While Thalie was initially very helpful and attentive, we were very disappointed with her services and the cost. My husband and I needed a planner to help with the day of the wedding to ensure things went smoothly. Thalie met with us and we explained this. However she attempted to charge us close to $3000 for hours of service she dedicated to planning our wedding. This caught us completely off guard because prior to hiring Thalie we had already secured: - the venue -the ceremony site - the caterer -rental chairs and tent -bartenders -dj We also had our own decor While Thalie spent the majority of time trying to arrange a seating plan for our guests, the venue had a number of seating plans to choose from, which is what my husband and I eventually did. Hiring Thalie was the most expensive and upsetting part of our wedding and the cost was not worth the service she provided. When we spoke to Thalie about the original $3000 estimate she was not very accommodating and hoping for the best on our wedding day we paid the $1700 we were able to get her down to for the 10hrs per day she said she was putting in to planning our wedding. However... we had secured everything for our wedding and needing her only for the day we remain unclear as to what those hours were actually used for. I ended up requesting that she not attend the ceremony, not that we did not want help to organize the ceremony but I was angry and upset with her service. Our wedding party, my husband and I decorated the entire venue the day before the wedding. We also had to help Thalie and her assistant at the end of the wedding night to clean up. Something we did not anticipate having to do on our wedding night. If you need to rent items for your wedding I would recommend Thalie as she has a wide selection. However if you simply need help on the day of the wedding, we are thankful we had our amazing family and friends to ensure things went smoothly. It is six months later and when we reflect on our beautiful wedding day a piece of us is still upset with the price and the services or lack thereof provided by Thalie.
