Ever since I was young, I have loved this store. The smells, how festive it always is no matter the time of year, and the fact you can always find something unique. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the vast variety of plants and special knickknacks are great. The only downside is that of course, with a large selection of products comes a higher price. Items are a bit pricey, but if you find something special, get it, as you won't find it somewhere else.

Bought a 4-way apple tree last year that never bloomed. I took it in today (15 months later) and they swapped it out for a 4-way fruit salad tree! No problem! So nice of Phil and the other staff that helped me out to make this such an easy transaction. Very appreciative.

The florist here named Sue is the most wonderful person in the world! I ordered flowers for my mother's birthday for delivery and explained to her that we had not expected to have the opportunity again as my mother was terminally ill. Sue tried all day to deliver the flowers but it turned my father had a medical emergency so they weren't home.sue stayed after hours to make sure she got the flowers. Thank you, they were beautiful!

One of few garden dedicated shops in and around Penticton. Since new ownership last year prices are through the roof but it seems the business is thriving so they must be doing something right. Lots of cool stuff in store but when I see it I go home and check the Amazon price for a gut check.

The team knows there stuff here! Really great selection of quality plants and they guarantee their shrubs and trees. I took back 2 trees that I had bought but put in the wrong place. They advised me what would work best and they exchanged the trees no problem! The replacement trees they recommended are thriving and perfect!

There is one staff member, however, who I have had to deal with on the till every time I have been in and they are almost enough to ensure I don’t come back. Soooooo Expensive!!!!! Expect to pay no less than $80 for a small tree of any kind. But if you have a deep wallet they really do have beautiful plants and yard decor. I was personally disappointed in the fertilizer selection I'm looking for a general-purpose 15-15-15 and they don't have anything even close to this.

The Christmas centre piece workshop was advertised as 3 hours and was done in an hour. Don’t be late, even 4 minutes is too much for them, or you will get a lecture from the grumpy staff. Thumbs way down!!!

Love this garden centre. We travel to Penticton at times just to shop at Garden Works. The area that we live in, an hour away has a number of garden centres, some much larger but you can not find the customer service and friendliness that you can here. Keep up the great service.

We will wait to see what the flowers look like but for now I will keep at one. I made an order online on Monday for a Thursday delivery. They call me now to inform me they have no balloons and literally none of the flowers in the bouquet I selected. I hastily listen to the choices of alternate flowers - none as good as the originals in terms of selection or colour. The whole thing was rushed with no apology whatsoever, when I'm paying nearly $100 I, at minimum expect what I pay for and then hopefully good, polite customer service if the order isn't possible. Sadly, this wasn't the case and I will never use this business again. I will recommend others against this florist.

Bought $ 150 tree was waiting for some help to put in vehicle an elderly employee came walking up grabbed tree threw it in back of the truck with no care taken ,I was shocked . Got home noticed 2 branches broke on willow. There is one unhappy employee !

Plants are well maintained... and they offer lots of choice and have plants arranged in settings the suggest various combinations. The one draw back... i saw lots of staff there standing around but no one offered to assist me..neither with selecting my plants ..finding plants i wanted nor moving items to my cart... no one approached me to ask if i needed any help. They just hung out in little groups talking amongst themselves. So a 10 on plant care and selection and zero on customer service.

Great place and good plants and trees. We bought a lot of trees and plants in the last 2 years. We bought a Japanese Maple and we told the sales person where we live and that the tree would be in the sun the whole day. No problem he said and of course the tree died. Went back with the tree and was told I put it in the wrong place. They should not have sold the tree to me if it could not handle our environment. I was disappointed with the reply from Gardenworks. No discount at all on the new purchase.
