Yeah the donuts are great, but there is so much other cool stuff here. Nice washrooms and some really cool knick knacks. I seriously contemplated buying a skunk pelt for $35. What the hell would I do with a skunk pelt other than just own it and think it's cool. Seriously though, just stop and stretch your legs, grab a donut or an ice cream and support a local business.

I stopped there again this mrng june 15th 2020 and Mel was working and she was so nice n polite and funny that she needs a raise. I enjoy stopping there for the sandwiches n yummy donuts n the smiling face of the staff........This time the girl behind the counter was Mel n omg she was so nice n courteous and the donuts are spectacular n awesum n the girls there r very cute n adorable n very nice n chatty. I stopped there again today and pked up a dozen fresh donuts still warm and the girl behind the register I do believe her name was Krysta and she was do nice n very professional and definitely great tasting donuts again????Omg the donuts are homemade and fresh fresh fresh and still warm. The hamburgers are homemade also n juicy. I love stopping there for that reason. Fresh food

Pretty great little place that has a little bit of everything. They make donuts and when I was there they were selling like crazy by the dozens. This was my first time stopping after driving by it for years and I had a guy pull up to me and ask where the donuts were. People were eating them on their way back to their cars. Had a burger and potato wedges from Scotty's, it's a portable shack across the parking lot from the store, it was very tasty and they donate $1 to Ronald McDonald House from each burger sale.

This place isn’t much to look at when you first drive by but looks can be deceiving. People come from hours away for this little hidden treasure and there is a reason. Their donuts are to die for. They are fresh and usually hot right out of the fryer. You also have to try the cinnamon buns and the strawberry jam. You won’t find anything around that compares. If you are in the market for fireworks this is also your spot. ????

I also like to stock up the essentials like homemade ice cream sandwiches, local honey, salsa and oh yeah... fireworks. Lots of fireworks. A whole wall of various sized boom boom sticks. If you want to light up the night sky like an air raid over London in '44, this is where you would start. Crooked Creek has amazing doughnuts, served hot and fresh in a brown paper bag. I pick up doughnuts and a cup of hot, fresh coffee whenever I drive through through the area. Served hot and fresh in a brown paper bag, these doughnuts are hard to beat. The store is less known for all the other things they sell, from fireworks to locally produced honey to Watkins products to antique china. They have a wide selection of curios and neat things to check out. And they sell gas. It's a great little place to stop.

The Donuts here are amazing! Anyone that has tried one will tell you that they want another one! They always sell out because they are so delicious! They are homemade on site everyday. Ironically I try not to go there too much because I don't want their donuts to end up on my butt! A definite must try in one's lifetime. A bucket list item for sure for the family and yourself. Be careful you may end up with a new addiction! I now know why Homer Simpson likes Donuts the way he does. LMAO!

Stop for the doughnuts and stay to look around. You can purchase fresh baking, animal pelts (rabbit, wolf, bear, skunk, beaver, coyote, muskrat) and fireworks and then gas up. Worth the stop.

Love this place! Great cheerful and helpful staff, a very wide selection of (occasionally unexpected) items, a little seating area if you need a break from your drive, best fresh donuts ever, and a burger stand and ice cream stand in the summer. Also the local post office. People in the city forget that "General Stores" exist. Well, here's one. Bring your kids to show them, lol!

Every time I stop by coming from Grande Prairie I have to stop in to bring doughnuts home to the family. The wife and kids are in love with them. Staff are friendly and the store is very nice featuring all kinds of local goods and food. If your ever in the area stop in to this local gem.
