My first experience here a few months ago was quite good! But with my visit today, I see what people are talking about now with all the negative reviews:
I called just after 9am and requested a bouquet; something romantic and cute, befitting of an anniversary. She suggested white and pink flowers/roses, and I mentioned that I'd like to have some red roses in the mix, and she said sure. The woman on the phone was pleasant and accommodating.
Then at 12:15pm when I came to pick up the flowers, I was greeted by a very friendly guy. He asked me if I had already paid for them in advance, and I told him I haven't; he didn't know how much to charge for them and I told him I was asked for a budget and I told them $65 on the phone. I noticed right away that the bouquet was missing red roses, and I pointed this out; I told him that's not what I expected, but I'd still take it if they could just charge me $65 all-in, not $65 + tax, and he didn't know how to handle the situation. A woman in the back room comes out and with a rude tone tells me that they don't have any red roses until tomorrow; that this is what they're giving me, and that if I'm not ok with it I can come back tomorrow; that she didn't check their cooler to see if they had red roses and only realized after our phone call that they did not. She was trying to make me feel like I was the one who made a mistake here, when I'm the one putting down $65+ for flowers. It's not my job to make sure they can fulfill an order, it's theirs.
I told her that she could have called me back to tell me, and she said something along the lines of "well now you know for next time". I handled it as politely as I could, but I'm not going back.
