You may have noticed that it reaches an feddbacks average is very high, and it's based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can say that the assessment is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to give their score when they are happy, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to give tatings when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Florist belongs to the category of Grocery store.
Love the store! Everything is always so fresh, and the employees are so friendly and helpful. 10/10 will tell everyone to come for groceries here.
Very clean and organized.
Love the section of items and staff always polite. Sometimes hard to get someone at meat counter but love the store
Beautiful layout. The shelves are stocked. Could use more ethnic food. I don't think they even have ethnic food section. It's to bad. Would have liked to be a regular here.
A good place to shop, a little more expensive than Wally world but fresher produce and not the long lineups at the checkout
Staff not helpful
Nice store. Clean with decent staff. Prices are a bit on the higher side but produce is often good.
Love the store. Everything is fresh and last a long time in the fridge or sitting on my counter. Great selection and prices on product. Surprise sale items also. Deli and bakery is first class. Western family brand is Canadian made products and are a great value.
Pet food shelf empty.
1 of best places for deserts, quick in and out everytime, parking is always great. And friendly staff.
Great store very close and convenient. This like living in a small town except for we are in the city. Friendly staff and very helpful. They have everything you need and open early.
Excellent quality of all food. Thanks for carrying pistachio icecream!!! Pricing is very reasonable, except some cakes and individual baking is a bit costly.
It's Ok
Gotta say I'm quite impressed, and when I go in again I'm impressed all over again, And it all starts with walking up to the clean glass doors, I can see my sexy man build I've perfected over 33 years, always a pleasure! Then I see people actually workin! Hot food for lunch ready to go, never over cooked or hard or soggy from sitting so long, they got it on lock down over there, Heck I'll give you 6 stars! And that's alot considering if you've read any other reviews iv left lol Keep it up guys! Awesome
Unfriendly staff. Very aggressive loud cashiers.
I was shocked at how good this Save on Foods was. Usually you expect it to be a bit lower end on the quality spectrum due to the additional savings but this place has it all. The prepared food section is outstanding if you need to pick up an already cooked selection, especially their Israeli Couscous salad!
The store is tiny considering it's the first to open in the city. Two carts cannot fit down one aisle in the produce and pharmacy departments. The prices are not lower on most products than other grocery stores in the city. I love shopping at Save-On-Foods in Alberta and British Columbia but this store does not compare to the larger stores in those provinces.
Excellent place. Freshly opened. You may compare the prices before going there but the deli or pastry offered are quite different and worth a try.
Love this store. Great selection. Very friendly people. Get the member card. It's free and saves you some money.
The staff treat me like I am family .....one staff even baked me some stuff and bought my newborn a blanket. I love save on foods
Love this store and the employees are amazing they have the best customer service here. Always find great deals , and the app is awesome for getting points.
What other grocery store gives out free flowers free cakes etc. I love this place every single person that works here is so kind, friendly and personable! In fact so many say how much they love working there so they’re obviously doing something right - therefore kudos to Savon foods in Kensington & the management team! know a few others that can learn a thing or two from you! Thank you ????
Great selection and not busy .
I miss Save On Foods from when I used to live in Edmonton. I went to check it out to see if it had everything I loved about it from the Alberta locations and it really did. The produce section is always amazing with lots of variety, good looking, fresh products. The usual selection of local product was there as well. The cashier talked to us like we were best friends since childhood, in a very friendly, polite manner. That is everything I enjoy about Save On Foods. It really feels like a local farmer's market with familiar faces, even when you step in there for the first time. Their selection is very healthy (they have a organic section) and the prices are in line with the market with the added bonus that you collect points for items you can redeem or for bigger rewards. So happy about this location. Great job!
Great service.
Nice new store. Produce was great and the prepared foods were excellent for lunch or on the way home. The only negative thing is the store is much smaller than others I am used to in the grocery area. Due to the size they don't have much selection but they have all the necessities.
