Great Food & Services Although I am repeatedly kicked out for loitering although i have purchased my lunch and have finished. even when i present my receipt i am still kicked out. there is only one staff member who is the problem and works around 11:58-12:38ish

It's a great grocery store that fits all your needs. They have a pharmacy, to-go food, and a huge selection of groceries. Next to it they also run a gas station, touchless carwash, and liquor store. Staff are friendly and know what they are talking about.

They are more expensive than most grocery stores but they offer a lot more in the hot food kitchen area, cheese bar and customer service. The kitchen always has a great selection of hot food ready to go throughout the day. They have a good selection of quality meat and vegetables. I only wish they offered more organic products throughout the store.

Really Bad service. I bought meal from "ready to eat". There's a tag on a red pepper. I asked the clerk whether they cleaned the pepper or not, he was quite rude and told me the tag is clean. I can't imagine if they don't clean the cook materials or tools. I live nearby and i would never buy their food. This store is not recommended. Update: I was looking for the manager in charge after conversation with the "ready to eat" chef and the manager wasn't there that time, I got a call from customer service one week later and the customer service clerk asked me what the "ready to eat" chef look like, management level would have a conversion with hime and they would avoid this rude situation to other customers next time and CO-OP refunded my meal payment.

My local grocery store, so I might be biased. It's small, and feels more like a corner store. Staff are always very helpful (and usually joking around with each other, which is nice to see). Store is clean, and items are well stocked. Easy to find everything. I don't like where the bread is, but not a big deal.

I am torn on this review, I really am. My initial experience was pretty good as I enjoyed the aesthetic of the location both inside and out; my first impression was 4 stars. Mainly, care had been taken to build the displays but I noticed it was deathly quiet, my initial thought was this is not a bad thing to have on an evening shop as it would make the shopping swift. That said, the customer service was not as good as competitors and so I deducted .5 stars for this. Another half ⭐️ was deducted because of the noticeably more expensive items when you compare to competitor stores of Sobeys, Safeway and Walmart. I would have been happy to pay the extra cost per dollar for a nice looking and diverse grocery store so long as the customer service matched the aesthetic. I will try this store again in a few months to hopefully up the review. Please note, this is constructive feedback and I did enjoy the experience overall. That said, I cannot in good faith give this a an overly positive review (4⭐️ or more). Thanks CO-OP for providing a really nice atmosphere to shop!

Closed the till while I was next in line, self check outs all closed and only one other till open, now it was 9 PM but the sign on the door says open until 10, there were 4 employees standing upfront. I had friends that worked at COOP and they were paid well and appreciated their job, if you dont like what you do go find another career, if it's all you can find maybe you should appreciate the paycheck and stop taking it out on customers. To the lady doing the self check out .

Love this location! It is clean, organized, well-stocked and filled with lots of friendly, helpful staff. It has a great curry bar, a Spolombos counter where you can build a great sandwich (local Calgary Italian business too!) and Cluck & Cleaver chicken (yay! Another Calgary biz and the best fried chicken I have tasted). Kids can grab a free piece of fresh fruit to nibble on while you shop from a basket from the front door too!

Customer service is absolutely horrible at the pharmacy. They don't acknowledge you when you are waiting and will ignore you and let you stand there. I waited 20 minutes before anyone asked to help me, There was no one in front of me waiting. I too work in the business of customer service and I at least say hello I will be with you shortly. When I finally did get help, I was told 20minutes for my prescription. I went back a couple of hours later. The gentleman told me I didn't have a prescription. I said was just there. Then he looked me up and said. Oh you said you didn't want it today and to keep it on file. Not what happened. Once I got my prescription, I was told the price. I asked if they had tried my benefits number. They said it didn't work. I understood that it may not have worked. The right thing to do would have been to double check with me what the number was. I have had to go to here for prescriptions for my job, same treatment. Go somewhere else if you can. Not a great experience at all..

CO-OP used to be great. Then they followed the liberal progressives and started “saving the world” one bag at a time. Pay for bags, no more grocery coupons when you gas up and the shareholder rebate is minuscule even if you so spend thousands there. So much for being a loyal customer.

We dropped in for a free flu shot..big mistake. .there were forms to fill out at the entrance. .which was fine..but then we went to the pharmacy area..chaos. ..no numbers...no lines ..No one to take the forms..people milling about....we left...crossed the street to shoppers drug mart...quick professional and done...

Co-op is always a good grocer. Members receive discounts on groceries from fuel purchases and all their service stations are one of only a few that offer free air to fill your tires. Prices are competitive and they have weekly sales. Meat and produce are always fresh. Members recieve an annual shareholder cheque based on the amount of money they have spent there over the previous year. As a cooperative, members are able to vote on organization leadership.

We bought a ready to eat meal here. There was a big tag on a roasted sweet pepper. It was nasty. We went to their staff and they told us their food is very clean, it's okay they just missed one tag on the pepper. So dispointing as we went to this store all the time. Their service was totally awful!

Some good. Mostly bad. West Springs Coop is where produce goes to DIE! The worst I've ever seen. Also, we jokingly refer to this location as "Comrade Coopsky's" because there are frequently so many holes in the shelves that it is like shopping in the Soviet Union. Staff are friendly and helpful, but the management is obviously incompetent - especially the grocery department. The Safeway at Aspen is much better AND CHEAPER than this location.
