I live in Ottawa and have ordered flowers from Sweetpea's for delivery in the Toronto area three times now. The first two were Christmas arrangements and the third was a floral arrangement for a birthday. Each time I was looking for original and creative arrangements from a local florist, and each time Sweetpea's delivered a beautiful arrangement. Each was beautiful, creative and unique and lasted a long time. In fact, when I spoke with one of the recipients earlier this week, she still had parts of her Christmas arrangement! Only thing I will say is that for the $, I should have specified I didn't want any carnations.. It is often a good idea I have learned to call the shops as the photos of what you think you are buying are not always what is sent. If you want specifics, call. That all said, they bouquet was beautiful and my friend was very happy to receive them and she also said, the people who called and delivered were very friendly and lovely. :)

The bouquet was beautiful but didn't last long. The courier drove across town in traffic on a scorching hot day in a car with the windows open/i.e., no air conditioner on (I was at my door when he pulled up). As a result my blooms were wilting before I even got them inside. Five days later they are pretty much done. I ordered online I didn't think to check the florist location, kind of assumed they would be delivered in refrigerated truck or something. Oh well...

They also let you know the time and day it was delivered, AND they also include a photo of the flowers they delivered. We were a little disappointed with the number of blooms as we chose the largest size with the maximum number of extra blooms possible, and the bouquet that arrived didn't look as lush as the online photo. Perhaps the individual blooms were more expensive than in the photo, or flower prices had increased? Otherwise, the flowers seem quite fresh and were arranged in a relaxed pleasant style.

I was able to specify a couple of flowers I did NOT want included , which was no problem. My Mom said they came with extended instructions for care and she was so pleased with the bouquet . The staff was very helpful to me as well as we had a problem with delivery. Turns out they had to re-deliver the following day and I was pleasantly surprised that there was no additional charge . Plus, Sweetpea definitely tailored the arrangement to requests I made for an autumn style bouquet. After such a good experience I just sent my parents an arrangement for their anniversary (pictured below) and again, it is beautiful, very reasonably priced for the amount and type of flowers, and they again put in my requests such as type of flowers and style. My parents were so happy with the arrangement and to now know about Sweetpea's to use them for future flower arrangements! The beautiful little sitting area in front of their Roncy shop. A multi colored bench with plants and flowers all around is an amazing place to sit and relax for a couple mins. I was quite happy with my experience. I ordered flowers online for a friend. They had a clear selection of options, with transparent pricing, and delivered the flowers when they said would. The communication throughout the process was efficient as well. One area for improvement: I completed the purchase on via mobile which was good but still has some room for improvement from a UI/UX perspective. In terms of the flowers themselves, the quality and care put into the bouquet was obvious. While you may be able to find cheaper options, the combination of quality, sustainable sourcing (they have lots of information on their process on their website), and attention to detail is well worth the investment. On top of that, you support a local business.

It also didn’t include the white roses that my cousin specifically asked for and our aunt’s favourite flower. The delivery charge was $87 for a location that was no more than a 20 minute drive. During COVID, I have worked with several florists in the GTA area (I am based in NYC), but none have matched the level of detail and professionalism that Sweetpea's provided. I recently ordered a beautiful arrangement (the New York Contemporary-Pastel) for delivery. The bouquet was gorgeous. While the website asks that you acknowledge the arrangement is customized and may not exactly match the image, the bouquet was even MORE stunning than the website (special thanks to the efforts of Emily!). Sweetpea's sent several check-in emails to make sure the order was correct and, once the flowers were delivered, I was promptly notified and shown pictures of what the final product looked like (which I never got from other providers I've used). I will definitely be using them again and could not recommend them more highly for your floral needs!

I set up a monthly flower delivery subscription with Sweetpea’s for my wife’s birthday, and we are two deliveries in. It has been a huge success and I can’t recommend it more. Beautiful flowers, delivered promptly on or even before the due date. Very unique arrangements with flowers we haven’t even seen before, their selection and artistry is truly impressive. There are several flower subscription services that you can find through online research offered in Toronto. I am very glad I happened to check some reviews for some of the other companies right before I was about to commit to a different subscription, because despite having very convincing websites, many of them apparently never deliver or miss deliveries, have terrible stock and literally send you half dead flowers. Almost complete scams, and their customer service is terrible, so no chance of getting your money back. Sweetpea’s is the real deal, we haven’t had to rely on their customer service because their deliveries have been so pleasing, but I imagine it is superior as well. Do not hesitate to use them for a recurring subscription (or any other flower purchase).

I’ve just received a stunning arrangement for my wedding anniversary ????, and once again, I’m thrilled with it. Their beautiful flower arrangements are the most unique and creative I’ve ever seen. Their staff is friendly, efficient and very conscientious in terms of making sure they understand your order, and making sure it’s delivered on time. I ordered a small or medium flower subscription for my friends birthday, and sometimes with flowers, you don't know how they will turn out in real life, but these were incredible! So beautiful, wonderful colour palette and bouquet arrangement. I left it up to the designer to create the bouquet and chose seasonal flowers. Since you have to order minimum 6 orders, I found it a wonderful feature that you can split the orders between two addresses. So I will do 3 bouquets for my friend, and 3 for my sister. Both Christmas presents covered!