Clean place lots of stock friendly staff and helpful and very polite
Me and my mom enjoy shopping here, feels like a safe location as you dont see riff raff type of people shopping at all. They have a bakery, they also make fresh food things like pizza, chicken, wings,(5 different flavors), soup, fries, potatoe wedgies, variety of different veggies. (everyday) Also have slices of cake! Things like cheesecake , chocalate cake, cookies, donuts, bagels, etc. You can also order birthday cakes here, or cakes for any occasion, decently priced. They also have a IN-store starbucks which i get from sometimes :) Staff is good! Havnt had an issue with customer service, only thing i could mention is they need to be showed how to pack bags and how to scan items faster. It shouldnt take 15 minutes. And i dont think my meat should be in the same bag as my bread or fruit ????
We lile to go there prices and The pastry.
This store has such an amazing selection of food and products. They have a memberdhip card too if you're interested and a starbucks in here as well. Whole isle of bulk food and gluten free and an international section as well.
The pharmacist Glen, is very friendly helpful & puts one at ease. We received our 2nd shot, on Thursday. Thanks again Glen
I like it, it’s a good nice store, but it hasn’t swayed me over to shop there exclusively or to use it as my main grocery store. It’s much like Sobey’s or Safeway & the prices are close as well. I’ll go there if it’s convenient, but so far none of the locations are..
I went there today and the store was about 80% empty of food in every department. No cashiers to be seen so you were forced to use the self check out. Disappointing.
Nice facilities and good staff.
My go to grocery store. If you hate Superstore and Walmart as much as I do...try Save on Foods. It's everything those other two aren't. Clean, friendly, no coin carts and they bag your groceries.
GREAT STAFF ! from security guy at door - to Deli service - to take out foods - shelf stockers - to cashiers on checkout ALL were - polite - courteous - knowledgable (good selection and prices too) 5 stars each X 5 staff = 25 STARS GREAT JOB SAVON FOODS
The cashier Karen, blonde woman is a very rude angry person, if you don't like your job quit! Over all very crowded store not clean. Definitely not covid friendly
Nice clean store, nice washrooms, the pharmacy is really fast and has the medication I need when other places say they cant get it for a while. Prices might be a little higher then others but since it's on my side of the city, I can stop there and be gone home quickly since the store is never that busy
Good selection, and easy to walk in/walk out quick.
Great store with variety of Fresh food, bakery and lots of grocery items. They do price match only for 2 items though. Located at convenient place with huge parking lot.
Was just in save on foods in Kensington. That is my new favorite store This experience was annoying I had a reusable bag. Got attitude from cashier. Those aren't allowed on counter. I said fine didn't know. Seen as how last time I was in it was fine. I'm happy to follow the rules but when you guys keep changing them its hard for your customers to follow that.
I think they're AWESOME!! when the power went out on APRIL 7TH 2018. I needed a tray of veggies for a team potluck I was going to. Although the store was shut down, the Save-On Foods TEAM was outside informing customers. I told them what I needed and see if they could help. They more than happy gave me the tray of veggies. It's all about thinking outside the box. Thank you so much for making my day!!
I like that Save-On-Foods still cleans the carts, has arrows telling you which way to go down an isle. Also very happy to see most people wearing masks as I am a health care worker. I also love the selection at the meat counter and the produce is always fresh.
They cant bake bread? Back to Coop ~ Anywho love the store very clean! I know where everything is. The odd Karen if I walk backwards forgetting something? Anywho its close to home!! Nice stop and shop!
My favourite grocery store in Saskatoon. Staff is super friendly and helpful. This place has the best selection for people with food allergies (gluten especially) and a wide selection for Plant Based options!! Thank you Save On Foods!! Please keep bringing those options in store. ????????
Nice product selection and housebrands. Grocer competition is a great thing for the consumer and they try to offer competitive pricing. I hope to see more locations soon.
I like going to Save on Foods because their employees are very friendly. Washrooms are clean. They're very active, all the time looking for help customers and their prices are Ok, when they first started prices were lower than now. But they have the 'price match ' option with any competitors which is very helpful! Plus if you have the more rewards card you get better deals!
The store has a good layout and most things are easy to find. The deli/butcher area is quite amazing and the hot wings bar is something no other store has. The chicken and lamb skewers are fantastic and the wings are quite tasty too! I didn't find much for gluten free products but they have a reasonable selection of organic offerings. The staff is friendly and helpful.
