I was very disappointed with the arrangement I ordered. I have always used this florist previously and was always impressed with their arrangements! Has ownership changed? I spent 99.00 for my Mother's 85th Birthday as I no longer live in the area I ordered over the phone and gave a figure of around $70.00 plus delivery of $18.00 for $100.00 I got 2 roses,3 carnations, 2 lilies and 1 iris, 3 asters and greenery in a large clear vase. The arrangement was too sparse for a large vase and some of the flowers looked quite old. I was not impressed for the amount of money!!

I am currently in the store. And have been for the past 10 minutes. I can see three people in the back, one of whom is drinking at 1pm on a Monday. Have yet to have even my presence in their store acknowledged. I would suggest going elsewhere if you wish to buy flowers...or just receive the bare minimum of customer service. Guess I'll leave now.

Called my wife at work to get address of her work ,which spoiled the surprise and then delivered the flowers at 9am,when i requested afternoon as she starts work at 12 pm.paid top dollar for dozen roses and got worst service ever . Very dissapointed !!!!!!!!!

We live in the area and my daughter (10yo) went in by herself to buy me a birthday present, she wanted it to be a surprise. She picked out a lovely ring and went to the cashier. She only had twenty dollars and it was not enough for the ring but the owner gave it to her anyway and wrapped it with nice tissue. The difference in the total price was just over five dollars but the look on my daughters face when she gave me the ring was priceless. Thank you to the lady who made my daughters day and allowed her to purchase the ring. I have been in the store many times and they have beautiful home decor, gifts and body products. The employees are always warm and welcoming.

I live in California and had never before sent flowers internationally. And there have been times in the past when I used some of the large nation-wide floral services to send flowers domestically where the recipient received something quite unlike what the order called for. So I looked up local florists in Ontario, Canada, located in close proximity to my intended recipient’s workplace and (SO fortunately) found Lasting Expressions. I am thrilled and delighted to report that they not only delivered an absolutely eye-popping, magnificently stunning array of flowers and trappings that clearly showed such a love and grace in the arrangement, but also the card I wrote, using every last character, was written up by hand, which was just such a special extra touch. Fortunately, I am going to need more lovely bouquets delivered to the woman I Love in Canada - fortunate for everyone involved because I’m very happy to have a reason to keep working with and support this wonderful, professional and thoughtful company. I cannot thank you enough, my new friends at Lasting Expressions! She was absolutely surprised and way beyond delighted, as was everyone else in her workplace; as was I when I saw them in her home. I could not have asked for a more beautiful arrangement delivered, which was also perfectly on time, given the late order)! Until next time!

Beautiful flowers. Site needs a change. Doesn't accept Visa debit through online orders yet still technically accepts the order... Makes a nice inconvenience especially for anyone out of town/province. Not overly happy with customer service... 6 am phone calls aren't exactly appropriate.

Flowers came and some of them were wilted and dying. They were a special birthday gift from a loved one, and when I called about how horrible they looked, I was lied to and told they were freshly made that day.. NO WAY. I was talked over, and the the person I talked to was rude and condecending, and then I was hung up on. I can't believe they are still in business. As you can see by the photos..how do you send out flowers like that?

Worse customer service I ever had over the phone . I am 25 years old but I sound like a 12 year old .. I respect that ... I respect someone asking over the phone since it can be tricky . But I won't accept anyone being all upset over the phone and saying "I have work to do just tell me what you want " , "okay what else " with soooo much attitude !!!!! How is this business running? I was suppose to spend $80,00 for a small arrangement ... Do you consider me cheap or this is how you treat every client ? Bad bad bad .. I hang up the phone on that lady and called another florist close by.

We ordered a bouquet for my mother, at a considerable cost, and even went as far as to phone to make sure that they had the flowers to make it possible. The gentleman assured us that it was possible. However, the arrangement my mother received was nowhere near the arrangement of the photo. The flowers were different, the colour scheme was different. It looked nothing like the image. When we phoned to inquire, the lady was very rude, beginning to yell in response to our inquiry. I'm afraid this florist has not been the same since changing ownership a few years ago. There's nothing in common but the name. Will not order from them ever again.

