The most ignorant staff i have seen. Never do reviews but decided this time its worth it. Managment needs to have better managment of staff instead of always outside smoking. Also be prepared to spend most of your evening in a linr up becUse they only ever have 1 cashier open because you will be asked to leave the express counter if you habe 5 items. Unbelievable. Do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money else where!

The quality of the store on many levels is second to no one. How the customer experiences at their store is also second to no one. And so much better than another unnamed store in Sturgeon falls. If that sounds like a resentment it is. I've encountered too much bigotry in my life time. But Metro in Sturgeon falls has never treated me with anything but respect. Very willing to help you out if you have a problem finding things cordial people at the cash registers I just love this store. Thank you Metro you appreciate my business and I appreciate you.

The main problem with this grocery store is, it's easy to get in but terrible trying to get out. You go in to get a few items and try to get out...the sign says, Express lane? is nothing but a lie...you are in for a big surprise if you get into a line trying to get out because it'll take you a long time...it should be called the lottery ticket line. Now if you can find another cashier open your lucky and at times..that cashier will tell you.."oh you only got a few items..why not use the Express line"...this is madding when you tell her it's faster to stay in the regular line if you don't want wait... I've mentioned this problem and all you get is dirty looks. Everything else about this store is not bad...just the fact the management in this store can't see the bottle neck the Express lane causes customers...it should be called the depressed line. I've started doing the majority of my shopping to Nofrills.

I used to refuse to shop here, but now I love it. Even though the prices can be high for certain things I love the fresh salads and fruit that are there. I always go in to buy rotisserie chicken and it is always fresh, all there food near the deli area is great in my opinion. The cakes even though they might be a bit more expensive at times are the best! whoever makes them deserves credit because I would die for the cakes. The staff is friendly and great, some of them may be a little less friendly but you never get someone who is rude from what I find.

The cashier at the service/Express counter who was working when I shopped yesterday refused to pass my groceries through She told me that she only sold lottery tickets. No signs at the cash advising people of this. I bought my scratch ticket and proceded to go and wait in line at another cash with my 7 items. On my way out of the store, I noticed a small lineup at her cash and witnessed her processing grocery orders with as many or more items than I had. I did hear her tell one customer that they needed to buy a lottery ticket in order to checkout groceries. I guess she has the authority to pick and chose who she serves. I shop here all the time but maybe not so much any more Would love to hear some feedback on this, have other people experienced this same treatment by this cashier or others? Her name is Danielle. She is short and plump with short black hair. Some sort of discrimination at it's best.☹????
