I am so disgusted with this place. I ordered flowers for mothers day and when they were not delivered in the morning I called a number of times, also sent a bunch of emails and they never answered the phone. I waited until Monday (today) morning and called them. I was informed by the lady on the phone that I should have been contacted to be told the flowers wouldn't be delivered. I asked when it could be delivered at the earliest and she said that later today. The drivers come in at 130pm. Then she said that she doesn't have enough inventory to include the main flowers in the arrangement. ???? She offered a different type of flower, a refund or I can wait until whatever day they are available. I should've taken the refund because now my mother has not received my flower delivery for mothers day. Now I can't get ahold of anyone. They are closed for the day and I still don't have the flowers. I also have another order for mothers day for a friend that I sent. I gave them too much of my money to have these things happen. I am so disappointed with the entire process and the inconvenience they have created. ????????????

I was not in Canada this Mother’s Day, and decided to order flowers to be delivered to my mom since I couldn't do so in person. I saw a couple bad reviews of this place, but disregarded them as one-offs, boy was I wrong. Unlike others I see in the reviews, my order was in fact delivered, but on Saturday, not on Sunday as I had requested online. Not a big deal, but literally the following day my mom messaged me informing me that the flowers I had sent her had completely wilted overnight despite her caring for them in her usual flower loving fashion. I'm very disappointed that a business that has been around so long has degraded so much. I will never again trust this business for providing my mom this service again.

I live in the maritimes but my mother is in Ontario and I was stoked when I found this place still had arrangements available to be delivered on Mother's Day and the reviews were pretty good. Placed an order online but Sunday came and my mum said she never got anything. I've spent today trying to get a hold of Lottie's but no answer to emails or phone calls. I've seen multiple reviews from the past few days that many people did not receive their orders this Mother's Day and can't get a hold of anyone so unfortunately I'm now on hold with my bank so I can get my money back. Definitely do not recommend ordering from this florist.

Had a great time placing 2 orders for the Mother's Day Weekend. The person taking the orders was really personable and made the process quick and easy. The flowers weren't delivered so I called back. I couldn't connect by phone, so I replied to their confirmation email asking for an update. They quickly responded. Top line - they apologized, had an issue with their stock and couldn't complete the order, were sorry for the late notice, and refunded my purchase... I have to remove a couple stars for their inventory management system, but on the customer side I had a good experience. No Harm No Foul

A GREAT BUSINESS WITH QUALITY PRODUCTS AND INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I placed an order yesterday, early afternoon, for a same day delivery. The ordering process online went smoothly; The website is clearly laid out and user friendly. There was a wide variety of floral and gift options. Shortly after I had placed the order online, I called Lottie Jones Florist directly to confirm my order..... Unfortunately, my order didn't go through completely because of internet issues that were going on in the Quinte West area. Now, if this were anything other than a 5-star business, my whole experience would likely have been very different. Fortunately, I spoke with a lovely lady named Peggy, who was friendly and incredibly eager to help fix the issue. With 20 minutes left in the business day, Peggy put together a beautiful floral arrangement and made sure it was delivered. She went out of her way to be accommodating, adding extra flowers and even a vase at no cost. She even called her delivery service and, again with no time left in the work day, ensured that our order was delivered. Sometimes errors & issues happen that are no fault of the business. What truly makes a difference is when a business owner is willing to pivot and go above & beyond to ensure quality customer service and products: That was my experience with Peggy at Lottie Jones Florist. I couldn't be happier with the beautiful floral arrangement and excellent customer service I received. We'll definitely be returning to Lottie Jones Florist for any and all future orders!

I've been getting a Christmas flower arrangement from Lottie Jones for my mom for a few years now. This year, I was concerned to see that the website did not have any Christmas centerpieces displayed, but after a quick call and an email with a picture from our previous arrangements, the staff at Lottie Jones were able to put together a wonderful centerpiece, even better than in past years. Needless to say we were incredibly happy with the result and we will continue our business with them. Looking forward to what they make for us in 2022!

Similar to what I am seeing now. I am from the area, currently living out of town. Thought it would be nice to send mom flowers for mother's Day. I knew of Lottie Jones Florists for many years, never heard anything negative; so I ordered online from the website, for Sunday delivery... It's now Tuesday, no flowers. They won't answer the phone, and I'm not holding my breath on the email either. Currently on hold with my credit card company, to dispute the charges.