I love there food there , nice n fresh .And some great deals .Very clean store .☺
The store is very clean and well organised and they have a decent selection of products. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the service is great. My favourite section is the bakery...the things they sell there are amazing! That having been said I also find the place to be pretty expensive and I'm not a huge fan of the whole needing a membership to get the sale prices gimmick. Generally speaking I find it to be a great place to stop to pick up a few things because it's close to home...but I wouldn't get all my groceries here.
Very small store with tons of empty shelf space. Filled my water jugs at the refill station, water was cloudy. Talked to a manager about if it was soft water or dirty. Was told it must be my jugs because they were old but never had this problem elsewhere with the same jugs. Blame the customers great way to run a store.
It was really interesting. Aisles could be a bit wider. Lots of ready made foods plus interesting foods. Probably will go back again.
So I like save on foods in general, great products BUT when I have a couple items and want to use the self checkout, something always goes wrong and “assistance is needed” and I make sure I go slow and scan proper etc. The issue isn’t the Check out malfunctioning, the issue is there’s never anyone in customer service or around the self check outs to fix it!! So I’ve had to wait a while or leave my stuff to track someone down....
Lots of space gluten free options flowers
I like going here. It's clean, it's organized and everything is categorized as it should be! It's awesome that there is a also a Starbucks inside (granted I'm not a big Starbucks drinker, but it was nice to at least have a coffee shop). Prices are reasonable, like all stores there is some that is expensive here where you can get it cheaper some place else - but overall it's a good decent place. I can't make a comment about the workers as I haven't really dealt with them, or the checkout (I go through the self checkout).
The store is quite attractive while walking through, VERY small inside especially in the aisles. Two carts comfortably will not pass without bumping. If you want to pass a cart in an aisle forget it your stuck. The selection is great. HOWEVER. The prices are not comparable to their competitor Walmart across the street, with the same brands. They say they guarantee price match or better price on the shelf over ...BS I have no time to gather flyers of the various ads to prove to them, prices suck. How wrong they are. I noticed they snagged a few managers from the Walmart across the street. Interesting. Overall a let down in pricing, nice store, but does not fit the average Saskatchewan family food budget. I will shop once in awhile there, but hell no otherwise.
The produce is fresh! Staff is helpful
Very Disappointed. I asked to pay 15$ from a $50 bill and the rest on my credit card. This was apparently to much to ask. After waiting around for managment when the casheir screwed up, we were then told by a manger (Lauren) we should have just broke the 50 first. As a cashier, I know this wasn't a hard request. Customer service sure went downhill! P.S. Customer service saying sh*t when your casheier screwed up really iced the cake lol never coming back!
Spacious, well marked isles , awesome bulk food area, meat department has a very good variety of fresh products, bakery offers good selection from buns to sweets. Produce well displayed, love the flowers..
Betty is so helpful and awesome truly the best grocery worker I have ever seen!
Customer service is non existent and the poor cashiers are overworked because they are trying to force customers to use self checkout, which means no one is actually available to help at customer service. Stood at customer service close to 20 minutes with no help.
Best grocery store in the city. Staff is wonderful, especially Ivy! Say hi to her next time you're in.
Wonderful grocery store
Was impressed before I even walked through the door - parking for parents, not just moms. Prices were awesome, some things were cheaper than anywhere else. The bread selection was a little light but still pretty good. Will be going back for sure!
I like this store they have most of what I need. I wish they had a different brand of lactose free milk though and theirs is sickly sweet. As well, I want some oatmeal chocolate chip cookie dough but they don't sell it here sadly. One thing I find weird is that the bakery section is at the far right of the store but then the regular loaves of bread are 2 aisles over? But on a positive note the produce is excellent and actually stays fresh for more than a day (cough cough Safeway). The pharmacy staff are awesome!!
Absolutely amazing customer service, fresh produce and great deals.
One if my favorites. Shelves are never empty. Clean store
I Had a terrible experience with Save on foods Saskatoon Kensington. I am completely disappointed in them. I order two cakes for my son's birthday party 3 weeks in advance for Sunday April 29th. I called 2 days before to make sure they were going to be ready and I was told yes. When I get there Sunday afternoon around 2:30 pm I was told that the cakes were NOT made. I was so angry and super disappointed. This was just ridiculous, my mistake was to put my trust in them. Also there was another lady there trying to understand why the cake she ordered wasn't made either. Very unprofessional !!! I will never order from here again. They are not reliable.