What an incredible studio! With each order they continue to outdo themselves and blow my mind more than the last! Their customer service is absolutely top notch as well. I had one small issue (not of their doing, it was with a delivery company) and when I called just to give them a heads-up they refunded part of my charges. Fave place to get my floral arrangements. Update: This is an overdue review for Sweetpea's but I have a moment so here goes. I had 2 wedding one civil and one for our family a year later so we could save up for a banging party. Sweatpea did both plus my bridal shower and I was extremely happy with the quality and service provided. They took in everything that I wanted, provide options where needed and worked with in the budget given. I will say communication can be improved with response time and follow up. Most brides have a tonne on their plate, as I'm sure florists do too, but the difference is hopefully you're only a bride once where as florists do orders on the regular. It would be helpful to not have to follow up multiple time for a response on if an order can be place or when a meeting can be made. Also a little more guidance on the process of things would be nice because let's face it, some of us are just clueless, especially if you are doing it alone sans wedding planner or married friends' memorys of their weddings years past. In the end I'm still extremely happy with the end result even if the process was a little stressful. Jenn did a great job on both events, she was pleasant to talk to and accommodated everything I asked for within the restrictions of the season's available flowers. I will continue to send my husband here to buy me flowers! I've added some picture of my bouquets! I was especially in love with the flowers from my shower, I brought in two containers and a picture of what I wanted and what I got back was just perfection.

I was extremely happy with my experience with Sweetpeas. I ordered over the phone from out of town and the staff was very friendly and helpful providing ideas and suggestions. They even emailed photos to help me in my decision making. This is the second time I have used Sweetpea's. Each time the arrangement has been breathtaking and unique. The recipients were delighted and one of them is known to be difficult to impress. This last order was sent to congratulate an older newlywed couple after their COVID pandemic wedding, in their backyard with only the minister and witnesses present instead of the church wedding with family and friends that had been planned. It truly brought tears of joy to both of them and I thank you very much for that. I will definitely order more custom masterpieces from you in the future.

This was my first time ordering from SweetPea’s. Being from another province, and unable to visit with family during these pandemic times sending flowers is a way to connect. SweetPea’s website is well organized, and very clear. I appreciated the possibility to add my individualized request. I loved the choice of a “garden style” bouquet. Being a gardener, I wished I could just pick a bouquet from my garden and send them to my family! With their own creative style Sweetpea’s helped me do this, and the flower choices were beautiful! The same delivery was perfect. When there was no answer upon delivery, I received a personal phone call to let me know the bouquet was left in a safe place. This tells me Sweetpea’s cares! The bouquet was met with absolute delight when my daughter returned home. Thank you to the floral designers, and delivery driver and everyone at Sweetpea’s. I actually sent TWO bouquets that day, so all of this goes times two. Two very delighted people received beautiful bouquets in time for the Thanksgiving weekend. I am looking forward to sending the next bouquets!

HORRIBLE BOUQUET, HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! The bouquet I received for an event I was hosting looked NOTHING like what I ordered online. And I don't mean that it was arranged differently, or the colors were slightly off, I mean NONE OF THE FLOWERS WERE THE SAME, NOTHING ABOUT THE BOUQUET LOOKED LIKE THE PHOTO. I received horrible customer service from the owner Sara who told me that if I wanted my bouquet to look like the photo I should have specified that in the instructions. What is the point of having a photo then??? The best they offered to do to make up for this was have me drive AN HOUR TO THEIR STORE to return the bouquet and this time they would try to make one that actually looked like the photo with whatever leftover flowers they had around. What a waste of $180. On top of all that at the flowers are absolutely withered and dry after only a few days. Don't waste your money here people. Would give 0 stars if I could, and I made sure everyone at the event knew about the service I'd received so they wouldn't bother ordering from here in the future.

Originally ordered a bouquet that arrived damaged due to deliver (I'm in the east end of the city so a bit of a trek). Still, was obviously a very beautiful arrangement. Upon receiving a delivery confirmation email I replied with feedback stating that the bouquet did not hold up in transport very well (snapped/wilted flowers). Literally within hours of providing feedback a significantly larger and just stunning replacement bouquet was delivered to my house! Wow, just so impressed at the customer care and generosity here. Would absolutely recommend this florist as it's obvious they take care of their clients. And they make beautiful arrangements! Thanks again Sweetpeas!

Sweetpea's has a knack for doing those little extras. The arrangement was tasteful and unique - not of the cookie cutter (lack of) variety that you get with most major flower delivery outlets. Options for vases and decorative changes were plentiful. The flowers were delivered on time and without any fuss. My mother loved it and they have been in full bloom for more than a week. I'll definitely trust Sweetpea's with future flower deliveries and would recommend them to anyone who needs a quality bouquet sent in Toronto.

Bought a bouquet to celebrate my friend's engagement. Their ordering process online is quite easy and gives you a spot to comment if you have a preferred colour scheme. The order confirmation was very quick. I was a little bit confused by how to get the delivery confirmation, since there is usually a photo that is sent out once the order has been delivered. I think you need to leave a phone number to receive the confirmation, because it doesn't send directly to your email. But the staff are really nice and will sometimes reply even if the shop is already closed, so that was wonderful. Definitely would order from them again!

Love the concept of subscription. Also liked that the bouquet is in foam rather than yet another vase. Find the website a bit dense and confusing and don't like that they send the very same info to the giftee as they send to the gift-giver: I don't need anything but a note saying it's going to happen. Would also like some powder to keep bouquet fresh longer unless it doesn't work. Happy to vote 5 for an enterprising staff and clever idea.
