I wanted to support local small businesses during this crazy Covid time. Michael was so friendly and we were able to choose flower colours (purple and yellow) and style that I knew my friend would like. She LOVED them! She was so happy when she received her birthday brightness! Michael sent me photos of the transaction receipt, and the delivered flowers so that I could see the beautiful arrangement myself. This is an amazing flower shop. I wanted to send a special arrangement to my friend who was going through some difficult times and Michael's delivered beyond my expectations. From the moment I ordered on their website to the delivery of the flowers they were in constant communication with me. Not that I asked but they wanted to make sure everything was done perfectly. OMGGG!! I went there just to buy flower as a gift then the owner came he was so nice and make me a new bouquet immediately it took only 5 mins. he told me nicely that I can call first next time so I don’t have to wait BUT looking at him making that bouquet one by one was so enjoyable. I only discovered this when I called later in the day to check on the delivery. All to say, Michael put a truly exquisite bouquet together at the last moment and delivered it himself at the end of the day. On my second order with him, he drove HIMSELF out to Richmond at the end of the day because I told him how important it was to have a special bouquet delivered! I believe he did this out of the goodness of his heart! I found this place and I am so happy that I chose this place in downtown Vancouver. I saw he has 5 stars with about 100 feedbacks which was really odd to me. I change direction and chose this place with higher reviews. At very first, I walked in and I saw there is no flower bouquet to buy, so I decided to leave and suddenly I faced a gentleman with a big smile that made me feeling like I know him for a long time, I asked him if they have any premade bouquet and he answered I can customize one for you with our fresh flowers, so I got even more excited now to see my own customized flower. He was alone and was so busy and with reviews I saw, I was sure that my order would be perfect. He was working so focused, but at the same time he was asking me about the reason for flower. Whenever he finished, as I told him that the flower is for birthday, he gave me a complimentary birthday balloons. I paid for the bouquet and I was super happy and amazed, but it wasn't finishing here. He walked me out to make sure I am happy with my flower. Lastly at the door, he picked up one of his small flower pots and packed it properly and provided to me as gift for my first visit. I'm telling you now that I was never been happier than this on any of my other purchases before. Now I know why he was 5 out of 5 for that many reviews and he would be my only flower place to buy flower from in downtown Vancouver as long as he is there. I wanted to send my aunt in Vancouver flowers, but I am in Manitoba so I didn't know how to go about it, or who to choose. After searching at least 5 florists in Vancouver I came across Flowers by Michael. A lot of the arrangements I was finding were more money than I wanted to spend, but when I found this birthday cake flower arrangement I was in love. I called Michaels and had them deliver it to her, requesting a morning delivery. They were true to their word and this arrangement made my aunt so happy and excited for her 81st birthday. And worth every dollar. *I was surprised when I found out that Michael also included 3 free Sunflowers with the Birthday cake arrangement, and the Lindor Chocolates & birthday balloon that I had purchased. Michael is great. Not only did he provide a beautiful bouquet of flowers built to my budget and specifications, he added some special touches to make the experience special. Being a guy we tend to overlook the smaller aspects that a good flower shop can provide at a great value. Such as, a few roses turned to pedals, or a simple bouquet of in-season flowers to compliment the environment you've set up. For me everything worked out perfectly. I slaved over a dinner, where my girl brought a bottle of rose wine. The tulips he provided with happened to be pink, which matched both the wine and the rose pedals he threw in. All in all, he helped me create an exceptional experience and I truly recommend him to anyone looking for a flower shop with a special touch. Thanks Michael. p.s. I've ordered flowers about 4 times now as I'm so happy with his arrangements. He does not do the generic Teleflora arrangements that I see some local florists doing. He adds his own touch. He is also punctual (even on major holidays such as Christmas) and oftentimes he has a "deal of the day" (flowers at a discounted price). I order arrangements for a dear friend of mine on the north shore. In the photos below you can see the deal of the day for a major birthday she had last year. She was absolutely thrilled! I was pleasantly surprised that it was such a gorgeous arrangement for the deal of the day. The flowers lasted a few weeks too! It helped that she took really good care of them - not surprising since they were really special to her! FBM is my favourite florist and I will be ordering from only him for any flowers that need to be sent in the Vancouver and lower mainland area.

I walked in unannounced and Michael and his wife were able to quickly make a beautiful bouquet right while I waited. They even gave me a Canadian rose and lots of fresh rose pedals for free! I called Michael from Edmonton to make plans for a few floral arrangements for a bridal shower that I was hosting in Vancouver. Michael was professional, accommodating, and very knowledgeable. He also knew what was appropriate for the event. Michael was also very efficient with his time, and was able to complete 5 beautiful arrangements within the afternoon. The price for the arrangements were also very reasonable compared to some places (esp. in downtown Vancouver), and he even decorated the vases that I provided to add that extra touch of classiness. If you need a dependable florist who has a good eye, and will actually execute with an arrangement that will represent you well, Michael is for you because I was here in person to witness all this. Will not use anyone else.

Such a disappointment. I ordered an arrangement, directly from the owner (Michael Park), to be sent to my boyfriend's hotel room, as he was staying in town for several nights on his own. Couldn't have been more clear that I wanted very "contemporary, clean, modern." Specifically wanted mostly white, with a bit of fall-colored accents. We talked about what flowers would be used, the container, the overall volume of the arrangement...and then something was delivered that looked like the florist had cleaned out the bins of whatever he could find and called it a day. Not kidding: there were little pumpkins over a few dyed roses, green hydrangea, a handful of other random stems, a eucalyptus branch, some belles of Ireland... Some of this stuff could have been used to create a beautiful arrangement. Instead, it was a pail of mismatched clippings that just doesn't work. And it's not something you can "fix." You get one chance with flowers--the impact is made, for better or worse. I texted Michael, and he graciously refunded me the $100, which deserves to be recognized. He's obviously a professional, and was likely embarrassed by the work. That humility and willingness to do the right thing is worth a second star, but the damage was done. I decided not to post a photo, as there's no need to further embarrass him (we all have bad days, and maybe he didn't get to the flower market this morning), but INSIST on seeing examples of anything before you purchase.

I had a bouquet delivered to my friend who recently moved to Vancouver and my experience was great! The customer service was amazing, all I told Michael was to make it the most vibrant bouquet he ever made and boy did he deliver!!! I saw the pictures of it and it was the most beautiful bouquet I have ever seen and my friend thought so too. It is 2 weeks later and many of the flowers in the bouquet still look as fresh as the day they were delivered so the longevity is amazing!!!