Do not order from here, you will be sadly disappointed. We order 2 bouquets Daisy day Blush deluxe and Amethyst Skies standard. Neither of them what were pictured however the Daisy Day blush was similar in colour and flowers minus the lilies. We picked up the Daisy Day Blush on Satirday, when questioned on the missing lilies my husband was told they were sold out and that they supplemented with "other" flowers. They also did not put any carnations in the bouquet. The next bouquet was the Amethyst skies which on the website stated hues of lavender, plum and blue daisies, asters and carnations in a bamboo basket. This arrangement was absolutely nothing like the picture or description, when I questioned this and showed the picture the son stated oh we are out of flowers; as I stared at a backroom full of flowers many of which would have been way more suitable than what I was being given, when I asked about the basket they again said they were out of them, the son then walked away leaving me standing outside of their shop. I went to my car and pulled up their website just to double check that I was not mistaken. Sure enough they were completely wrong, no daisies, no asters, no plum or blue flowers. We got 3 lavenderish roses, 2 closed tulips, 4 burgundy carnations and some baby's breat and greenery. I started to cry as I was embarrassed to give them to my mom and realizing that I was going to struggle to try and fix it. Ky husband took the flowers back to the store and again was told by the son that they were out of flowers, that they were busy, and asked if he wanted a full refund and to give the flowers back. He told them no he didnt want a refund he wanted what we had purchased or an acceptable substitution. The mother/ owner then showed up and tild6my husband they were busy and take the refund or leave. She then took the card out of the bouquet and walked away. My husband returned to the car with the same flowers minus the card. We came home and I started to remake my moms arrangement using my flowers. We spent $200 on 2 arrangements and both were wrong, the owner did not care that she was passing off cheaper flowers, or that the arrangements looked nothing like what is on the website or in the description. I would never recommend them purely based on the total lack of professionalism, care or consideration on the quality of their arrangements. They did not care that they had a customer in tears over their subpar quality on Mothers day. I feel scammed by them, and hope that this review helps others when they think of this shop. Do not buy from them unless you are there in person having the arrangement made, you will be deceived.

I was very disappointed to find that the flower arrangement I chose in the store was not even close to the arrangement delivered to my friend.When I called to let them know of the error, the owner argued with me instead of apologizing for the misunderstanding. She actually intimated I was wrong when it was her mistake. Terrible approach to customer service....at the purchase stage and the complaint stage.Will have to find another florist now...previous owners are missd greatly!

*Warning...Do Not Buy Flowers Here!* Lasting Expressions Floral Design is under new Management. As reported by others on this site, the quality of the flowers and service has deteriorated. Yesterday, I received an arrangement of white hydrangeas, white roses and tropical flowers. The tropical flowers were starting to curl and had missing, torn petals/leaves. They cut off 3/4 of the stems and shoved everything into a plain, clear glass vase that was too small. The order was for long stemmed flowers delivered in a box! They do not listen. They then delivered the tropical flowers in the freezing cold without any protective wrapping. We found flowers on the driveway. These flowers will not last. They cut corners and try to save $$ by using flowers that should be thrown out! When I phoned to give feedback, the woman---that made the arrangement, just wanted to argue. She became defensive and gave excuse after excuse which had nothing to do with what I was saying. I ended up just hanging up on her. They have lost a big account. This would have never happened under the former Management. I predict they will be out of business in 1 year. There is no Design here. *Warning* February 15, 2019

Absolutely gorgeous flower arrangements! I ordered flowers for my wedding May 30th 2015 including my bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages. The flowers arrived at the hotel in perfect condition and were even labeled as for who they were for within the bridal party. They came through on every detail of my personalized requests and they were beyond beautiful! Higher price range but worth every penny.

While shopping for her gma, my 11 year old daughter was witness to what the Christmas spirit is all about thanks to one of the shop employees. She didn't quit have enough money to pay forall she wavered to buy and instead of making her choose what to put back, the employee settled with her despite our insistence that me and my husband give the difference. I was so touched. Brought tears to my eyes. He set such a great example for her and us. And besides the store has so many beautiful items you can always find something.

