It's never a quick experience because there is always a long line up with only 1 or 2 tills open. Also, you can buy Christmas trees here but they don't sell Christmas tree food! I asked the staff and the staff whips out their phone and gives me a home made recipe ... Then someone close to the exit tries to sell you something. Not the ideal shopping trip and the prices aren't low enough to go the extra mile.

If you don't want your guests to stay, paint your guest room yellow. I cannot help but be reminded of this adage everytime I'm in this uncomfortable store. Produce is generally quite good with decent variety. Prices are also pretty good. It is far from the one stop shop it was as an Extra Foods but it's a good budget friendly option for the basics.

Don't usually go anymore-became weary of incorrect pricing at till and understaffed tills. If you're up to it, pay close attention as they ring you up. Then almost guaranteed, claim scanning code of practice and get your incorrectly priced item for free! I just don't want to be bothered anymore. Don't go if you're short on time.

They have the cheapest produce and meat ever! There’s prolly not much difference on the price compared to other grocery stores in the area but 10 cents is still a huge amount esp if you’re buying tons of supplies. They also have this feature that if you see that their price of a certain product is higher than the other markets, you can show it to them and they will lower theirs (beat the price, I think?). I’m not exactly sure about this but I have been told that they almost always restock and have new produce and meat every Thursday. You can ask their staff just to make sure.

I love this location! Very friendly and helpful staff. Didn't give 5 stars because the Produce isn't the greatest, they don't offer online shopping, which makes grocery shopping with a little one a lot easier and more affordable ????, and they don't carry Grimm's brand jalapeno and cheddar sausages so I always have to go to elsewhere afterward. HOWEVER, don't get me wrong, it's a super clean store, great prices and easy to shop. My favourite place for groceries in High River by far!

This story has great staff. Having used this store many times I find the staff to be very helpful and down-to-earth/laidback and approachable while maintaining a professional attitude. The check line always moves fast and staff maintain a clean and sanitized environment. The lot is cleaned often and you can always find a clean cart and or basket. Shopping early is best because they are a popular place and inevitably people pick over the fresh products early in the day, however the staff are vigilant at removing damaged product. They have some of the best meat prices on “large/bulk” items I have found in the area. Their freezer is cold! As in my ice cream is still frozen after a 45min drive home. I like this!!! As busy as this location is I have always found my essentials: milk, butter, cheese, bread and some kind of meat has always been available.

This no frills was awesome when 1st opened. In the last 12 months it has gone downhill. Milk cooler is filthy. Selection is slim. Often short on many of the items on my usual list, like dog food, bacon, frozen fish... and the bathroom is a nightmare. Good prices and friendly checkout staff.

It seems every time I come their shelves are empty and they don’t have the basics I need. The checkout line was the length of the front and side freezers and took 15-20 minutes to get through. Their sign at the carts says they’ve been sanitized however I see the employees take carts directly from the corrals and put up front with these ‘sanitized’ carts without sanitizing any of them ????????‍♀️I clearly need to stop coming here because it’s behind frustrating when I do.

Produce from this store goes bad very quickly. They have removed the larger baskets in favour of half carts. You need a loonie for the half carts. They suggest that if you do not have a loonie talk to one of their cashier's. Given the usual wait time just to buy groceries. I don't have time to get a loonie when I don't carry cash in the first place. But the staff is much more friendly since the new management.

I really love shopping at this no frills especially it the only place I get my groceries but today the cashier wa so rude and snoby i didn't feel welcome and like I understand people have bad days but why take it out on your customers right any other day and past days my experience there is always 5/5 but today it was 2/5 my wife cried in the car back home because of how upset it made her be sides that the store is awesome great service and really nice warming people that work there makes me proud to shop there besides today. This experience put me down but it will not stop me from shopping there as Andrew and Jessica no frills is one of if not the welcoming places to walk in and get groceries

This store has a great selection of everyday groceries as well as a number of international products. Their produce section is well stocked, and they have the best bananas I have ever bought. The cashiers are friendly and fast, and this location also has a gas bar in case you need to fill up your car. I highly recommend this store.

Check your receipt, its wrong almost every time. If you think your going to pay what the price that the shelf says, think again. You have to either watch closely at the check out or check your receipt. And then, since they have no customer service, you get to stand around for some extra time while they try to find someone to sort it out. In this day and age, this is unacceptable.

They are allowing people without masks to come in and shop. When I asked if the guy heard we had a mask rule now and they had some on the table, hr started yelling at me about how I dont know his medical history and he can't wear one and how he just dealt with "one of you" in calgary. This is why covid is spreading so much. If I cant smoke in your store these people should be stopped from coming in without a mask.

The frozen food area is dirty. Like wipe the cases in the middle of the isle. And forget about getting Optimum points. They are never awarded here and I have to file a missing points transaction everytime. Shop in Okotokes, way cleaner and you ALWAYS get your optimum points!

I am new to High River and have been to Stephen's No Frills about 20 times now. I have yet to see the store without ridiculously long lines. I have never seen a business under staff to this level. The shelves are usually quite bare and I find myself taking boxes of product from the top shelves to get the item I require (I also put the product in the appropriate location, which the staff seems incapable of). The lines have caused me to take my business to Co-op, which is a shame, because I enjoy President's Choice products.

Went through cashier and then noticed that my apples were coded as squash. Advised that I had to go to till 5 to get it fixed. Store was busy and cashier said I had to go to go end of line again to get to get it fixed. Not impressed and left store without getting it corrected. There has to be a faster way to correct cashier errors without this inconvenience