Love save on , always such friendly staff.
First time I was in there was today and I was only in there for a few minutes but I was actually kind of impressed it's too bad that I'm moving in the next few days otherwise it's a place I would check out and maybe shop more often. All the fruits and vegetables look like they were good quality much better than Walmart. The only thing I was disappointed with this was I had to buy a bag because I forgot which okay I have to pay for one but they are smaller than most other bags
Beautiful store, super friendly happy staff, good prices. Love shopping here.
Great service and friendly staff. They go way above typical employees of a grocery store and staff seem happy. Plus good deals!
Betty is absolutely amazing to deal with! Always friendly, cheerful, and nice. Just a great person.
Very clean and easy place to shop
Great sales. And not a pathetic limit on the sales.either.
Excellent selection of Canadian produce and friendly staff!
Good selection, decent prices, but I have to say that there has been more than one occasion where they've horrendously understaffed during some of the busiest times. I've also run into a few less-than-helpful employees on a few occasions. Overall not a bad place to get your groceries.
It is a small store will very little select, maybe two or three different brands. Nice fresh food section. It is a place to grab something not a place I would do the whole household shopping.
Betty is fantastic! Jackie from the bake shop amazing, went looking for a pecan pie for me,found 2 and held them for me. Great service! Thank you
Have had nothing but great experience here! Jackson in the meat department helped me in his department and even ran over to deli for me. Great customer service!!
The wing bar is excellent - dill wings are my fav! A bit pricey compared to other grocery stores. Feels a bit like a small town grocery store due to the small size.
This is my go to grocery store! Very clean and organized here, & they have good selection for their produce and meats. Probably the friendliest customer service here as well, making it enjoyable to shop here ! If you get the more rewards card (which is free), this store offers some great deals . And they probably have the yummiest baked cinnamon buns here !!
Great new store
Great place to shop, wonderful staff. They are going above and beyond to provide a safe clean place to shop.
I was happy to see Save on Foods coming to Saskatoon, as they were my go to place in Vancouver when I lived there. When they first opened, the store was neat and clean and customer service was great. I was dismayed to see on my last visit that the cashier didn't speak English very well and I had to speak very loudly and slowly and repeat myself to ask a question plus the belt for food was filthy! This is not the norm in BC, the food belts are kept very clean and the cashiers clean them whenever there is a spill, or, in between customers - please ensure that this quality of cleanliness is maintained in the Saskatoon stores and don't let them go downhill as I already see in Kensington!
Good selection of produce and the bakery was clutch today. The flan that we bought was pretty and it tasted so good. My kids went to town on that dessert. It didn't stand a chance of going back in to the refrigerator. Lol
Like this grocery store. Always super clean. Weekly specials are great. Helpful and friendly staff.
Good bakery, good freshly made meals/food, good deli, though certain types of items are spread throughout the entire store for absolutely no reason whatsoever. This includes the chips, and certain flavours such as Creamy Dill are stored on an aisle front on the complete other side of the store.
A beautiful store to shop in and the staff are all so friendly and helpful . A special thank you to Ivy for the happiness she shares with you at the check out and for her great customer service . It’s always a pleasure to see Ivy at Kensington Save On.
I only shop at Save On Foods, I find they have very courteous staff and are always willing to help. The other day I was there and they were lined up at the tills and a manager stepped in and opened a till which I thought was quite remarkable.
Great selection of fresh produce and meat. Have had very positive experience with the staff as well. Definitely will be back ????
Excellent pre-made food selection and lots of bulk options. Good prices on the most common items. Smaller meat section than CO-OP but good quality meats.
Yo another good place to shop all the staff I came in contact with were really friendly and helpful they really new there stuff and guided me to the stuff I needed and I had a very good experience and would recommend this store and will be doing more shopping at this store two thumbs way up keep up the good work nice store friendly staff takes me back when everyone was friendly and helpful nice to see this store is old school nice and helpful toward everyone that I seen
Great produce, delicious baked goods, good selection of products, fast and efficient pharmacy and friendly and helpful staff. I have found the customers to be respectful too. My new favourite grocery store!
