Awesome place! So much detail all around and reasonable prices. I took part in a workshop and created 2 lovely Christmas planters. The materials were great quality and plentiful. The staff were amazing. My Christmas cactus was looking weathered so an employee gleefully got me a beautiful replacement to add to my planter. I had so much fun and would definately recommend!

Friendly staff and beautiful shop, however, not very organized or consistent with knowledge of pricing. Quotes kept changing w each person i spoke with, Not something a person already stressed planning a wedding needs. Overall, something so simple was made so complicated. Cancelled order completely after price i was quoted was raised after being called back and told it was now a "special order". People planning weddings dont have time to bounce around like this. This shop needs to be more direct and consistent overall.

A must-visit. Give youself at least an hour to enjoy this place. There's tons of beautiful displays and plenty of variety in the plants, lots of decor and potting items to inspire your green thumb. The staff are friendly and helpful and encourage you to take your time. Definitely stop by their cafe -- we tried the apple chicken panini and it was delicious. If you want to save some money, you can bring your own pots from home and use the in-store potting bench to pot your new plants, then ring everything you bought up at the counter.

Absolutely amazing place to get all kinds of plants, arrangements, and gardening accessories. The market is primarily indoors with an outdoor area at the front comprised of arrangements and large planters. They offer some very unique and trendy plants such as the fiddle leaf and others. There are lots of varieties in different sizes, allowing you to buy whichever size you want. Indoors there is also a large area filled with cacti and succulents. Further in there is an area of orchids, an area with climbers and unique plants. Towards the back is the pastry market and cafe area (closed currently during shutdown). Visitors can bring dogs in but they are not allowed in the eating area. The Watering Can is also a great place for photos with tonnes of places to take adorable pictures.

I always order flowers on Mother's Day from the Watering Can, usually from the St Catharine's location, this time I switched it up after visiting the Vineland location in mid April. I ordered flowers on line and by not paying attention I used an old delivery address that was saved in my account. The flowered delivered to the wrong location and where brought into the home before the mistake was realized. I received a call explaining the issue and that the flowers could not be returned due to COVID protocol. It was clearly my mistake and I was devastated. This is where the amazing customer service came in, at 4:45 the manager, I wish I had taken her name down worked and made me a new arrangement on the busiest day of the year, and had a staff member deliver it to my mother on her way home. I can not thank you enough for the exceptional service on what I'm sure was a very hectic day. The amazing flowers arrangements had me as a customer , but paired up with the unbelievable care and customer service I am a client for life . Thank You again for everything AM

By far the most beautiful garden centre visited. Out in Vineland, on the way to Niagara Falls - in the smack of wine country. Beautiful decorations - a creative use of space and product display involving a hippie van, a canoe, and so on. Plants seemed healthy and reasonably priced. And there's a cafe filled with tropical plants. Great relaxed setting to grab a bite to eat. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Visited midday on a Saturday, the shop was quite busy but never seemed crowded. There was a 5 minute wait for our table in the cafe, but with so much to browse it went by very quickly. We were texted when there was a table available which was also convenient. The food was so good (better than we expected it would be to be honest, given its in a plant store). I'd be interested to go back for one of their workshops.

Very well organized garden centre. Huge selection of plants with full detail of price and plants name. The only issue in my opion is the tight walking path, once you follow the arrow it’s very hard to go back. I prefer wandering around and spend extra time to choose a favorite plant. If you do it here you will slow down everyone behind you so you have to keep moving... anyway their peach cheesecake is the best

Cannot recommend enough!!!! The best place for flowers and plants without a doubt. I have been a repeat customer of both of the locations of the Watering Can for a few years now. Before COVID my family and I loved to visit the stores to buy plants, enjoy the beautiful décor and chat with the friendly staff. Since the pandemic my family has taken to ordering each other flower arrangements as a way of sending love despite the distance. The care and attention that they put into each and every arrangement is unrivaled. My sister sent me a bucket of tulips last summer that filled 5 beautiful jars and stayed fresh for a long time. I just sent my partner a half dozen roses, a young monstera and a string of dolphins (all pictured below) and he was ecstatic. The prices are always exceedingly fair for the quality of their work and quantity of flowers. I have also bought several plants and succulents from the in the past and all have been clearly raised with care and continued to thrive and bring warmth into my home. When a group of people truly care about what they are doing and care about their customers you can just tell and it makes me so happy to have a local shop such as this that. I look forward to remaining a loyal patron of for years to come.

Probably my favorite garden center in the Niagara area. The watering can has a vast selection of tropicals and succulents. The shopping experiance here is worth the visit. I liken it to a theme park for plant enthusiasts. The prices are fair and the stock is well cared for. On top of the greenhouse there is also a flower shop and a cafe. The cafe serves as a nice cap on the trip serving everything from cheesecake to sandwiches. The food is great and you can relax in the ambiance with large tropical plants all around you. We have enjoyed every visit to the Watering Can and it has become a tradition to go every other week.

