Amazing service and super personal. My order didn't arrive on Mother's Day and when I called, they made it a priority to figure out why. The error was with Teleflora who handles their web ordering but Dak's owners upgraded my floral arrangement at no additional cost to me for the trouble -- and hand-delivered them to my mom by the owner with his apologies. Will order with them again! Thank you, Heidi and Marty. The flowers were gorgeous and my mom was over the moon happy. You saved the day!

Easily the best place in Windsor to buy flowers for all occasions. I have been going to this store for several years. I ordered an Azalea plant from their website. Unfortunately, what they delivered was very different than the picture of the plant on their website. On the website the picture shows around 20 Azaleas. What they delivered had at the most 10 Azaleas. You can see the difference in the pictures that I upload here. Also the shape and the color of the planter was not the same as the picture on their website. very disappointing.

Horrible experience, we live in Ontario and we’re tasked with sending the flowers (along with a few other things) for my nieces first anniversary, we saw a bouquet we really liked online but the only problem was that it had a few items (balloon, sign, etc.) indicating that it was a “it’s a girl” bouquet, we not only left an order not asking for those decorations to be replaced with anniversary decorations (and a shop for a shop like this it’s vital to check order notes for reasons like this, along with what should be put on the card) but we also called and asked if it was okay for that change to be made, the response that we received is that it was common practice and that we’d be good to go. The flowers that were sent still had the “it’s a girl” decorations (and we’re sent to the front door against my order note). When we called back we were speaking with a woman named Denise (who by the way did the best she could, and I’d like to thank her for her help), but Denise expressed that it was the store’s mistake and that the owner Heidi would call us back with some kind of resolution. When Heidi called back she was incredibly rude and condescending, and her solution to the problem was that we pay another delivery fee so that she could replace the “it’s a girl” bouquet with one that had happy anniversary decorations, as a fellow business owner that’s incredibly worrying because during these times it incredibly dangerous to reuse products given to a customer already (which I can only assume is what would happen with the returned flowers). So in summary I asked for accommodations, was told that it was no problem, just to be embarrassed in front of my family, and then spoken to in a way nobody should be talked to, let alone a disgruntled customer who simply wants the service he payed for.

I just want so bad to use the right words to express how incredibly impressed I was the Dak's!!! I had called last minute to have flowers that day and I was also very undecided of what I wanted. The girl on the phone was absolutely AMAZING!!! I know dealing with the public isn't always easy but she kept her cool and her professionalism incredibly well!!! Now, the flowers....GORGEOUS!!! Exactly what I wanted and more......the more being the Bells of Ireland. I had a hole day planned today for a Christmas scavenger hunt... I specifically asked the guy if I can have it at 10 am.. he said no problem. I dropped off the first clue to him so he can deliver it in the flowers.. and the flowers came at 8:50am.. screwed the hole day and the hole day planning the hunt.. everything relied on that time. I called and they said the driver must have missed that time.. I'm not happy and messed up my Christmas to go along with the pandemic...

Dak's Flowers in Tecumseh are officially my go-to florist for flower deliveries for my family! I ordered this bouquet for my mom in March for her birthday off their website. But got a call the next morning (possibly from Dak himself) that told me the original bouquet I had selected for delivery had been out of stock for a few months, but his wife was willing to do her best to replicate the original bouquet & try to keep the same colouring style as displayed along with fancying it up with some birthday balloons or signage. Dak was really accommodating in trying to meet my flower needs, very professional in ensuring that the delivery would be on time, reading over my online instructions. On the delivery day, I got the sweetest text & call from my mom saying how much she loved the flowers! Though there were no balloons or fancy birthday signs, the arrangement was gorgeous and I was ecstatic to see all the photos my mom had taken. Thank you Dak's Flowers! Your wife is incredibly talented and service was very seamless for delivery arriving on time, leaving me with not too much to worry about out of town. Will be recommending your shop to family, friends & colleagues in the future in the area :)

A gentlemen for Dak's called me within a half hr of placing the order to ask if I would be okay with a substitution of tea cups due to delay with supplies. He spent time explaining how they could make up the arrangement. He was opened about my suggestions. Dak's made me feel like my order and business was important, my mom was important and they did an amazing job. Honestly I highly recommend Dak's. We ordered flowers for my grandmother for her birthday. Unfortunately, she passed in the early hours of her 86th birthday. We called to have the flowers held so that we could use them for the funeral instead. Dak's helped us every step along the way, from increasing the display to better celebrate her life (rather than her birthday) and to sending them to the funeral on time. They even picked new flowers - rather than the ones they had already created for the birthday display - to ensure a full and beautiful bloom. Beautiful flowers with prompt delivery. The only place I could find that was open 7 days a week and would deliver on a Sunday. They didn't have an exact item available and they called to verify it was ok to substitute. The arrangement that was delivered was beautiful and was close to what I ordered. No complaints at all!

Within a couple of hours of ordering, Dak's called me as the containers on the website were last year's models and were very helpful letting me know what they had to substitute for them. Terrible! They didn't follow my instructions for what flowers to use and even worse all but one type of flowers died in a couple of days, the roses didn't open at all. They died in a COUPLE OF DAYS not a week later. And as I said the roses died without ever opening (and yes, they were in water properly taken care of). And you're sorry I feel this way? Which way, that I expect flowers at least not to die without opening? It was my first time trying Dak's because of the reviews, but never again!

I ordered flowers for my wife for our anniversary and one day after I got them the flowers died so I called them and they came a replaced them. It took 3 times and each time the arrangement was different and wasn't put together nicely so when I called the third time the owner was very short and really didn't care. Very unimpressed considering how much they were.

When I ordered an Azalea plant on line they called and said three people had ordered them the same day and could I wait a week for the next shipment - pandemic shortages understandable. On planned delivery day one week later they did not come - when I called was told they had called me and were told nobody would be home on agreed day - but they called the wrong house and not me. Understandable delay of additional 2 days with the wires crossed so the plant came 9 days after requested online. In the end the plant was delivered and it is gorgeous. Well worth the wait. Love the personalized positive attitudes of the staff.

Absolutely the freshest flowers! I have been the lucky recipient of TWO arrangements from Dak's in the past two months (birthday and Mother's Day). My new son-in-law from Chicago ordered them from out-of-town, trusting that they would both 1) be as ordered; and 2) arrive as scheduled. I am delighted to report that Dak's delivered as promised on both points (including Mother's Day Sunday delivery). When placing an order with an out-of-town vendor, I'm certain a lot of other places might cut corners, figuring that the sender would never know.
