dark and very mushy. You can tell it was frozen and defrost for resell. They don’t let you check and see the produce. Just buy the whole case close. Too good to be true people. Stay away from these scammers and cheap price. You’ll be having rotten fruit Possible food poisoning. Oh by the way. Horrible customer service! Staff force you to take the rotten fruits and stare at you if you even dare to pick up the decent fruits. They told us we had to pick from the top! It is not even worth coming here. Who care if you have cheap price for rotten produce. You are better off go to your everyday grocery store for the same price of produce. Such as freestone ! At least they open the box and never told us how to spend our money ! We won’t be coming back and warning our family and friends not to come here!

What I bought so far on different dates 1. 3 packs of strawberries for $5, ok was good 2. Large watermelon, had a weird texture and bland taste that I never encountered before in my life and I come from a tropical country and ate a LOT of watermelons of different quality range but this melon was just STRANGE, we had to throw out without finishing because I could not understand what happened to the melon. Worst part was I already cut half and gave to my neighbor before tasting it myself because it LOOKED good. 3. Honeydew, bland it was like chewing water, cant explain it, didnt finish had to throw away 4. A case or cherry tomatoes, I bought this to donate to a community fridge but when I took them out, 2 out of 10 containers had MOLD in them which I had to throw away TLDR they sell at low prices but you have to pick carefully to even get edible produce. I didn't know it was legal to sell moldy produce in Canada. Wouldn't this be against public health or something? I probably wont go back because time is money too but if you have time to pick and prod you might get a good deal I guess.

Went to this location a few a days ago, as I was in need of some fruits however, I was shocked that the owner/staff practically force you to take the rotten fruits instead of the ripe ones in the back. Be aware that the staff will stare at you if you even dare to pick up the decent fruits. Not to mention their fruits aren’t up to pare.

I had a great experience despite others having issues with spoiled fruit/veg. I only paid $8.60 for all the stuff I got, which seems very reasonable compared to shops like Safeway and even Superstore. I find their large selection of produce (like fresh guava, papaya, and prickly pears) including nuts and other cooking ingredients to be far superior and at a lower cost from what I'm used to. The way it's organized outside is in a lineup form so you'll have lots of people passing you by, like in any other market. I'm happy with my purchase. Also they have a new location inside the mall that will open soon, I'm looking forward to it!

This place is better than freestone, but still be careful. Some of their items are amazing and fresh, others like the avacados I got last week are all rotten. But for a buck a bag of oranges or a honeydew you really cant beat their prices. Remeber to bring your own bags to save more money, and plan to spend more than 10min in the store. Great ethnic food and I love the bouncy castle inside, great for keeping the kids busy while you shop.

Very clean and welcoming. Discount area is priced to sell and items may be moldy. Buy at your discretion, but the flats are a great steal. The rest of the store is very well stocked and the produce is fresh, ripe, and cheap. Its a great place to go if you need bulk items like onions, strawberries, potatoes, and apples. They also have new specials everyday so check their Facebook page to see what they are featuring. They also have an extensive dry goods area with bagged lentils and beans and powdered milk and spices. You can even get fresh smoothies. A 20oz drink will only set you back about 5 bucks. Great store. Go there for all my produce!

Prices are great...very clean and organized...the only really annoying thing is the guy screaming in the store trying to sell the bulk boxes....you would shop peacefully then get freaked out by the loud screaming voice "$5 ...$10 a box" i think that's so unnecessary...everything is priced so no need to be screaming

Well Hit or miss You need to be really careful what u buy from here. I like the variety. Sometimes you find good quality stuff with good price, however, most stuff in boxes are medium quality and likely they will go to trash soon after buying. Advice to go early, around 11 is best: new stuff are in.