I am sorry, this will be the last time I go here. Which is too bad. I spend a lot of money in these places. I am not sure what is wrong with the staff but several of the women lack customer service and personality. You ask a question with someone on the floor and she was very curt. Like I was bugging her. The lady at the til had no personality. I won't mention her name even though its on the bill. Trying to make conversations about how awesome the place looks now and she had nothing too say. Sorry but the arrogance was top notch today. This has happen several times to not only me but others I know. Obviously your company & staff are too good for some people. I will take my business elsewhere where its appreciated!

My friend brought me here for the first time today. What a beautiful place to visit. I created two plants at the Create Shed. It's so much fun to go pick out a container, then browse all the plant options and make up your own planter to take home! What a great idea. Buy the plants and do it at home or do it right in the create space. You can buy some delicious goodies at the cafe and find a serene spot to enjoy it. I highly recommend the Watering Can.

Stopped for lunch at The Watering Can Flower Market while heading to Niagara on The Lake. The pastry market, patio, and beer garden looked amazing for photos. Great cocktails offered and the menu was the perfect size. I had the breakfast croissant sandwich and the piña colada cake. Everything was delicious! Desserts are large enough to share. The Nursery also offers so many different plants, all at very reasonable prices. Will definitely be back for more plants and another lunch.

Best greenhouse I have been to by far. The design is exceptional and my husband and I found the pots and plant we needed. I honestly wish I could have gotten one of every plant there as everything is so beautiful. The decor is exceptional and they have a cafe and fresh flower bouquets for sale too. Our friends took us to The Watering Can and I was surprised how beautiful it is! I have a newfound appreciation for nurseries and plants but it was my husband who enjoyed the experience the most. The sales associates (is that how you call them in nurseries?) were very knowledgeable and patiently answered all of my husband's questions. They told us which plants are great indoors, which ones are survivors and require minimal care, etc. The Watering Can has a cute little cafeteria inside so it's a good place to spend an afternoon.

This is a real hidden jem. A must if you're in the area. Such a wide variety of plants. The café is very good and very different - the tables are distributed throughout the plant display area in fairly private secluded corners. Really nice. There's also a section to get creative with your flower displays, and can be booked by groups. Really enjoyable.

Seriously love this place! Flowers are incredible, huge variety of succulents, and they even have a space to spark your inner creativity (or host workshops). The cafe is incredible. The pastries are beyond delicious- salted caramel bar and cookies and cream brownie were favourites among my family. I wish it was closer!! There are some really unique elements within the store too. I had really high hopes for this place because it looks great on social media. I purchased tickets for the garden tea for my friend and I for her birthday. I got a flat tire the day before and couldn't get the car into the shop until the next day - the day we were planning on going, so I didn't think we would be able to make it in time. We're from Toronto so having some mode of transportation is needed. I emailed the day before so that I had a paper trail, asking if we could move our date. I was by no means wanting to cancel all together because we still wanted to go, I just wanted to postpone to a different day. I didn't get a response so I called the next morning. The first girl I spoke to was very nice and said she thinks they can accomodate me, but forwarded me to her supervisor to confirm. Her supervisor essentially said "so sad, too bad" and that I either had to come in today or swallow the cost of the tickets. When I asked why, she said it's because all of the food had been purchased - all the food was like finger sandwiches and premade pastries. So I feel like the food could have just been stored and served later, especially since it was just the 2 of us, it wasn't that much food. I told her I had emailed the day before and she said that still would have been too late notice. It seems a bit ridiculous that they weren't willing to make any reasonable accommodation. She offered to have it packed up in a container and I could pick it up. I'm not driving 2 hours to pick up a take out box. So finally after my car was done being serviced we were able to come in later, but honestly the whole interaction just tainted the experience. I have seen other places implement a rebooking fee if a guest wishes to post-pone "last minute", that might be something to consider for the future. I would rather pay a rebooking fee than lose the full cost of my tickets. When we arrived the staff at the cafe who greeted us were super nice and the girl who served us was great. The staff in the plant and garden area came off as unfriendly, irritable and like they didn't want to be there. I will give credit to whoever created the plant installations, they're beautiful and make this place really unique.

The desserts are absolutely phenomenal. I picked up 3 cheesecakes, and a ferarro roche brownie. the brownie & double chocolate brownie cheesecake is hands down the BEST ones I’ve ever had. I love coming here in my days off they have many beautiful house plants and they have a great cafe. I even get myself some beautiful cut flowers as well. In the spring/summer they will have more outdoor plants as well. Great place for a drive and then go to the wineries after.

Four of us enjoyed a lovely high tea amid the foliage this past week. The food was beautifully presented and delicious however the quantity of tea served was disappointing. Only two tea pots were served for the four of us and the wait staff did not return to refill the pots with water or provide us with unlimited bottled water as detailed on the menu. It was a very hot day so we drank the tea and water and would have liked a refill of both. One guest enjoyed a vegan meal which was just as nice as the others. The wait staff did not provide his name until prompted and never returned to check in during our time. We would have liked to have been able to purchase the jam and teas we enjoyed but they were not available in the gift shop.