My mother day flowers showed at 830pm on Monday when I ordered for delivery Sunday. This is unacceptable and the picture online is not what I received. Do these new owners even know what flowers are????? I paid extra for a supersize and I got a regular size that I could've gone to metor and got good looking flowers. Lottie Jones has in the past always delivered beautiful arrangements and had extremely helpful staff. With being out of town, they have delivered beautiful arrangements to my mom for years. However, the new owners obviously do not want to have the same reputation. Yesterday morning they called to confirm my payment information and confirmed they would deliver my Mom's arrangement. No arrangement arrived! Very disappointed! Christmas had an issue even ordering for my mom. I was told they would not be accepting anymore orders at that time. I will be looking for another florist shop in the area to fulfill my future orders. I have emailed and tried to call regarding the no show of the arrangement to no avail. Thank you for ruining Mother's Day for my mom and sounds like others as well. I will not recommend this shop under the new (current) ownership. Please quit riding on the prior owners reputation in the community as you are not providing the same service! Very disappointed and extremely dissatisfied!!

I was always happy with the service, even chose them for my wedding day. Now for my best friends funeral, they arranged a nuce bouquet but the central leaf was all dried up on the top. When i questioned it, they said " This is how its supposed to be." Thanks a lot! You really made things easier on this difficult day. Plus my accent doesnt mean Im dumb, in case you were wondering. I placed an order for Mother's Day flowers early in the week, for delivery to be done on Saturday, since I figured it would be extremely busy on the actual day. Nothing arrived, so I sent an email. Sunday I get a message from the friend I had sent the flowers to, they let me know the florist had called and said the delivery couldn't be made because they were too busy and they would be delivered on THURSDAY!!!???? I have since sent 2 more emails and made phone calls and have had no response. I am so disappointed. "0" Stars for this florist.

If I could give 0 stars I would because that is what they’ve given me for the low price of $125!!!!!!! My mother’s delivery did not occur today as promised. How can a florist, on what is presumably one of their busiest days of the year get this so wrong???? I’m a military member and as such, am not located near my mother. This is not only terrible service but exceedingly disappointing and a complete breach of trust. Disgusting. Avoid.

My sister had her baby in March. I wanted to do something special for her on Mother's Day and ordered flowers online through Lottie Jones. I chose Saturday delivery as Sunday was Mother's Day. I wanted my sister to know how proud of her I am as she is a single mom with new baby. I wrote an extra special card to go with delivery. Saturday nothing was delivered. I kept calling the flower shop and was getting just busy signal. My sister never received her beautiful surprise and this ruined Mother's Day for her. I never received an email or a call from the shop. Monday morning I called several times and wanted the order cancelled as my credit card had been charged (not to mention they had also charged me a $20 delivery fee in town and the website said it would only be $10 local) the phone just rang and rang. Finally after calling all morning they answered. The woman apologized to me and told me the fire dept. Had been at the flower shop on Saturday for 3 hours which set them way behind. She apologized and explained that all customer's were supposed to have been contacted but clearly some were not as her phone was ringing off the hook. I asked for the order to be cancelled and have my money refunded which she agreed to do and told me it will take a few business days to show back on my card. This is all well and good BUT it doesn't change the fact so many customers were left with disappointment and so many Mother's Days ruined. Will never deal again with Lottie Jones. I realize a false fire alarm is out of their control but they should have stayed late to MAKE SURE all customers were contacted before leaving that day!!!!

I like the concept. I didn't realize that I had to be home to receive my package. FedEx did not leave it at my home on a Saturday. I requested to pick them up on Monday at the FedEx store but instead they tried to deliver them to my home again. I couldn't pick them up until Tuesday. A couple of stems were broken. I will give them one more try since I purchased the subscription. I'll just pick local flowers from now on.

My first time shopping here and the prices were very fair. There's no gimmicks like with your 1800 pro you know what. The price you saw is what you'll pay. The flowers are yet to be delivered and I wished they included a standard vase of some sort without additional cost. Overall my first experience is good.

From a Business perspective I understand that things can go wrong, I rely on customer service to fix that issue under immense pressure and that is what Peggy did for my Mother. It's difficult to judge a florist on their ability to make an arrangement when they just decide to take your money but not actually produce any flowers. I've been ordering flowers for years from Lottie Jones but after the previous owner sold it seems that the the new ownership has the wrong people in place. I ordered flowers for mothers day, they called to confirm payment but the flowers never arrived. Reading their recent reviews it seems I'm one of several who experienced this. I will be calling today for a full refund or calling my credit card company to cancel payment for "services not rendered". I will never use this company again and shame on you for tarnishing the reputation of a company that someone had put their heart and soul into.

