So amazingly super helpful!! You can tell they really care about what they do!! Ordered flowers from out of town and the young lady who took the call took the time tell me what options they had in fresh and helped me look them up online so i could make a choice like I was standing in the store!! She took a picture and emailed the arrangement to me so I could see what she was sending! Price was fair, delivery was smooth and on time! Highly recommended!!!

BEWARE!: I bought a healthy looking houseplant (pepperonia) from this store which started to wilt and discoloring no matter what did (I am an advanced plant grower btw) It kept deteriorating for months but nothing helped (various watering / temperature / light / feeding regimes tried). In the very last effort to save the plant, suspecting an underlying root rot problem, I decided to get to the root ball. To my surprise there was no roots in the pot. All plant's roots were collected and terribly jammed in a tiny synthetic sack of the size of a finger nail buried under the topsoil. It doesn't decompose and it doesn't allow roots to grow or to reach soil nutricients. The plant simply starved. Someone did it on purpose - the potted houseplant was designed to die within several months after the purchase from this store so you would come to buy a replacement. I don't know who to blame for this sick idea - the store owner or its suppliers, ...but even if it is a supplier then why does he deal with so sick people?

Wow. I've been to a ton of florists in the city but this one is by far the best not only in terms of options but also customer service. I came in the morning to get an arrangement made and they told me they can get it done within the hour. When I came back, it was more beautiful that what I had imagined. Last minute I decided to have the flowers delivered and they were able to quickly accomodate and get the flowers delivered today. ON TOP OF THAT, I forgot to take a picture of the flowers and when I called to ask if they can take a photo and email it to me, they happily obliged. All of that to say, it wasn't just the best customer service I've received at a florist, it was the best customer service I've received. Period. No other establishment can top this place. Highly recommend.

Small selection but very healthy plants. The staff person was polite, friendly and put me at ease but didn't know care instructions for the plants they sell. Handouts or info stakes would help. Why purchase a living thing I can't properly care for?

Worst customer experience. They did not deliver the flowers as ordered then lied about contacting me. No trace of calls to my cellphone, no messages left as they claimed. Took them five days to call and ask me what to do, at first they were hesitant about a refund. Owner was extremely rude, highly confidantional and hung up on my when she didn't get her way.

I had such a great experience with Mother's Day flowers! I ordered an orchid and a jade succulent for Mother's Day using their website, called beforehand to compare different types of orchids they had available and they were super easy to work with, sent pictures of what they had. We were very happy with the end products. The orchid had many bulbs and looked to be in great shape (best orchid I've bought by far) and the jade succulent also looked a little larger than expected. I'd buy from The New Leaf again!

Stopped by a week before valentines day to create a custom bouquet, i showed up 2 minutes before close and both ladies inside didn't mind at all. The one ladie that helped me was very helpful and listened to everything I wanted and made the most beutiful arrangement, and had a smile the entire time. They even made sure to deliver it on time. Honestly maybe I came on an off day? Nice selection and I'm sure the arrangements are beautiful. Fresh cut flowers felt wonderful. But I didn't feel welcome at all I felt like a kid in a rich fancy boutique and that they thought I didn't have money to spend. No one came to help me or ask me what I was looking for. Eventually one girl came as I was looking for a woven basket planter. She was really the only saving grace for me customer service wise. I spent $50 that day and as happy as I am with the planter almost want to return it and give business to another local plant store with great customer service that makes everyone feel wanted, no matter how they look. Did not see any of the glowing reviews written here from the owner.

Nice people and bought a healthy plant from them. It was kind of lopsided due to how it was displayed in the store, but not a big deal just need to rotate and provide light more evenly. The reason I knocked 2 stars off is because I also bought soil from them on a separate occasion and it was infested with fungus gnats. Seemed fine at first but I have transfered the soil into ziplock bags and when I started having the gnat issue, I looked at the bagged soil and it got a bunch of gnats inside the ziplock. After weeks of trying to use natural remedy to rid of the problem. I ended up getting new soil and repotted ALL if my plants. It was an annoying, time consuming and expensive experience. Some of my plants lost leaves from the shock. I actually hesitated in getting a plant from them, afraid to bring back more pests. But after a 2 week quarantine (for the plant), the plant turned out to be healthy.