Clean but expensive. Staff treats people differently based on their color
Good prices if you use their store card! Deals and specials different days of the week on sushi and happy hour meat. Definitely worth checking out! Helpful and friendly staff make it a nice experience...could have more checkouts open, tho.
So I stopped here for a few things, went through self check out and security decided to stop me after he literally finished watching me pay for my items 4 feet away. I'm not one to call people out, but I have a feeling it was prejudice. I wouldn't shop here if you look like a minority.
I did love the store but as of lately been getting fed up on old product on the shelf ... Took back a bread item as I didnt notice the best before date was that day and then later noticed the yogurt i bought had a best before date of that day ... if you shop here CHECK THE BEST BEFORE DATE
Expensive compared to other grocers. Food is fresh and staff is friendly. They were stocked with what was needed. Only complaint would be to get the good deals they make you join thier program. I think deals should be for everyone. Points collections and the occasional special sure, but the main sale should be open to everyone.
So many good sales!! There food is great, but they're cakes are a little pricey, but I do get it they're really good cakes over all this place is a five star and the staff are so nice. P.s parking is great~
Clean store, I like the points program. I don't shop here often though. Having a family I need the best value and Save on prices are comparable to Safeway, a little on the high end. They do have good sales you just have to be willing to watch for them
Get the steaks AAA. Always make for the best suppers
Very clean and visually appealing store. Not the cheapest or most expensive option, but a good one none the less.
A bright, inviting, and organized grocery store with great variety and selection. Also sells giant kombucha!
Pretty good place to get groceries. I feel much better than Wal-mart. Better atmosphere, attitude and staff willing to actually help you.
Best fruit and veggie choices in the west end!
Staff are just awesome! Managers are super friendly and always make sure customers find everything they're needing and even bring in items that aren't in shelves if they can order it. They price match other grocery stores - if you can even find a better price that is! Food and product is always fresh and never expired. Oh! And the starbucks attached makes your grocery shopping trip that much better. ????
Love the hot food store, quick and easy!
One of my favorites to grocery shop from. Always fast check outs, less crowding in the aisles, friendly staff
Great bakery and deli
Friendly staff, good selection and prices.
I love the shopping experience here. They have things that you cannot find anywhere else in saskatoon
All their foods - deli, bakery, meats are so beautifully displayed. Everything looks fresh and amazing. The best locally sourced honey-Wendell Estate. When I visit from Calgary, I stop here for the honey. Also have great deals on ground meat. Staff are so helpful - offered samples to taste.
I really enjoy shopping at Save on Foods, so much in fact I travel from across the city to do so. I enjoy the different variety of brands they carry and the atmosphere is pleasant to shop in. I also really enjoy their Cafe section of the store. We have eaten there before shopping and their food is quite tasty. The Bakery items look phenomenal even though I've cautioned myself from trying anything too sweet. I would recommend that anyone who lives in proximity to these stores shop at them. I certainly can't wait until we get one on our side of the city
Not cost-effective got the same things at Walmart for $20 less. Do you want to pay $50 or $70?
Items in the flyer rarely, if ever, have stock to last the entire length of the flyer period. When I asked today about one particular item I was told it was the old flyer even though that flyer hasn't even expired yet! People are friendly and willing to help but I rarely leave with what I came for in the first place. It is a nice store and it looks great inside but I don't see a reason to go back if every time I spend the 15 to drive there I go home empty handed. There are other grocery stores out there who can support the sale items through to the end of their flyer so I will go there instead.
This is one of the most friendly stores to shop at. Prices are very competitive and there lighting in the store is bright. You can easily see that there produces are good. They check to see if you need help, there reward system is very good and there fresh bread is amazing. Try it, it is worthwhile stopping by here.
Grand Opening today Saturday, parking lot full. Opened yesterday for the first time. Clean and nice BUT, prices, prices. One thing in particular that made me wonder how many more are over-priced like that was Canola Oil (3L) selling for $8.99 yet elsewhere its 4.99. Be the judge on that price difference.
Produce never seems to last. Bread goes moldy after 2 days. Generic brand is poor quality. Many products are over priced. Decent selection of pickles.
