This year they sold me bok choi that had already bolted (I didn't know until a neighbor told me), carrots that were grown in a bunch and thyme that was in herbs but when I got home noticed it was an ornamental only variety . Buy the time I separated the carrots I only got to keep half of them. And I saw the manager yelling at a young man working there. He looked very upset and I felt bad for the workers because three of them looked miserable. I am afraid to go back.

Very disappointed! Ordered Mother’s Day flowers and the bouquet had a lot of filler and greens and not a lot of flowers. I called the store today to discuss they and was told “sorry it was a very busy weekend and we may have added more filler and not enough flowers” No offer to make things better. Don’t order on a busy weekend!

They have a large selection of beautiful plants, trees and shrubs but their customer service is terrible! My daughter tried to buy a tree for me there & they were no help at all. They took her phone # & she was told she probably wouldn't get a call back, and she didn't. I asked for help while shopping one day & the girl said that I had to find someone out there, she was "only the cashier". I said, out there, meaning where the plants were? "Cashier :" Yeah, but you will probably have to wait a long time, they are busy unloading trees". I left & went to another nursery where they were a big help. I will never buy from Ryerse again.

I ordered the Tender Moments flowers online to have them delivered to my husband at work. They were lovely and arrived without any problems. He was thrilled. My only issue would be that I ordered the deluxe because the picture showed 2 lilies and 4 roses (perfect for the 2 of us celebrating our 4th anniversary)- standard showed 1 & 3- however when they arrived there were 2 lilies, only 3 roses and a lot more greenery. My suggestion if ordering flowers & you have specifics about the flower bouquet you really like to put it in the special instructions or call directly. I personally don't feel like the extra $20 was worth it as I ordered that particular bouquet for the reason above. I would have preferred the fourth rose and less filler.

My Great Aunt was celebrating her 105th Birthday, and we wanted to find something very special for her. I had googled flower arrangements, when I stumbled upon "fresh flower cakes" on one of the sights. Long story short, I found 2 locations that had a fresh flower cake that I liked. I chose Ryerse's Flowers in Simcoe (a bit of hike to pick it up, but was also $45 cheaper before taxes than the other location). I called them to order, as I wanted to personally pick it up and do a porch drop delivery to the Birthday Girl. I ordered it a week in advance to give ample time to ensure that it was perfect. The CSR that I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and assured me that the cake would be beautiful, and ready for pick up. Fast forward to the following Monday. I got there, the CSR brought out the cake. It was absolutely gorgeous....way prettier than the picture that I had seen when I ordered it! The cake was a success! The Birthday Girl had never seen anything like this before and truly felt quite special to be receiving it. This will definitely be my first "go to" place when I am looking for stunning , unique, floral gifts in the future.

We called ahead to Ryerse's Garden Gallery about buying a yard of topsoil and tree fertilizers. We arrived and got no help, except to be told we would have to wait. Customer service was non-existent, even though we were clearly waiting for 20 minutes for help. I think of this place as expensive, but even so I was unpleasantly surprised. The place was nearly deserted, far from busy, and staff seemed totally disorganized. Won't be going back any time soon.

Your younger staff needs a lesson in manners. The lady that helped me pick out my flowers to match the pots i bought was fantastic. But the girl at the cash register that checked me out was very rude and ignorant towards me. I was not impressed at all. And if that's the treatment I'm gonna receive there, I will take my business elsewhere for the rest of my yard decorations and flowers.
