Very disappointed to day. Shopped for groceries and then tried to use the Co-op annual rebate check that was sent to us and cashier told us that Co-op would not accept it because of cobid 19. No one else had touched the check since it came out of the mail envelope. I asked if they would take cash that has been handled by who knows how many people. No problem taking that regardless ob cobid-19. Go figure. Who makes these ridiculous decisions. Had to go to the credit union. The teller said there were a lot of unhappy co-op members coming in with the same frustration. Does not look good for Co-op when bad decisions like this our made. ????

I love co-op stores and the thing I love about moving to the Red Deer area from Calgary is that I got them back! This store is amazing. There are some gems here for sure, found me some Faygo Root Beer on my first visit! Will definitely be back!

I live close and constantly walk here to get groceries. Big isles, packed full (most of the time). Lots of brands and choices. Most of the employees are quite nice. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is one older lady who works on the tills is very unpleasant. I won't mention any names of course but she scowls at customers and can be quite rude.

I'm not sure why the staff at this location are so unfriendly??. The one lady (starting with the letter S and ends with y. I don't want to say her name on the review which is public) was extremely unfriendly. Absolutely terrible service. Other grocery stores I attend have way better service. I will not be making an effort to shop here!.

My advice to everyone who needs to mail packages is to avoid the Post Office at the Deer Park Co-op. If you've already used this outlet, there's a good change that you've probably been overcharged Tonight I sent my granddaughter in to mail a package and buy some prepaid postage stickers. Before she went in, I advised her that the package should not be more than $3.35 ($3.19 + .16 cents GST). I know this because I've mailed over 50 of these packages. I've gone to 2 different postal outlets and I have never had any package returned due to insufficient postage. Well, we don't know if the woman at the counter was inexperienced or just cranky, but she insisted that the package would be more than $3.35 and that was the end of it. I don't get it .... 2 different postal outlets charge $3.35 and this one at the Deer Park Co-op says more for the exact same package. Interesting.

Parking lot sucks but the store itself has everything I need. 1 stop shop food and beer a few doors down. Cant ask for more. I'd give it a higher rating but the parking lot alone makes this a 2nd choice for me

Friendly staff, convenient location and hours, has a gas bar, liquor store and a pharmacy! I'm a member so I get a rebate / dividends cheque every year. Decent selection. Store has a deli and bakery with fresh products daily.

Love this place. I have Non-Celiac Gluten Intolerance, and they have a great variety of GF items, including many from their house brand. And as a member I get money back every year based on what I spend. I also find it convienient that there is a post office inside as well.

They have a great staff, all friendly and helpful. Their meat staff are very good at what they do and help me with the biggest expense in my grocery cart. The only drawback is the store is older in it's layout. I prefer a more modern layout like Sinnott's Independent or COOP in Timberlands.

If you care about your safety I would highly advise against shopping here. Just got back from a quick shopping trip and spotted multiple people not wearing any mask. Take your business somewhere that cares about your safety and properly complies with the mask mandate. It's unacceptable that 12 months into the pandemic they have not figured out masking. I will not be shopping here in the future.

Pretty standard grocery store. Gets quite busy at times but there are usually lots of people working the tills. Doesn't get 5 stars due to the parking lot. It is a nightmare! Crazy busy and too small for all the businesses in the Co- op plaza.

Quick good service that delivered excellent food. The ginger chicken was different but very good. Curried chicken medium spice was what I expected. Both dishes were large portions. Rice was ordered separately. Two dishes and small rice was $34 and change so no inexpensive.

A nice, cozy place to shop. They often have really good deals on a variety of foods, and they have a deli/kitchen that makes awesome prepared meals. My wife and I often come here just for the deviled eggs alone.

Mark and Kevin are awesome at packing my cart and helping me unload it into my vehicle. I also enjoy the familiar, friendly faces at the check- out. The Co-op app enables me to plan my grocery list, taking advantage of specials and coupons and I enjoy my dividend check once/year. Excellent fresh bread and buns. We sometimes special order if we need a large quantity for an event and they'll slice the buns for a minimal fee.

I purchased a propane tank and a fill here which I used 3 times for about 2 hrs per time when suddenly the tank is empty ,when I called the management to inform them what happened she said she would look for my info as I didn't keep my receipts ( who keeps a receipt for propane) 4 days later I call back as I have heard nothing only to be told by management " I'm busy maybe you can come in and purchase more propane ,I was appaled at $70 a pop for new tank and propane ,I will never shop there again and neither will any of my family that use to shop there. Very bad practice coming from management!!!!!!

I find this co-op is much like any other. Nothing about it will stand out from any other co-op. That being said I still prefer co-op over most other grocers from time to time. I find it's layout more open than other co-ops which is refreshing. Regardless for the most part it is a larger more spread out co-op.

Just went through the express lane with 15 items. 9:20 Wednesday evening. The cashier asked me which 10 items I wanted to ring through. The sign says about 10 items. She told me she was all about the rules. I said the sign says about 10 items.She goes on about how this would be problem during the day. Just worked 14 hours and have to listen to this...I thought it was rude! Not shopping there anymore.
