over priced not a smile. im not one to complain about buying health food for an increased price but when I go to a grocery where its in a package and the bulk barn is not at a reduced price for example I got chia seeds for 14$ at 25% off and in store for the same amount I could get it for 30 full price its almost not worth it

Lots to choose from here. Beware the delicious temptation that is the candy aisle. (????) I love that I can buy as much or little as I need of whatever it is that I'm looking for. Lots of parking and the store is accessible, tho the door squeaks loudly when you walk on. The staff are helpful and knowledgable. Checking out can take a while as they only have a few registers. The store is bright and clean and the bins are well stocked.

This is my preferred location - everything is fresh, the store is kept clean constantly and staff are polite and helpful. Even though it is a longer drive for me to get to this location, I am impressed with their careful attention to maintain a healthy environment and a well stocked shop. Well done!

The have a lot of selection. Way more than RCSS or any other supermarkets that I've been too. Pricing is slightly cheaper than RCSS. Their baking ingredients are cheaper than Michael's.

Always has good selection and the staff are friendly. Plenty of parking which is nice and easy to get to. Some things aren't cheap but if you pay attention to the specials you can find some good deals. Perfect place to get spices when you only need a little bit

Lots of choices for foods, spices, food ingredients and teas and coffee. Also a good variety of candy and nuts. Plenty of pet foods. Some peanut butters, and other nut butters. And a decent drink selection. Recommended place to go if you want gummy candy bc they have a huge variety at a better cost than most stores selling prepackaged gummies

Clean, well laid out, helpful staff. The option to buy 'as little or as much' as you want is truly the benefit, not so much price. Know your prices elsewhere (per 100g), as many things are far more expensive here when bought in bulk (cereal is a good example).

I honestly wish I could rate them 0 stars. I was there around a mi th ago with my kids and I was grabbing some stuff... my toddler was playing walking through the aisle placing his hand on top of the containers but not even opening them; when all of a sudden ihear an associate yelling HANDS OFF! To someone when i turn around i notice it was to my kid... my blood boiled and walked out of the store; called and requested a manager and as i'm about to explain she is like yeah you were here and your kid had his hands inside of a container so i explained that is not the way to talk to anyone let alone a kid and that he could have referred to me if that was the situation when why acultually happened it's that that specific container had no lid and she went on to explain that they were working on it, but here was no one around, she made excuses and defended the employee which it was beyond ridiculous. never ever going back to that location i have driven to the south since the. to do my shopping and the employees over there are attentive, respectful and nice.

I love Bulk Barn for spices, grains, and hard to find items. The spices are always fresh and you can buy just the amount you need. They also have a variety of grains for making bread, including gluten flour to make your bread lighter.

Love this Bulk Barn! They always have friendly staff working and an assortment of candy, nuts, dried fruits, granola, teas and apparently dozens of flours and a bunch of different protein powders and even powder collagen too! Today I bought some rainbow noodles and I'm hoping it looks cool and taste great for my chicken alfredo lol. Next time I'm there I'll snap some more pictures since there's surprisingly not many on here ????

The first time I came here the staff were very friendly and I was impressed with the selection. The second time, I paid more attention to prices and started doing math in my head. The items here per 100 grams aren't even slightly cheaper than buying pre packaged products at a grocery store. Shouldn't that be Bulk Barn's thing?? If things were a little cheaper, I would gladly buy a large amount of things our family uses a lot, but if it's the same price than I have absolutely no incentive to come here. Won't be returning. Very poor decision making by whoever is in charge of pricing.

Many Years ago I applied for a job. Thankfully didn’t get it. The interview was full of red flags. Was told a story of why the hiring manager made their 16 year old son work In a quarry. Then some rants on when they hired male employees that they would never show on time and such. Mostly just sexist indirect comments towards men. I am older now and realized how bad that experience really was, and wish I knew enough at the time to get the ministry of labour involved. I also recently learned the only reason why I had an interview at the time was because my mother was shopping and they mentioned throwing male resumes right in the trash in the aisle beside her, so she confronted them. But it was a blessing in disguise because I ended up getting a better paying job and have moved up.

this place is amazing I don't understand the poor reviews as when I walked into the door I was greeted by Mark with a friendly smile and as I approached the corn syrup Tristan another employee visit me with quite enthusiasm and eagerness to help. as I was walking out I was then received by Steph an elderly woman who I thought was just a customer and we began to talk but as I left I didn't realize she was also an employee. As I continued on my way to leave the store I was then greeted by Elke yet another employee to see had my visitbend to my satisfaction. Five stars over all cuz I've never been greeted and approached by all employees in a business establishment

This location is kept very well kept. It is bright and clean with friendly and professional staff. While I was shopping a young male accosiate was sweeping and making sure he went under the bins to get fallen items, other staff were very pleasant when I had questions. The young lady at the check out (Ciara) engaged me in conversation and was responsive when I asked questions. Great place to shop.

However this one does not carry dog items like others if people are interested in the travel for that.

Advertised open until 6. Posted a sign on the door saying they were closed at 5 for inventory. I get it, you gotta count everything to keep track. It's not quite the 31st yet though and closing an hour early probably won't help get it done any faster. You lost a customer today for this inconvenience. Guests should come first and it's clear that this isn't the focus at this store.

Went here for Halloween this year. I asked the manager the day before if it would be possible for some of the staff to scoop up a random bag for each of the kids when we came in and she was ok with it. They went above and beyond!!! They were waiting for us with take-out boxes filled with a candy assortment. My kids had so much fun. Thank you to all of the staff. You guys are amazing.

First time to go and last. Over priced. No scale so I can see how much I got. I was surprised with the prices on the receipt. Although I checked the receipt in front of their door. Went back to return an item but the supervisor refused. He said “We have No return policy.” So once they get your money, they don’t give it back. I won’t recommend it

Worms were found in the All-Purpose flour I bought there about a week ago... When we called the floor supervisor was SHOCKED and it was very much heard in her voice. She did not handle the phone call as a supervisor should, there was absolutely no reassuring us that she would look into it, to be completely honest, based on the shock in her voice, she did not know what to do... She did say that we could return and get a refund but, she did not take our name, or phone number, or transaction number. Writing this review not to hurt the company but to warn fellow customers! My significant other actively works in food safety and quality assurance and with a little research it sounds like these worms THRIVE in an environment such as bulk barn. The worms will migrate and live in any flour based foods including other flours and cereals!

I love this place for all the gluten free flours! Lots of other good stuff as well - liquid stevia (Sweet Leaf brand), nutritional yeast, etc. This is one of the smaller stores. Prices are usually higher than Costco, but you can buy small quantities.

I just watched the service offered to a woman with some physical limitations. A young lady held her arm when stepping off the curb and carried her purchase to the car for her. Kudos to that young lady and her employer!
