Food prices are way over priced and very limited selections, barley keep the shelves stocked on popular items and when I asked why the prices are so high compared to other super markets they respond by saying "We carry higher quality food products", in my experience for working in couple high end restaurants their quality for food is well below restaurant standards, I bought tomatoes there and went bad a day later, cucumbers are the same as Walmart and that went bad in 2 days, I look for quality in my foods and I know damn well that "No Frills" has better quality than Co-op

It's a little ratty inside, kinda busy, and lots of dodgy characters in the quir busy parking lot. But it's well stocked and otherwise your typical CO-OP. So you'll be able to find your chicken and hot dogs easy enough. I'll be back again mostly because it's conveniently located.

This is a very pleasant co-op. It has a loyal community clientele. The employees are friendly and helpful. They keep the carts and baskets sanitized. And they have hand sanitizer available. They do a great job collecting food for the needy. The bin is always full for the people who need groceries. Enjoy your time here, and if you can manage please donate to the bin to feed less fortunate! Cheers.

Really frustrating when they never have stuff in stock. Its a waist of time when your almost done grocery shopping and need a few more items and they are sold out. I've complained several times yet they still don't fix the problem where other coops are fully stocked all the time. Worst coop in calgary. I'm actually telling ppl to not even bother shopping here. Waist of time. EDIT : I will no longer be shopping at coop ever again

Service is fine. The prices are insanely high compared to Safeway or Superstore. Had a gift card and it's the only reason we shopped here. Left disappointed at the lack of value for the product. Everything is $2 or $4 more than other stores. Wouldn't recommend COOP to anyone wanting to be find a deal.

I used to come here all the time for the curry, whoever used to make the curry was fire. I noticed two weeks ago the curry was a different consistency. It's more soupy now and doesn't taste authentic anymore. The color used to be a bright orange with tons of species. The color is now a lighter orange that is less flavorful with a soupy consistency.

Love this store, all the staff is so friendly and helpful. The recent reno has helped and the foregin/ethnic grocery selection has improved. The store manager is a complete jerk so steer clear of him if possible. He is always yelling at the staff and putting them down right in front of the customers. One time I witnessed him treating a customer that way too and I was appalled.

Getting so tired of false advertising! This week the flyer looks like it has buy 1 get 1 free mangoes, but it isn't even though it's in that section of the flyer. Go in to buy it and get told it doesn't apply...after a poor experience earlier this summer with co-op not honoring their app anymore I'm done! It will be a long time before I grace co-ops doorway again.

Mary a cashier is EXTREMELY rude. Followed my husband and I around the store like we were stealing. We noticed as we were leaving she was was taking a picture of our license plate with her personal cell phone. We immediately turned around and went back into the store to confront her as to why she was doing that at which point she refused to give us her name so we could report her. The store manager was more helpful and gave us her name so we could call corporate to file complaint. Unacceptable way to handle a grocery store.

Great employees. Short staffed at peak hours but not as badly as other retailers. Could make checkout faster at peak hours, but the staff make everything as efficient as possible. Very friendly and enjoyable shopping atmosphere.

I don't really like this location personally and only go if I really need too, the one on 68th is better. This one always seems dirty, and I think that's mainly because the building is pretty old and in need of a renovation. The staff also seems to not give a damn that you're even there, as well as has trouble with communicating with each other. We had issues with our community meeting being kicked out of the meeting room last second because they double booked, told us it was our fault and were quite rude. There is free community meeting rooms add a coop gas bar.

The last 6 times I have gone here, looking for the simplest of items (think roasted chicken, blueberry pie, iced tea, etc) and I have walked out empty handed because they never have the items I am looking for. It sucks as this "grocery store" is a block away from my house. I also find the prices exorbitant compared to all the other stores around. Go to the nearest Safeway or Superstore and save yourself the extra trip and money.

Hard to find staff but they offer a good amount of fresh made food. Otherwise, quality is consistent for produce, meat, and poultry. The only thing annoying is that they block off access to the mall on certain days which means you have to exit the store to reach the mall.

Would give them 5 stars but you have to making a lot of money to shop here. Last I checked a 1 kg package of chicken breast was 35 dollars. Same thing at other stores was 11-18 dollars.

I absolutely love the produce, and bakery, but Co-op is to pricey for most items. While I don't mind paying a little extra for produce, and fresh baked items, the deli assortment is sparse and most grocery items are significantly higher priced than many other grocery stores.

The pharmacist working there today named charlene or whatever her name is, was very unprofessional and impolite in dealing with customers she keeps giving stupid comments about the situation which were not helpful and she said it’s just her own personal thoughts even though I was not talking to her. Please tell her that if she does not have anything relevant to say to just keep her mouth shut and let Grace who is a way better and more polite person, deal with your customers so you won’t lose them, like me.

This is a smaller store than some of the other locations so there is very little organic produce. The bakery selections are minimal with hardly nothing in bulk so a couple bagels for Sunday morning is not possible. Fine for a smaller shopping experience but prefer the bigger store selections. There is a gas bar so that is a positive.