I have to give this florist 1 star only and here is why. unknown to us that new owners had taken over ,we had always went to lotti jones for their customer service and excellent flowers. No more after ordering flowers for Mothers Day for delivery on May 8.2021 ,which my mother in law never received. i called them and they said they had a minor setback, but will be delivered Sunday. Again no delivery, they then said for sure Monday and again no delivery. We emailed with no response and called many times with no answer. my mother in law was so distraught, because she thought we forgot about her on this most special day. We live in Burlington, and due to covid we were unable to see her. Please donot order flowers from this Florist as they cannot be trusted with giving you the service that Lotti jones used to have. Find a more reputable florist for your special needs. Thankyou

I purchased the Designer's Choice Seasonal Favorites and they arrived on time and in fresh condition. For the first month, I added the vase which I didn't realize was tin. It was a bit disappointing and way too large for the small bouquet so we used our own vase. The 13 stems were a nice variety but not very full. I will keep the monthly subscription for another two or three months, but am questioning the value with this first delivery.

Wish there was an option for zero stars. I ordered flowers for my Mom for Mother's Day four days ahead. My credit card was charged for the flowers and delivery and I received a confirmation email of the order. No flowers were delivered!!! After about 30 attempts to call them the day after I finally got through and was told there had been an 'incident' and that I should've been informed that the delivery wouldn't happen and that the soonest they could deliver was three days later! Um a tad late for Mother's Day don't you think! I cancelled the order but I don't have high hopes of getting a refund at this point. I recommend avoiding this florist.

Both my brother and I placed separate orders for arrangements for our mom the week before Mother’s Day. Neither of our orders were delivered. I have confirmation that I placed the order. No phone call, nobody answers their phone, no apology. I have been ordering from Lottie Jones Trenton for several years and I will never, ever order from them again. As soon as new owners took over the business has gone to hell. What a shame and shame on them for leaving their loyal customers in the lurk with no explanation! Whoever is “managing” the business should be fired immediately! I have read that so many other customers have had the same experience and I wont be surprised when this business is closed for good. What a shame. They used to be the best place to buy floral arrangements, not anymore!!!

Unbelievably terrible. Ordered flowers for Mother’s Day to send to my mom who I haven’t seen in over a year and I miss desperately. My mom got a call saying they wouldn’t be able to deliver on the day, but that they would be delivered the following day (Monday). Kind of ruined the surprise but whatever. That’s not the issue. No flowers ever showed up. Not only that, multiple emails, calls, and even an Instagram message went unanswered. I understand now that there was a supply issue. And had they called or reached out in any way and let me know that this was the case, I could have made other arrangements. But instead they chose to stick their head in the sand and pretend nothing happened. Disgusting, immature, and not an appropriate reaction from a business. I wish there was a zero star option for this rating, because the whole situation was appalling, especially after spending well over $100 on the flowers. I’m disappointed. My mom is disappointed. I never take time to write these kind of reviews, but this experience left me genuinely angry. Never use this flower shop. They should be ashamed.

I made an online order 3 days ago for Mother's Day as I'm out of town and I wanted to do something special for my mom since I can't be with her on Mother's Day. I even paid extra for the morning delivery. It's now after 9pm and the flowers still haven't been delivered even after confirmation from them earlier today that they would be delivered by 8pm. This is absolutely absurd for a flower delivery place to charge my cc and not deliver on the requested day. This will be the last time I order from this place. I'm canceling my order and taking my business elsewhere. I would not recommend this place.

