Based on the excellent reviews posted, I chose to order a flower arrangement from this store in Scarborough, Ontario. I spoke to Gary and explained to him which flowers I wanted in the arrangement and the colours based on the occasion. I was very pleased with the finished product (as seen in the photo below). I placed the delivery order in the morning and the arrangement was delivered that same day in the late afternoon. There is a delivery charge of $11.99 which seems reasonable. The store was prompt with sending me the invoice for the purchase via email which I appreciated as well. Based on my first experience ordering from James White Flowers, I would recommend this store.

Unlike other flower shops, James White Flowers makes sure your arrangement is completely full and even adds additional flowers, complimentary! From now on, when I need flowers this is where I'm going.

Excellent customer service order taking. I wanted a very special custom bouquet not any of the flower arrangements that were pictured on the website and the lady I spoke to understood exactly what I wanted. I ordered directly over the phone to their florist from the states vs going thru FTD or Internet and it was simple. The flowers were a whole lot nicer and of better quality than those commercial companies. When my Aunt received the flowers they were very fresh and abundant in the arrangement. Everyone was admiring them. Definite go to for any of your floral needs in the Toronto area!

This is the worst flower shop i visited in my whole life. Went there to get some flowers for my sister's anniversary. After entering the store the woman came asking "just looking?" She didn't expect i was there to buy flowers because i was wearing hijab and a simple south asain outfit. I said no i am here to buy flowers and asked price for some roses. In the mean time, my toddler son who was sitting on his stroller touched the wallpaper of the cash counter (he is a special needs child and likes to feel texture of things). The moment he touched that wallpaper, the woman came running and yelled at my son "luckily you don't have big nails otherwise you will ruin that thing, it's expensive!" Imagine how I felt as a mother, my 3 year old special need son being yelled by a stranger just cause he tried to feel the texture of the damn wallpaper. I immediately left the place and asked my husband the pick up the flowers from Metro florist instead, at least they know how to behave with customers. I will never go back to that store again although it's just 3 minutes drive from my home and will never recommend to anyone even if they bring the most prettiest flowers, my son is more precious to me than thousands of flowers. And to the woman of the store (July 6/2018), you go to hell to rot and smell like rotten flowers :) I pray you get some common sense about how to behave with people.

I have ordered here so many times and i've also received arrangements from here many times. i'm always amazed at how beautiful the arrangements are. I love coming here for flowers because the quality is always really superior, roses last over a week sometimes a week an a half with good care. The owners are always friendly, honest and willing to help you get exactly what you are looking for. I recently came here looking for lavender roses to accompany a balloon arrangement, they recommended I waited for a new shipment of roses so I could get the best quality, he waited until I got there to open the box for me. I ordered a boutonniere and wristlet corsage for my son's prom. Not only were their prices better than most, the wristlet was probably one of the nicest ones at the prom. The flowers were fresh and full and adorned with three "diamonds" and berries and the bracelet part was a pretty sparkly 6 banded rhinestone bracelet. The service was polite and efficient too. I will most definitely use this florist again!

I ordered the Dreamland Pink bouquet online for my girlfriend and had them delivered to her. The prices were very reasonable.The flowers were absolutely beautiful and fresh. The picture on the website doesn't do justice to how amazing the flowers look in person. Update June 2020: Ordered again from this wonderful florist. This time I got the Pink Dream bouquet for my girlfriend. After seeing flower samples on the website, I ordered a spray over the phone, the service was excellent, valuable, they sent me pictures of my order, exactly as same as in the website: flowers in the spray were so beautiful and fresh, good quality, and with exceptional arrangement skills. Fantastic service and great quality flowers! I was asked by a very popular musician to order flowers for his wifey for her birthday, as he is out of town. I had one day to accomplish this task and it needed to be perfect! I did some research and after reading the great reviews I chose to go with James White Flowers. The couple was so kind! I was very impressed with their service, and the bouquet I ordered looked absolutely BEAUTIFUL! They were very accommodating and even came in early so I could pick up the bouquet and deliver it. They also sell trinkets to go with your flowers. I chose a large teddy bear with a red bow...but because the color scheme was purple I wanted the ribbon/bow to match. They were kind enough to accommodate the change and changed it to purple...for free! Will definitely be my go to florists from now on. Highly recommended.

Less than a week ago i ordered a couple of sprays, a standing and a matching. casket spray for my sister in law funeral. What a gorgeous arrangements Gerry created:, the red roses were huge and fresh and the white lilies complemented them perfectly. The owner, Gerry knows how to give you that personalized service , which is the very reason why , after reading the reviews. I choose James White Flowers! Worst experience ever ordered a 12 PC roses arrangement a week in advance and Gary who took my order and information did not keep my info and the day the person who was supposed to expect the flowers on her birthday did NOT received them because the order was never done. I made the order from Montreal and had to call back a few times to ask y my order was not delivered or processed his response was I forgot... So embarrassing because the person did not receive the flowers and I looked like an idiot had to ask them to send it out the day after it was supposed to be delivered... never will I do business with them again!!!!

Many years ago, a close relative passed away and I wanted to get a flower arrangement for the funeral. I went online and stumbled through James White website. I ordered an arrangement from them and sent it to the funeral home directly. The arrangement was so classy but cheerful at the same time that I thought it respected the occasion. All the flowers I ordered from them never failed my high expectations. On different occasions I ordered flower deliveries to friends, family and colleagues and I did not get to see the flowers. However, I know they are beautiful because I would always get a very warm thank you email from the receiver and most of the time, with a picture attachment of the arrangement they received. Lena and Gary are very easy to deal with. They are friendly and they know their flowers very well. I like that they offer suggestions but never pushy. Every single order I placed are consistently fresh and beautifully arranged. Above all, they are reasonably priced.

I choose an arrangement online. I'm always slightly hesitant because sometimes the flowers and arrangement doesn't always look as nice as the pictures. But I am so happy with them! Beautiful and even prettier in person. I will be going back.

Purchased mothers day flowers here for the first time and I will not be coming back. The bouquet was very underwhelming and did not resemble the size that was displayed in the picture. The flowers were also wilted and did not look fresh at all. Some of the petals were also discoloured. I am very very disappointed with the quality of the flowers as I paid over $100 for the bouquet. The price did not reflect the quality whatsoever. I will not be purchasing here again. UPDATE: In response to the owner the bouquet costed me a total of $110.73. Let us not break down what each individual flower costed, but rather focus on the subtotal of the bouquet. To be paying over $100 for a bouquet, it is only natural for me to expect the flowers to be fresh. Whether the flowers were damaged due to packaging or not it should not have been included in the bouquet if that was the case. I also doubt the thin plastic wrapping encapsulating the flowers were the result of the damaged petals. The petals of the small purple flowers were drooping and the petals were wrinkly. The pictures provided were only a few, but many of the petals of the lilies were damaged.

I was extremely pleased with the dozen yellow long-stemmed roses with upgraded greens that I ordered from James White Flowers. The flowers were a beautiful shade of yellow with very sturdy stems and lush greens. The bouquet was very nicely wrapped in cello. The roses were a gift for a friend on the occasion of her birthday and she absolutely loved them! I will definitely use James White Flowers again in the future.
