I can’t saw enough about Top Hat florist!! He literally saved my bouquets for my weddings I had him make me a bridal bouquet in a lightsaber hilt and he made it better than I could have imagined! Then the night before my wedding, I discovered my bridesmaids bouquets that I had put in my fridge, (had recently been fixed and didn’t check the temp) had completely frozen! Half the flowers in them were dead! I had purchased them online and they had been shipped a few days earlier My bridesmaid took them to his shop and he unwrapped them, replaced all the dead flowers and put new burlap around them! And for such a small fee, I couldn’t have been more happy. Was absolutely amazing, will definitely be using their services again!

My sister-in-law's mother passed away and we decided to go with Canada Flowers. They live in Winnipeg and we live outside of Edmonton. I wanted a really nice bouquet sent, so I did pay $141.00. I asked my sister-in-law to send me a picture. I was not all that impressed with the florist, TOP HAT FLORISTS in Winnipeg, but I guess that is the risk you take. By the next morning some of the flowers had died, probably frozen from the delivery. I contacted Canada Flowers and they said all they could do was contact the florist and give us a 10% refund. The florist said they would go replace the flowers that froze. As if someone who has just lost a loved one wants some florist to come into their home. By the time the florist contacted my sister-in-law, most of the flowers were dead. My sister-in-law told him to just refund the money, the bouquet is died. So, the florist shows up and takes the bouquet. I was refunded $111.11 from Canada Flowers. They indicated, "Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the order in full. At this time, we have refunded the order minus the fees needed by our AFFILIATE to cover their costs". Their cost of delivering frozen flowers. I am not impressed. I just payed $30 for trying to comfort my sister-in-law, which in turn created stress for my grieving sister-law.

Disappointing experience and customer service. I ordered flowers for my mom to be delivered on a specific day (for a reason), which was confirmed by email after I placed the order. By 6pm that evening, my mom had still not received the flowers. I called the shop to figure out what was happening and the woman on the phone was very rude and told me they had “hundreds of orders” and she had “no idea” where my order was or when it would be delivered. By 11am the next morning, my mom had still not received her flowers. I called the shop back again and this time was told that my order had been lost somehow, so I had to give all my information again. They then complained when I asked if the flowers could at least be delivered that morning, since my mom wouldn’t be home in the afternoon (and they were already a day late...). In the end, they did deliver them that morning, but acted like it was a hassle for them to do so. Despite providing my mom’s address on the order form, and then again over the phone, the driver called my mom 3 times asking for her address, including once after they had already delivered the flowers...? So needless to say the surprise element was totally ruined, and the whole process just seemed very weird and unorganized. Finally, the flowers my mom received looked nothing like the flowers I actually ordered. The worst part is that in communicating with the shop, I never once even received an apology or offer for compensation or anything to make things right. I understand that sometimes mistakes happen, and if the people I spoke to had been kind, apologetic, and accommodating, I would have likely been understanding and wouldn’t be writing this review. But I felt like the customer service was really disappointing. I also sent them basically this review in an email first, hoping to resolve matters privately, and the response I got was literally “the flowers were delivered to your mom and they were fine. Take care.” Will not be ordering from this shop again.

I ordered flowers 3 days in advance for my Mother-In-Law's Birthday. I thought that if I ordered early I would avoid any delays in delivery. Needless to say this was not the case - the flowers did not get delivered until after 6:30 at night and were left unwrapped or boxed on the side of the house even though no instructions were given to leave them if no one was home. Top Hat advised they were delivered by 3 pm as his driver was back at the shop by 3:30. My parents did not leave the house until after that, and no flowers were there when they did. They had stayed home all day in anticipation of the delivery. When I questioned the shop about this they said they always deliver them unwrapped unless it's below freezing and that we must have our times wrong .... basically saying we lied!! The shop initially advised deliveries were between 10am-6pm, then they advised they were between 12:30-3pm. Apparently they also have their times wrong. Generally I do not like to post such reviews; however, the treatment I received and the casual 'oh well' attitude I was given was such an appalling slap in the face of decent customer service that I felt I was left no choice. I would not recommend this shop for flowers based on the treatment and attitude I received regarding this order.

I received flowers from Top Hat Florists for my birthday last summer and they were so beautiful and lasted for almost 2 weeks. Since then I have sent flowers to friends and family and they have all raved about how beautiful the arrangements were. I love the ability to view and order online. I have never been disappointed and highly recommend this florist.

Tuesday April 3 2018 is National Caregivers Day. Last year, we ordered 4 dozen roses with water capsules from Top Hat in multiple colours - They were fantastic and we would really recommend them to everyone. We just placed our order for this year.

Rod went out of his way to get a Gardenia plant for my Parents 60th anniversary. We approached several other Florists and they all said none were available or it would be very difficult to get or they are very expensive seeing it was March. After calling Rod he returned calls several times to get the details right.He found me a big gardenia right in Winnipeg and then went on to order me a smaller one and had it flown in and had it in my hands one week later! Outstanding service, a keen desire to please the customer and make their wishes come true and reasonable prices too. I highly recommend this florist! Thank you!

Ordered flower for my best friend for mothers day. It was her first monther's day without her mom so I wanted to get her a bouquet of her moms favourite flowers - Carnations. I called and placed the order over the phone, was asked if i wanted a vase and I said yes. I asked for a total and was given a price of $15 which was prefect. I picked up the order, they were beautiful everything went smoothly...or so I thought. I checked my credit card statement and they charged me $50...for Carnations....I called the company back when i found the discrepancy and left 2 voicemails without a call back. I finally got through and was told that the price i was quoted when i asked for the total was just for the vase. I will never recommend or return to this business.