I do not normally leave a negative review of an item or a business, but after pondering this for a few days I just can't bring myself not too. DO NOT order your flowers from Lottie Jones. My parents have gone here for years and a lot of people recommend them, but how I wish I did not listen. I placed an order for my wedding a month and a bit in advance. I requested black eyed Susan's as an accent colour and then purple and white lillies (bouquet). Yellow Calla lillies was the request for the bountonierres. And for corsages I said I did not care as long as there was some purple and yellow in them. I was assured that these needs could be met. I spoke to them multiple times to make sure everything was understood correctly. Three days before my wedding I received a call stating they were unable to get the black eyed Susan's. This was okay. I know it can be hard to track down and we had planned for this in advance and incorporated artificial ones in to the decor. I specifically asked if they had the yellow calla lillies for the bountonierres and was reassured they did. As for my bouquet they said they had some white lillies and could dye or paint some purple. Great! I am a pretty understanding person so sure why not! The next day I heard again about an issue. While on the phone I confirmed everything again and they had some of the colours listed as red. I yet again explained everything I was wanting and they had a month to track these items down and they failed oh so miserably. My step mom picked my wedding flowers up the morning of and left in tears. She actually had thought maybe they gave us the wrong order. When I showed up the beautiful yellow calla Lilly boutineres were pale yellow carnations. There was not a single Lilly on my bouquet. There were a couple purple and yellow flowers but that is about it. As for the corsages. Most of the colouring was okay BUT they were useless and fell apart within 30 minutes of wearing them. If I wanted to have to use a hot glue gun on my wedding day I would have done artificial flowers and made them myself! I am so beyond disappointed. I tried not to let it affect my day but when I look at the pictures these terrible flowers are all I see. Lillies are my favourite flower and rather easy to track down and yet not one made it in to my wedding celebration. I think what is even worse about it all is that not one person offered compensation, an apology, any real solution or resolution. Apparently unless you take the time yell at someone you are treated like a joke that doesn't matter. Well my flowers mattered. Lotties will never receive my business again and any friend or family member or coworker, I mean literally anyone I know who even brings them up will be told about how they ruined the flowers for my day.

I had the worst experience with this florist. I ordered flowers a few days before Mother’s Day and paid extra for morning shipping. The day came & went, no delivery. I called the shop right before closing & was given several excuses as to why the flowers weren’t able to be delivered. They said they could deliver Wednesday (3 days after Mother’s Day). I asked for a partial refund considering I paid extra for shipping. They told me someone from head office would be in contact with me. Now Wednesday came & went. Still no delivery. I tried contacting the shop several times for several days. No responses. Then today I see a credit to my visa. I am also an essential worker and understand the stress of working during this time. But as a customer this is inexcusable. What a horrible experience for myself as well as my Mother-in-law who went without any gifts on Mother’s Day. I will never use this shop again or recommend to anyone.

We placed an order for Mother’s Day flowers, and paid an extra premium delivery charge to ensure Mother’s Day delivery. The order was not filled, they did not contact us to cancel the order. Sure enough they charged our visa.. but sent no flowers. While I understand that MD is the busiest day of the year, an email or call to inform us of that would have been something. I have been calling and can’t get anyone to even pick up the phone. I was hoping they would at least follow up with a late delivery.. or contact with us to cancel. Super disappointed

Ordered flowers for my Mother in Law for Mother's Day, on behalf of my husband to be delivered the day before Mother's Day. As we live in Scotland, we rely on services for delivering gifts for such occasions as we cannot be there ourselves. The money was debited from our Credit Card, the order was made in sufficient time, however our flowers were never delivered. I have never used this florist before, but I certainly won't use it again. Despite sending an email enquiry, I have had no response or explanation. I will be forced to contact my credit card for a refund and they will, no doubt, follow it up with the shop directly. Not the usual excellent customer service we are used to from other local businesses we have used, who sadly were unable to assist us this time.

Similar issues as everyone else. I wish I saw these reviews before placing an order for my SIL's birthday. The flowers didn't get delivered :( Update - I was able to call and found out that the order didn't processed due a tech issue. They delivered it on Monday instead of Saturday. I wish they called me to fix the issue.

I ordered a $100 bouquet for my mom for Mother’s Day and paid an extra $24 for delivery between 9am-12pm. It’s now 9:41pm and the flowers never came. I have contacted BBB and my bank in regards to this shop taking my money but not fulfilling my order (fraud). Today was devastating for many mothers, you just sank your business.

I ordered two items to be delivered to different people in different towns. Both arrived as promised and looked as they did in the pictures on the website (orchid and bouquet of mixed flowers). Both recipients were pleased with the flowers.

The flowers were delivered a day late, they were beautiful, but died after a few days, even after confirming everything via phone (multiple times) and explaining what was supposed to be included in my order - the chocolates and mylar balloon and personal card was not included, flowers were delivered a day late all of which I paid extra for. Will be calling to f/up on Monday and ask for a partial refund. And they never responded after sending an email to two separate accounts, not sure why they have two emails - phone line is dead. I called my bank and filed an investigation. Response - I sent you an e-mail to both e-mail accounts - the one listed on my order and the one listed on your website. Why not just check your e-mail - I sent it over a week ago.

This certainly doesn't smell like roses! I also placed an order on Friday for delivery on Sunday for mom and like many others here posting, no delivery and I can't get a hold of them. My order was placed over the phone and not once was there any concern about not being able to fulfill it discussed. Beginning to think they took all our MD orders and ran with the money. Just what mom needed after not being able to see her for months now. Brutal.