The delivery person has no common sense! Goes from the left lane cuts you off (in the right lane) then turns right directly in front of you into Tim Horton's. I was not turning into Tim's. He deliberately cut me off. And the owner blames me to look good. Come on!

My husband and I have been loyal customers for years. I needed to buy a gift for my grandmother and was rudely sent away at 2pm on a Sunday even though the sign said they were open until 4 because "they were slow". Won't be going back if this is how they treat their customers, I would have spent a good amount of money here (and would have taken a whole 5 minutes!) considering their high prices but I guess they were more concerned about getting off work early. As I said, we definitely won't be going back.

Delivered on time but was very disappointed with how different the flowers looked versus what I chose from the photo on website - not nearly as many flowers and the types of flowers used were a little different! The flowers were also displayed on a beautiful white vase and they also claimed in description “A white frosted glass vase completes the chic look” ...the flowers came in a tall clear vase instead.

Did not want to help me and said I would be better to go to a place such as Sobey’s! If this is how you treat customers maybe you shouldn’t be in business or hire better employees that aren’t so rude and condescending.

I received a expensive bouquet from a close friend whom has been a satisfied Lasting Expressions customer for many years. Unfortunately, this bouquet was done in poor taste. Some of the flowers were already wilted. The orange Lilly’s took over the bouquet. The roses that were clumped together never opened. These flowers were generously delivered to me one week ago today. They are now ready for the recycle bin. Very disappointing.

Actually if there was a minus star That is what I would have given as they do not even deserve a one star rating,My Daughter purchased a Dozen Long Stem Red Rose's for my Husband to gift me for our 50th Wedding Anniversary They were dead on the fourth day in the Morning with a price tag of upwards of 80 Dollars.Our Daughter opted to go to a Local Small business versus Costco for this purchase to help the Buisness out in these difficult times,I was polite and asked to speak to the Manager,He said I am the Owner,I just started explaining what happened that the 4th day they were dead and even the Baby's Breath surrounding the Rose's Brown,Wanted him to be aware to in turn tell his distribution People,I explained,He abruptly interrupted and said **She should have bought them at Costco Then**Ignorant Little Man.And added Rose's only last 4 day's where I then told him,I have purchased Rose's for my Mother at different places,Well actually just Van Belle and Costco and they have lasted upwards of 2 weeks.He was just plain Ignorant, Rude & Abrupt that I personally will never enter that Dark Disgusting Establishment ever again.It once was a Beautiful Place to shop.Definatley not anymore.Do not know how to add photos of the dead Rose's,I would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE EVER,That cost for Dead flowers and I changed water,Put solution daily and snipped a wee piece off the bottoms,I know how to care for Flowers.If that was my Son,He would be out on his you know what!!But from some reviews Mother is just as bad,Lesson learned!!

Bought the "Sweetest Roses" bouquet as a Valentine's Day gift, ordered three days in advance. The bouquet was beautiful and well put-together. It was described as two dozen roses, and I was only provided with 21. Normally, this is not a discrepancy I would raise a stink over. However, for a $200 bouquet, this is a pretty significant error. I was happy to allow the company to fix this error, however it has been a week of me contacting them on multiple occasions asking them to help resolve this. I have had no acknowledgement back, yet have received three emails asking me to leave them a review. So, here is my review. Disappointed, will not order again from this location.

I bought a bouqet of red and pink roses for Valentines Day and they cost $100. I figured the roses would come in a nice vase, or something presentable, but they did not. The florist even said that they would make sure it was done up nice, and that they would be very pretty. The roses were put in a box, some of them were squished, and there was literally nothing nice about the arrangement. The roses didn't even come with a little card I could write in. Now I understanded that they hike up the prices for Valentines Day, and maybe I shouldn't of gone to a florist, but these flowers were sure as heck not worth what I paid. I will never, ever be returning to Lasting Expressions for any special occasion that I may have.