The arrangements are gorgeous, and the price is unbeatable. The flowers I got were amazing! They bloomed for at least two weeks, and smelled and looked glorious for that entire time. If you want gorgeous flowers, friendly staff, and timely service, look no further. I will definitely be picking up my flowers from here again. Phenomenal!

This popular flower market also serves wonderful desserts, soups, salads and a variety of sandwich items and breakfast favourites. My breakfast panini was served on a delicious croissant with egg, bacon cheese and greens. Coffee, tea and water were all available to enjoy with the most decadent desserts that made it hard to decide which one to choose. I had a fabulous turtle cheesecake!

What a great place to escape reality. I loveeeeee walking around the watering can for inspiration and ideas on what to do with my plants. Whoever puts together their planters and sets up their arrangements is amazing. I find items turn over quickly too so if you like it buy it. It may be gone when you return.

I ordered flowers and was unsure of what to write on the card, the lady I spoke with told me I could email her with my message and just to put my name in the subject field. So I did that then got a email back saying they needed an order number or the delivery address, I sent that info back to them. Then I got another email asking me to call the store because there was no orders under my name. I gave my name and phone number when I called the first time to pay with my credit card that was immediately charged when I ordered. I just found my experience very unprofessional especially since I spent over $100. I order flowers for our family on the phone all the time and this is the worst experience I’ve had. There are a few florists in St Catharines and I will definitely be picking a different one next time.

A very trendy looking garden center with lots to browse through. The plants were healthy and a decent price. Many differnt varieties of plants to look at including tropicals, succulents, cactus, annuals, bulbs, etc. Lots of larger plants available such as snake plants and fiddle leafs. Prices were on par or better than most garden centers.

Beautiful location selling plants of all kinds. You can find tropical plants, indoor plants, succulents, cacti… the options are endless! You can also get someone to make a bouquet of flowers for you, or you can select a premade bouquet. Additionally, everything is decorated beautifully and the displays are just stunning. They also do group lessons for things like wreath making and potting succulents. They have a cafe that serves wonderful treats and drinks as well. This is a lovely place to stop by to visit!

I love this place but unfortunately today I saw lots of mealybugs in a hoya plant (photo attached) and I quick checked a second pot of the same plant and saw dead ones and stopped looking. I am disappointed as they should check those plants very well and not put them for customers. Otherwise I would totally give them 5 stars.

From the time I started working in the Floral industry 10+ years ago to now, I still stand that The Watering Can is the best Florist in Southern Ontario. You cannot compare the experience, selection, quality, artistry and prices to anywhere else! They did my sister's wedding, I've attended workshops and bought many items such as cut flowers, arranged bouquets, succulents and other potted plants - which are all outstanding! They have the true knowledge of the industry, with the European connection. Their designers are very talented and I am in awe every time I visit. Once you go into the GTA florists are ridiculously overpriced, while at The Watering Can they have very fair prices (and could honestly charge more, but please don't lol). I could go on and on about their displays too! Please visit their Vineland location!

I stumbled across the Watering Can after a visit in Vineland in the summer of 2020 and I have been a fan ever since. This is a great place for people who are starting their love affair with houseplants. They have a great selection of houseplants, lots of pots, and great decor. They also have a cafe inside with great treats and drinks. They make really good scones (cheddar and chive is to die for) and their cheesecakes are great to share. They also do high tea, however it's been a little hard to book due to the pandemic and social distancing regulations. I've had mine cancelled twice because of lockdown. One of these days, I will have tea with the tropical plants. I am really excited for that experience because as mentioned before they make really good treats. Their staff are really nice and knowledgeable. Every person I asked advice from had really good tips to share. I bought my first rare plant from there (Silver Dragon Alocasia) and it has been happy and growing since I brought it home. Happy Planting!

My first visit to the Watering Can in Virgil. I had a terrible lunch. Ordered the Soup of the Day , told it was Potato Leek. I got Carrot Soup served to me. There was no Potato Leek that day. The Carrot soup was tasteless. I also ordered the Creamed Mushrooms on Toast. supposed to be creamy mushroom on Sourdough bread. There was no cream sauce on the mushrooms, just a half cup of sautéed mushrooms on a small piece of brown bread burnt crispy. It was supposed to be Sour Dough bread. Got an apology but no replacement. I should have taken a picture of the burnt crusts on the brown bread. I was so looking forward to this lunch out. I'll never go back. I do find the arrangements to be quite lovely, and I have purchased from them some arrangements that had very fresh flowers, however, the past three occasions I had purchased from them, the flowers died within 4 hours of bringing them home. I don't know what is going on, but they need to address that. I have been nothing but disappointed in their product lately. The customer service is usually quite good, no complaints at all about this aspect. Please address the dying flowers aspect asap. Thank you.

My girlfriend and I were hoping to find a place we could grab a bite to eat and we found the Watering Can to be an oasis of green, with great food (brie and apple on sourdough), the best peppermint tea I have had, and a fabulous date square. A nice break and getaway. Our service was wonderful ????