Feel free to come here if you want to be yelled at by staff. Staff here are so rude. Yelling at my parents and I for looking at fruits as well as making fun of our language when we were speaking to each other. They yell at you for looking at fruit when picking non moldy ones. They throw their fruits around in front of you taking out of your box when picking. When posting on their facebook page to let others know they delete the comment instantly. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. They will yell at you and make noises at you instead of speaking to you properly. Yes their product is cheap but because we weren't allowed to look, half of the strawberries we bought were rotten. They also do not know their own prices i had to pull up the facebook posting to get the right price as they would yell and not allow you to talk. There are many other store in calgary that sell cheap fruits and vegetables in bulk with MUCH better service and not as many rotten items.

Some of the staff are really nice and kind. The other times they're rude. This one man is cutting fruit with his knife and he wipes it on his pants! Like that is so unhygienic. Spreads a lot of germs and bacteria. It's even worse when the fruits probably aren't washed. And the fruit may seem fresh but they aren't. I bought mangoes not too long ago and they were spoiled. I just threw them in our compost. Other times however the fruits are fresh and they're a great price. But I feel like buying fruit here it goes bad super fast like a day or two after purchasing. I bought a bag of green apples for 1 dollar when usually they're like 7 or 8 dollars. And they were actually really fresh. So sometimes there's hidden gems.

I want to share one of the bad experience about this store on weekday.Most of the fruits were badly rottan, smelling differently and seems to be unhealthy. The staff was unprofessional and rude. costumers service -------????? This may be reason that prices may be little lower to other grocery stores. Not recommendable to friends or other calgarian. This is my personal view.

Wonderful place to shop fruits and veggies with superior quality. Prices are much better than the other competitors. Wide variety of fruits, veggies and Indian groceries. You can hear staff announcing about the deals in Hindi, that's not screaming, thats normal. You want awesome produce at affordable prices, then you should visit this place.

First time shopping at this store. Didn't know you need a loonies to get a cart so I asked the customer service. Instead of giving a cart, he charged my card $1 to give me the change. Where is the good customer service?? Like I just filled my cart of stuff. Don't think will be back. It's not worth it!

I was at this place recently. The workers here are loud! Also, I am trying to pick the boxes of mangoes but the two workers are talking to each other - I was in the middle and I was so close to them. Of course, they saw me, but they kept on talking with their Hindi or Indian Language. Very poor customer service! I will never come back.

Worst customer service, girl at the service counter was rude and arrogant. No complaints about quality of produce, you get what you pay for. LOW PRICE OF PRODUCE BUT YOU HAVE TO SORT THE EATABLE THING , OTHERWISE WHOLE LOT IS NEVER FRESH. CHOICE IS OF CUSTOMER Low price = low quality or vice versa. Location is good. Store staff need heaps of training and marketing skills. At least know how to talk with customer. Customer can find other place to shop. Management need to know that they are in business because of customers, customers has the option but business don't have the option without customer. Dear daily fresh produce management, improve your staff skills.

Very rude customer service. The discount centre is just a rip off. We bought a closed box of jack fruits the whole box was molded. We had the same experience with the case of mango and strawberry case. Today we went again and looking to buy a box of oranges. Just wanted to take a peek but the manager just ran over and told us in such a rude way “All boxes are same if you want good one then go buy from the side”. We were shocked with the insulting tone and so embarrassed. We will not go there again. They are BIG fraud and selling rotten fruits in closed in the name of discount. Their shop should be sealed for selling ROTTEN AND MOLDED fruits and making public fool in the name of discount and clearance.

I super-enjoyed my first trip to this store! The prices were pretty dang sweet, there was a wiiiiiide variety of produce, and the quality of the produce was about what you would find at another grocery store. They also have dried and canned foods sections that I haven't been through yet, but I plan to do a thorough sweep the next time I come back. Fair word of warning - lines may take a while to get through as there are only two cashiers/lanes, so don't stop in when you're already late to wherever you're going.

I bought a 25 lbs tomatoes case. When I weight at home. The actual weight was 21 lbs. Prices are very reasonable for full cases. But when you breakdown with quality and less weight than you are paying more than the fair market price.
